Idea for Advent Tree.

I think there should be giving out creatures sometimes from the A.T. I wasn't thinking commons, I mean rare creatures. LE's, CSP's, endangered species, etc. Is the idea good?

This would be a good idea but if everyone across eggcave got a creature that had was really uncommon that would suck for the people who already had them bc then there would be a huge abundance off them. Maybe if it was like the cave in the way that there would be five or six LEs selected for that day and the one you received was random. That way everyone wouldn't get the same egg.

I have seen this idea a few times. I don't think it's good, because people might complain because they don't like the creature. And it will mess up the rarity. People will start selling them, like the SoBs. If they gave out CSPs, they would be less rare and people will start trading them for CC.

I like the idea. As someone who will probably never have a cs creature......I think it would be nice but...everyones kind of right. I think it would make a lot of people unhappy unless the tree would let you pick one. Then maybe it miiight work. I dont see a problem with le's though. A once a year event shouldn't cause such a big deal =]

*or the tree could give out an unreleased creature ..like a "only given out from the advent tree 2012" kind of thing .

@savordajor If every user got to choose the creature, they would chooe very rares ones. Like Macbots, Doovoos, Tines and Nyms. So tat would still make them less valuable. I agree with @unknownangels's idea though, it would be better if it was an unrealeased creature.

Maybe they could only get a creature in a certain range of rarity. I think the rarest would maybe be a really rare LE or a recent CSP.

I kinda like @unknownangels idea, since I agree with the people before. But! If each user got a specified creature, wouldn't that be so much work for the artists?
I was thinking....

Maybe we could have it so there would be 2 creatures, but you have to choose only one of them...

@savordajor Hm. But some CSP are as rare as very old CSP. Mummars have a rarity of 11, they are even less rare than Zinzalls, which have a rarity of 3. You might mean a limit of age, no? Like you can only take creatures that came out in the past 3 months for example.

@savordajor I see. But I'm guessing that all the gifts for the Advent Tree are already decided, so we will just have to wait and see what happens. 😋

@savordajor This idea, if implemented, would get a LOT of negative backlash. Some people pay CC for the creatures they want. If they were given out for free, they'd feel cheated. Did you see what happened during the re-release of Florns, Foos, etc.? There were a lot of angry users who had already paid a lot of real money for those creatures. Besides, Ian has already stated that due to the furious reactions of many users, he will not be re-releasing any more creatures.

It would skew the rareity of the creatures makeing people angry that what they paid for that creature would now be less. Now if @ian could manage to make tree give out any radom recent LE with high rareity that could possibly differnt. Like maybe a random day for thetree where it could gift you anything such as, cave resets, travels, creatures, ext.

what if you made this occurence one time a year? that way, it would be fair for everyone. ONLY once a year, like CS did today on the 18th.
