A flash of black streaked past Hunter and Umberisk do fast that it could have been a trick of the light. A light rustle came from the tree above then and blood red eyes appeared from the shadows of the tree. "A battle, eh? This should be interesting," the thing said, eyes glowing in interest. The voice obviously belonged to that of a female Pokemon but the actual Pokemon could be seen, except the eyes.

The eyes shifted toward the Umbreon and the voice once again sounded, "How interesting, a small shrimp like that taking on a large oaf like that." She said, her gaze shifting towards Hunter. "Well don't let me interrupt you, battle please," she said, seeking to get comfy.

Umberisk's eyes flew to the spectating newcomer. She turned her head and the grin was wiped away.
"Shut up!" she spat angrily.

"Okay, good. That means Ice Beam would be pretty useful," Mara noted aloud. She suddenly realized she was thinking out loud. "Sorry," she said apologetically. "I'm Mara."

Mara's antenna twitched slightly as she heard some yelling in the distance. "Did you hear that?" she asked.

Aah! What happened to my post?! About Umberisk attacking Hunter?! No matter, reposting:

"Oh. That's too bad then," Umberisk said in a tiny voice, sapphire eyes revealing all the hurt and desire to inflict hurt that was pent up inside her. Then she roared and sprang upon Hunter, with claws unsheathed ripping at feathery wings and scaly flesh that ripped with great effort as she bit any vulnerable spots. Blood from his wounds sprayed her soot-colored face contorted with a mad smile. Her beautiful blue eyes had gone bloodred and her pupils had slitted to tiny toothpicks of black amongst a red ocean.
"I'll beat you up instead," Umberisk decided as she slashed.

Hunter groaned and flew up, his wings hurting. He closed his eyes and relaxed and his wounds closed up. (Roost) He then chuckled, "So you want to play, eh? Then so be it!" He then roared and used Focus Blast on Umberisk.

Lilia then heard an explosion, "Yup! We better go check it out." she said, flying towards the sound.

The Pokemon nodded, her eyes flashing in amusement, "Very interesting." She said, she then yelled, "Come on you can fight better than that, what are you? A bunch of sissys!" She yelled, she was becoming hired with the battle and wished the two Pokemon would spice up the battle.

While Lilia flew off, Mara stayed behind. She took a moment to give herself more power with a few Quiver Dances. With a nice speed boost, it didn't take too long to catch up with Lilia.

Meanwhile, Carla found a Marill with a human on its back then she asked, "Why are you carrying a human on your back?" The Marill replied, "I am the human's pokemon." The human shouted "Marill, use double edge!" the Marill did it and nailed Carla square in the face, Carla used swagger and confused it, then she used Recover to heal her wounds.

Hunter chuckled, hearing the Pokemon talk, "Fine." Hunter then started flying higher and higher. He then prepared a Hyper Beam.

Lilia used Work Up a few times as well as Magic Coat and Lucky Chant.

She took a glance at the nearby battle. "I have Flash, Sweet Scent, and Substitute, though. Should I use one of those?"

History: Eikona can't remember her family very much. She remembers their faces, but they had a very.. unsatisfied look to them. She knows for a fact that they had taken care of her for awhile.. but then they gave her away to a trainer. Eikona was beaten in a battle with a Blastoise, and her trainer just left her until a pokemon came and healed her.
Specific looks: Eikona is normal sized. She has an orange swirl on her back that starts at her hind legs. Her eyes are brown and her pelt is fluffy!
Personality: Eikona is always positive. She is sweet and caring to those she loves, and quite smart. She loves to fight since it is fun to her, but she hates it when her opponent gets too competitive.

Name: Oryon
Gender: Male
Level: 48
Pokemon: Mightyena
History: Oryon doesn't like to think about his past. His parents and siblings bullied him when he was a poochyena. His dad 'kicked' him out of the family, and so he learned how to be independent. Also, he has learned to not trust anyone who he had just met.
Specific looks: He has a white cresent moon mark with a white dot on his chest. He has another white dot next to his left eye. He wears a necklace that has a fang on it.
Personality: He is independent. He is swift and strong, and is playful around friends. He is not very nice around strangers.

Mara nodded and carefully watched the battle. The Hydreigon and, what was it? An Umbreon? They looked pretty strong. Even though she had a type advantage, Mara would NOT want to go into battle with them ever again.

She thought for a moment about her first encounter with the Hydreigon. It was a carnivore, obviously. It also seemed quite aggressive. What if things got out of hand and the Hydreigon wanted to eat the Umbreon? She'd better ask about it.

"The Hydreigon eats meat, right?" Mara whispered to Lilia. "If things went wrong, would it eat the Umbreon?"

"Hm... Good question. Not sure, though, this guys seems to eat birds, rodents and bugs more. Like a big bird. And he would not let a good opponent like that for his lunch. He would perhaps let it live so he can battle it later, since he knows that not much strong Pokemon are here anymore. So you want to live, you need to get stronger. Same goes for me." Lilia giggled, smiling.

Mara gave a small smile, or, at least a mental smile. Masquerain had no mouths, so no smiling. They could still talk. She let out a brief sigh of relief before jerking up.
'Oh man, not good,' Mara thought.
"Y-you didn't say bugs, did you?" she squeaked.

"Yup. He tried to eat me too. I think he considers me a bird. That gives me another reason to evolve... Because I'll have enough flight strenght to get out of here and I won't get eaten!" Lilia chuckled, "And I might bring you, he seems to be causing you quite some trouble."

Umberisk gasped as her claws were torn free from the Hydreigon's scaly hide. Thinking quickly, she whipped her tail out from behind her and dug it angrily into the creature's hide, to no avail, for it was ripped away as well. She fell at great speed, as if thrown, and landed with a heavy thud. Her eyes flew wide with the impact, blood spattering the ground when she coughed. She staggered to her paws, shaking her head angrily. Suddenly she was hit by a blast infused with massive power and focus, causing her to sprawl out on the ground. She panted hard for a second before leaping to her feet again, coughing more blood.
"C'mon, is that all you've got?" Umberisk jeered, lashing her whip-like tail back and forth.
She watched as he drew in breath, a sign that he'd use Hyper Beam.
"Not on my watch," she muttered, now oblivious to the spectating shadow. She whirled and darted up the nearest tree, determined not to lose. Her paws were swift and light as the trunk sped past, avoiding jutting branches as she climbed to the highest limb. Upon reaching it she leapt off. Time slowed down as she soared. She kept her eyes on her target as she flew towards it. The wind stirred her fur as it passed.
One paw hit. One paw missed. Two swung under the big Pokemon.
Umberisk's eyes widened. Then she remembered. Her tail! She swung it under the Hydreigon's neck, piercing the other side.

"I do think he's really scary," Mara admitted. "But today is the first time I've actually seen him. My real problem is the humans. Every day, their machines creep closer and closer to my lake. That's where I live. Ever since I was born, that lake has been my home." She paused and sighed. "I'd like to leave with you. To have a friend while traveling is great, I've heard. Not now. I want to stay here until my lake is gone. Urk." She grumbled,"Too sentimental for my own good." She fluttered her wings briefly like a flustered Chatot.

Hunter groaned in pain as he almost fell to the floor. He could feel the blood from his neck flow down towards his body. His Hyper Beam was stopped, since he lost concentration, "You little brad!" he spat. He then used Roost again. Hunter landed on the ground and used Screech on Umberisk and used a U-Turn right after.

Eikona was walking around as she heard someone yell. She perked her ears up and ran over to the dirrection of the noise. She saw an Umbreon and Hydreigon fighting. She widened her eyes as she watched the Hydreigon using a U-turn attack.

Umberisk clawed her ears as the Hydreigon used screech, then gasped in pain as it used U-Turn.
"Why you..." she muttered in a strained voice, tearing up grass with her claws as the Hydreigon retreated (would that be what happens? Correct me if I'm wrong).

@Chapus2009 I hate to end that there, but I don't know if he left or not. ^w^"

Mara winced as the two Pokemon battle. Blood was being drawn. That usually wasn't good. Her bottom four wings fluttered anxiously.

The figure sat in the tree and yawned, her razor sharp fangs gleaming dangerously even in the shadows. "Lame, I see battling like this practically everyday, I've seen Seedots have a more intersting battle." She said in disapproval, she knew the Pokemon below couldn't see it but she was shaking her head.'

Eikona's ear twitched as she looked up to see a figure in a tree.
So... we just stand her and do nothing? Eikona thought. Shouldn't we stop fights between pokemon.. Or are they just fighting for fun?
She didn't understand.

"Good for you!" Umberisk roared at the figure.
Her ears pricked as she noticed all of the watching Pokemon. "Hmmph, for once it seems I'm noticed," she grumbled before using Moonlight.
"Don't turn your back on me!" she growled dangerously at the retreating Pokemon, newly restored power coursing through her muscles as she darted in and used Faint Attack. She slashed him across his neck with her serrated tail, reopening the closed gash and leaping onto his back.

Hunter hissed and groaned in pain. He then turn his head around and saw Umberisk on his back. His eyes were glowing red with anger. He then grabbed her with his jaw and threw her to the ground.
