Jennifer bumped into Lina on her way out. They talked for a while before setting off in there own directions. They asked around to find the potions classroom is. She and Rowan took a long time to get there because nobody wanted to help first years.
"20 points from Gryffindor," said the teacher when they finally arrived. Jennifer groaned but didn't say anything.
The room felt dark and unfriendly but they sat down at the front of the class. He swept his cold eyes around the class. They saw Harry Potter who was sitting behind Jennifer and Rowan a few times before he finally spoke.

Psst. Does anyone remember what he said.?

Wait! It's Rowan right? Hello, I'm Marina. She grimaced as she forgot to dye her hair black, it was still that disgusting blond. You look so familiar. So much....like my father.
Sorry to interupt.

She looked to the side and saw that boy again. The one at the candy shop who didn't even notice her. She was aching to talk to him.

"Oh and thanks for letting me sit next to you Jennifer."

Lina sat down beside Rowan but surprisingly she didn't lose any points for being late.
The potions teacher looked over at Harry and asked him something so quickly that Lina didn't even hear what he said. "I don't know, Sir." Harry replied. Hermione had her hand in the air, The professor asked another thing in a quieter tone and slowly. "I.. Don't know, sir." Harry said again.

Lina felt bad for Harry. "Well then, It looks like fame isn't everything." The teacher replied.
Draco smirked at Harry.

Jennifer watched as the teacher asked questions and poor Harry Potter had to answer the. A smile formed on Jennifer's lips. It WAS funny but in a bad way.

Psst. I forgot what happens. Does anyone have book 1? I only have book 3, 5, 6 and 7.

Lina got her quill, ink bottle and a piece of paper from her bag, And over all the noise the teacher said, "And a point will be taken from Griffindor."

Things didn't approve for the Gryffindors as the Potions lesson continued. The teacher set them all into pairs and set them to mixing up a simple potion to cure boils.

He swept around in his long black cloak, watching them weigh dried nettles and crush snake fangs, criticizing almost everyone except Lina and Draco (who had been put into a pair), he was just telling everyone to look at the perfect way Lina and Draco had stewed their horned slugs when clouds of acid green smoke and a loud hissing filled the dungeon.
Neville had somehow managed to melt Seamus's cauldron into a twisted blob, and their potion was seeping across the floor, burning holes in people's shoes.

Within seconds, the whole class was standing on their stools, while Neville, who had been drenched in the potion when the cauldron collapsed, moaned in pain as angry red boils sprang up all over his arms and legs.
"Idiot boy!" snarled the teacher, clearing the spilled potion away with one wave of his wand.

Rowan stared at the boy who had spilled his potion. She shrugged and decided that everybody made mistakes at some point or another. She wanted to help clean up, but by the looks of the results of his potion, she decided not to.

The teacher looked over at Neville, "I suppose you added the porcupine quills before taking the cauldron off the fire?"
Neville whimpered as boils started to pop up all over his nose.
"Take him to the hospital wing," The teacher spat at Seamus. Then he rounded on Harry and Ron, who had been working next to Neville.

"You, Potter - why didn't you tell him not to add the quills? Thought he'd make you look good if he got it wrong, did you? That's another point lost for Gryffindor." Lina thought that was completely unfair, She watched Ron mutter something to Harry.

The Potions lesson ended and Lina left the class, not bothering to say good-bye to anyone.

After Lina had Charms, she went out to the Quidditch field with the other Slytherins and then the Gryffindors came over, too. There were twenty very old looking broomsticks all in a neat line.
The Slytherins were on one side of the field while the Gryffindors were on the other.

A women who looked like she was in her twenty's or thirty's came toward them, She had short gray hair and yellow eyes like a hawk. "Well, what are you all waiting for?" she barked. "Everyone stand by a broomstick. Come on, hurry up."
Students rushed over to the broomsticks. Lina looked down at her broomstick and slightly smiled.

"Stick out your right hand over your broom," called the teacher at the front, (Students stuck out their right hands,) "and say 'Up!'"
"UP!" The students shouted at once, Lina's broomstick was slightly hovering, but didn't go into her hand.
She glanced around at the other students and saw Hermione's rolled around on the ground, Neville's didn't move at all but Draco and Harry's broomsticks shot up into their hands.

The air was full of chaos as they tried to levitate their broomsticks.

Marina stared at the ground and said "Up." The broomstick went staight to her hand. She smiled a small smile.
Once evryone got settled, Madam Hoochshowed them how to mount their brooms.
"Now on the count of 3 kick up your legs then come straight back down. 1,2,3!"

Neville shot up like a corkscrew.

"Come back my boy!"

But Neville kept on rising and suddenly fell off his broom. He lay on the ground wincing with pain......(Someone continue)

Rowan's broom hopped into her hand. She smiled at the ancient-looking broom. Maybe she would be good at Quidditch.

As Rowan watched Neville shoot into the sky like a rocket, she had a sudden memory of her best friend chasing her around the house on their small brooms. Zoning out, her eyes glazed over and tuned out everything but her own thoughts.

She suddenly came awake from her trance when she heard a thump beside her.
"Owww....."

Rowan quickly knelt down and said, "Are you okay, Neville?"
Neville moaned. Madam Hooch rushed him to the Infirmary, and then a snide voice came from behind.

Jennifer did exactly what Madam Hooch said. She did said up a few times before her broom shot up 10 feet in the air before falling to her hand XD. Next to her, Ron's broom hit him in the face.
"Come on," yelled Madam Hooch. A few more brooms went to people's hands.
"On there, kick up you legs then come straight back down. One! Two! Three!" Jennifer grabbed her broom tightly and shot up diagonally in the air, her hair whipping her face (*Pokes status*). Neville meanwhile, went straight up and yelled with fright. Jennifer was going to reassure him that nothing was wrong when it happened. His broom seemed to have a mind of it's own because it tried to throw him off. He flew around while holding on his broom tightly. He zoomed up and then flew straight at the class and Madam Hooch. Everyone threw themselves to the ground. Neville flew up until him fell of with fright.
"Ah!!!"
His robe caught a statue but started to rip and the next thing, poor Neville was in a heap on the floor. A group started to gather.
"Out of the way," yelled Madam Hooch pushing through the crowd to get to Neville.

Jennifer watched Draco smirk as he threw the ball in the air before catching it again.
"Perhaps," he said,"I'll put this somewhere Longbottom can find, like a tree."
"Give it back Malfoy," said a voice and Jennifer turned and looked at Harry in surprise.
"Yeah," snared Draco,"make me," with that, he mounted his broom and flew into the air.
Harry grabbed his broom and mounted it as Hermione walked up to him.
"Remember what Madam Hooch said? No brooms in the air," she reminded him but Harry ignored her and shot up to Draco.
"Give it back or I'll knock you off your broom," Harry yelled.
From a distance, Jennifer saw that Draco looked scared. He gave Harry one last look before throwing the ball away from him.
To her great surprise, Harry zoomed after it. He caught it just before it it hit the ground. Everyone around Jennifer erupted in cheers.
Harry Potter waved the ball before running to them.
"Potter!" yelled a voice that Jennifer recognized as Professor McGonall. Jennifer felt her heart sink.

"Look! It's that stupid thing Longbottom's grandmother sent him."

Marina sensed that there was going to be a fight between the two. She hoped Rowan wouldn't get in the fight herself. She watched as Harry started chasing Draco. Wow! Harry Potter flew like a hero.

"How dare you!"
Uh oh! Proffesser Mcgonagall was heading towards them.

Some of the kids started to defend Harry.
"Quiet! Potter, follow me now."

Weirdly Mrs. M didn't seem mad.

After class, everyone was talking about it. Harry Potter was the new quidditch seeker?

Rowan wouldn't stop talking about it....

Lina didn't cheer, she looked over at where the voice came from to see Professor McGonagall rushing towards Harry, Lina didn't even feel bad or happy about her coming, she just stared at Professor McGonagall then over at Draco, who was laughing his butt off.

Lina's mouth formed into a smirk and walked over to Draco, and stared as Harry was taken away by Professor McGonagall.
As the class started walking back into the castle, Lina walked past Jennifer, Marina and Rowan, the smirk still on her face.

Rowan was still talking about how cute Harry Potter was. Marina looked at Lina with disgust. She walked right up to her and confronted her.

"How could you be on Malfoy's side? Are you crazy? That hat did a good thing by putting you with all those......I don't even have a word for how rude they are. How could you Lina?"

Her blue eyes or now green were filled with hate for Lina. But somewhere deep she still felt something for her.
