REALLY irritated! Anyone know what 'Akamai' is and how I can GET RID OF IT?!?!

Every time I open a new page (I'm using an iPad) I get this obnoxious little popup that says:

Safari cannot verify the identity of "static.ak.facebook.com". Would you like to continue anyway?

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And I have to press Cancel. UGH.

I DON'T EVEN >>HAVE<< A FACEBOOK.

What IS this Akamai thing and how do I get it to stop bugging me??? Is it some weird iPad virus thing?

I got something similar too....! I disabled my facebook o.o And this occurred on my computer.... And I think it did on my Ipod too, but I tapped a button too quickly to read it XD
It's not every time I open a page though...?

Something similar happened when I was on to the login page on a mobile. It said something about the site name not matching the certificate name, but nothing has come up since I clicked contiue on the pop up.

@eclipse this happened to me on the family computer. If you press continue it takes you there. Then you press the back button if your IPad has one and it never happens again.

This happened to me last night on my computer, and it was only on the Eggcave site, I think like Cat said, it might have to do with an ad.
