Permanent Darkness

It happen on the 31st of December, New Years eve. The second before it was officially 2013 all natural light sources seemed to be switched off. The sun still gave the warmth, just none of the light.

Then Lunar took over, and that's when everything went in a downward spiral. When she took over, the world truly went dark. That's also when people began to mess with true magic.

Throughout the years Lunar's descendants ruled over the Earth, hiding the one thing that they feared the most. That one thing was the hidden prophecy. The thing that could ruin there leadership.

The prophecy foretold that the young of the light generation will destroy the Lunar family and become the new rulers who bring the light back to Earth.

The Lunar family killed all the newborns of the light generation, or so they thought. Now in 3013, one thousand years later, kids of the light generation are appearing out of nowhere, and they have powers.

These kids are in their teen years and have been living in one village training and being kept away from view of the Lunar family. They are now ready to defeat the current Lunar family ruler, Eli Lunar. He has been the worst ruler since the first Lunar ruler.

Sadly though, some of the light generation kids have turn themselves in and become part of Eli's dark allies. These traitors usually seem to disappear into the darkness, since they're equipped in Eli's disappearing cloaks.

Name: Ally Stephens
Age: 16
Gender: Female

Appearance:Ally has straight light brown hair that reaches to the middle of her back. She's average height for a 16 year old girl, and has a beautiful hour glass figure. Her eyes are blue and seem to get darker the closer to the white of her eyes. Ally's eyes also seem to contain small emerald flecks that are more clustered when closer to the middle of her eyes. Her white skin is tanned and almost conceals light freckles under her eyes. She is not considered over weight, or overly skinny.

Personality:Ally has a very free spirit, and not one to be bossed around. She's very stubborn, but under that she's very kind and funny. Even though she is stubborn, she is easily hurt and has a fragile heart. Ally does express her thoughts freely, but knows when to keep quiet. Her actions tell you how she feeling, which some people take advantage. The littlest things do get on her nerves and she will fix them if possible. Ally is very emotional, but covers it up until in a room by herself.

Power: She can create explosives. Really she's a bomb herself. Though, this power is contained.

Side: Light

History: Ally lived with her grandparents and trained with the other light generation kids. Her grandfather did however helped her train by herself, and soon advanced quickly. Ally now is a spy for the village.

Name: Aizel Kay Tylk
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Family: Father -Armen (unknown location); Mother - Silic (unknown location)
Appearance: Height of 5'2, always making her the midget of the group. Athletic build and slightly muscled arms and legs. Tanned skin, matching coal black hair, worn in a shoulder-length bob haircut. Eyes are a striking black color. Sharp features and a nihilistically dull look to her eyes. Clothing consists of mainly black clothes - raggedy jeans, plain top, faded hoodie, once the color of cosmic blue. Two twin Guns are strapped to her hips. One oddicity of her appearance is the deep and thin line from a knife travelling from her right shoulder, down the bicep and ending at her elbow, where five stitches are located. Her left pinky finger is half missing.
Personality: As far as personality goes, Aizel is described as cruel at best. Constantly living on the edge of life, she's developed a bleak outlook of it, to the point of lacking any visible trace of kindness or mercy. Her dry, sacrastic humour and bash attitude make for one fairly selfish soldier but she compensates with skills. Said skills as a professional gunman suit well in the war, which she often describes as a 'Limitles shooting field'. She has an undying adoration for large weapons and takes a maniacall glee in killing anything and everything. She doesn't believe in God or love and hates self-pitying with a passion. Brute force is first in a fight - instead of taking her time to think over anything, she plunges head first into battle (which mplies that her bash attitude parralels into stupidity).
Power: Fire. Unlike the cliches about fire benders, Aizel truly possesses the nature of the fire element. Her power is only unleashed in case of strong feeling of anger. Once furious, she loses all control over her temper, turning into a mindless fiery beast and destroys everything in her path.
Side: Nautral! (nonchalant about the war, but seems to be more hostile towards Lunars)
History: Not to anyone's surprise, a person like Aizel has a typical sob-story of her own (everyone does nowadays). Born in an average family, father goes to war, never returns. Aizel's mother automatically thinks him dead, succumbing to the consolation of alcohol. Eventually grew acustomed to the constant darkness and became attached to the convenient veil of nighttime.

Name: Brendon O' Riley
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Short and very skinny. Short wavy black hair which covers his pale freckled face. Big dazzling sea-blue eyes are his main feature. Snake bite piercings and a sleeve tattoo ( an arm which is absolutely covered in tattoo's) which are just random patterns and wolves. Very muscular though.
Personality: Brendon is described as a loner. He hates to talk to people and is a very shy character. Very bi-polar and secretive. He never speaks of his past nor does he want to remember it. But apart from all that he is a very good friend if you get comfortable around him and he does with you. It's hard to crack him however.
Power: Brendon can inflict pain on others by just thinking it. He can destroy things easily but prefers not to use it much just in case because if he uses it too much or too powerful he will be really exhausted

Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Black hair that is streaked with blue. She has yellow-green eyes and a bright smile, though never used. She usually has a black cardigan and black jeans on. She has chains around her neck and a skull with crossbones. She also has a tatto of a snake wrapped around her neck.
Personality: She isnt the kind to show her true personality to people, but on the outside she is dark and ruthless, she has many pet-peeves and likes to make people angry. Though, if she trust's you, she wont be as cold hearted as she seems.
Power: She controls Electricity.
Side: Lunar
History: She was born in the shadowed kingdom and trained to fight, she cant stand anything to do with light so she does everything in her power to stop it. At age 15 she was put into the Advanced Guard to protect the leaders.

Gender: Male
Appearance: He has black hair and dark green eyes. He wears similar clothes to his sister (Annabella), though they are completely diffrent. He also has a tatto of a sun and a moon intertwining. With black boots.
Personality: His personality seems calm, but inside he is a completely diffrent person, with his ADHD self. He hates is sister and keeps away from her whenever possible. Also, he feels completely alone in this world and has dis-owned Annabella as his sister.
Power: Controling Plants
Side: Neither, hates both sides.
History: He was born to a light (Samantha) and a Darkness (Insert random guy name) and taken away to train with his sister. But he ran away and is now living in the woods.

Name: Oustere Valdis
Alias: Taunte
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Appearance: Shortly decribed, Oustere is a giant black man. His height of 6'9 and his heavy built hardly ever passes unnoticed, as he tends to stand out from the crowd, contrasting to everyone around with his striking features. Not particularly 'fat' but buff (yet lacking any muscle mass) with massive shoulders and a wide chest. He seems capable of taking down a few dozen men of any size and often proves this assumption right, but only when the circumstanses oblige him to engage in a fight. His skin is a very dark tone. He has thick lips (often occupied by a smile) and warm brown eyes.
Personality: His colossal size and skin tone suggests him a ruthless monster, yet he is the most caring man. The war and deaths of his own kind haven't managed to harden him and Oustere remains a giant softie. Surprisingly, other than being overly protective of everything and anything living (be it Lunar or Light), he is also as childish as can be. He has visibly aged, but his character seems frozen at the stage of a child. True, he does act as a saviour and protector but does so without being a mature and superior grown-up.
Power: No such.
Side: Light!
History: Born in a poor family (And then taken away) and raised before the Lunar rule, Oustere doesn't remember a single day without light in his life, until the 'Bad People' (as he calls them) came. Still, he has grown to take the darkness as naturally given. Soon after, his foster family was slaughtered in a mass massacre, causing the otherwise calm giant to jump out of his skin and devour the attackers. Has earned his strange alias after the rather gruesome turn out of events.
Other: Permanent Darkness. Despite having no power, he is experienced in healing with herbs and generally possesses the knowledge of a medic. An empath.

There was several bangs as a young girl jumped off of a roof and landed on her feet. A slight glow emitted from the girl as someone called her name, startling her. The glow faded away as a smile crossed her face.

"You need to stop scaring when I'm practicing Pappy!" The girl said as she went over and hugged an old man as a small light flickered showing their faces.

A young boy sat on a wooden bench, smoking a cigerette, puffing the smoke into the cold thin air. He held the cigerette in his mouth the light of the tip glowing slightly. He had long wavy hair which fell just over his pale and netural face. His eyes were just open as he stared into the distance and he took the cigerette out dropping it to the ground and stomping on it to put it out. With a sigh, he hoisted himself up and stretched his arms.

Lovingly embracing the cold morning air with her freshly nicotine-filled lungs, the young girl breathed out a smoky sigh, both the mist from her feverish breath and the smoke from her cigarette lacing together in a puff of white. The pitch black background of the sky suggested it be some unearthly morning hour, but in all truth, it was near eight am, late enough for the sun to get up. Like for the past seventeen years, it didn't.

The brightly lit moon, the night sun, illuminated parts of her taintingly dull face, shining over the dark clothes, tanned skin and the mechanically gleaming gun on her hip. Black marble eyes glanced nonchalantly up at the starless night (day), having been obscured by obsidian strands of hair just seconds ago. Her legs dangled carelessly from the rooftop as she engaged in leisuring. Her form lay partially on the shingles, only her extended hands supporting her weight from behind, as she was gazing up.

Long ago had the cigarette extinguished, but simply the feel of a nicotine stick between her lips was calming enough. She sighed out another mist of white, that veiled her face again, making her seem nearly transparent - a ghost on the background of darkness.

Oustere-
A faint set of footsteps marred the silence of arriving dawn. Shoeless dark feet stomped over the grass, without a sound, enabling the giant stranger to travel invisibly through the large clearing towards a forest nearby. A clear, merry jingle of chains followed him about, chiming in with his hectic breaths. The pace he'd set for himself had quickened from the moment he'd entered the clearing. As if the feeling of being exposed made him alarmed. With each sound, his hands shook even more.

Only the glowing whiteness of otherwise dark eyes remained visible. The rest was veiled by darkness, yet even the cover of night didn't seem to put him at ease... The colossal stranger still looked around warily, throwing hurried glances over his massive shoulders. Despite his size and height, he looked so very... afraid.

The girl turned to see the white of the giants eyes. Her smiled seemed to widened as she walked over and held a candle in front of her. The girl's face was lighted as her eyes twinkled at the flickering flame.

"Hi Oustere." She said in a merry tone, her voice seemed to break the silence that had settled. Others around her also has candles held to their faces as they looked towards the giant, smiled, then went back to their work.

Nearly jumping up at the startling voice, Oustere whipped around to face the girl, shortly drawing out a sigh of relief. In the light, the visible shaking of his hands showed clearly. His usually smile-covered face now twisted in worry as he fiddled with the hem of his dirty white shirt. If anything, he looked deathly perturbed.
"Good mornin', Miss." he greeted firstly. Like usual, he was to referr to all loyalty like he was taught to - with respect. Only after this did he allow himself to continue speaking. "There be trouble, Miss. Lots. I can feel it heavy in the air. The forest animals 're uneasy." the fidgety state he was in accompanied his shaky tone. Half the words, he stuttered out barely. "Lunars might be comin'." he finished gravely.

In all truth, his size and height mattered not in a world where power was the main advantage one could have. As he wasn't one of the gifted or a descendant of either of the two royal families, he was considered lowly. Not that he minded, of course. The life of a simple medic was merry. One single disadvantage - he was as vulnerable as any mortal could be, no matter the size or height...

Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Zach is your typical emo boy. His hair is an auburn color, with blonde tips, and has bangs that cover up one eye. With a lean, muscular figure, he always looked like he worked out a lot, which he did. His eyes are a soft, deep blue, that seem to radiate kindness, love, and compassion. His lips are pierced, as are his two ears. He could be a male model, if he tried hard.
Personality: Zach is quite cheerful, although most people think he's depressed all the time, just sneaking a glance at him, only because he's emo. He is angered easily though, but is not able to hold grudges, especially when it's someone he knows, or likes. Whenever someone is angry, or upset because of something he did, he'll go to extreme risks to turn around what he did wrong, as he feels guilty quite easily.
Power: With his charming personality, he has the ability to charm, or cast anyone he would like, under a spell. The spell could be a spell of love, hate for someone else, or just a spell for them to do his bidding, although he rarely uses the last one.
Side: Light
History: He would prefer not to tell, because he did not have the greatest history, although it will be RPed out.

"I thought I told you to call me Ally." The girl said smiling, but it soon faded as the giant man revealed the horrid news. The flickering of the candle stopped as a sharp wind blew it out. She lighted the candle again.

"I see, Oustere could you alert the other light generation members? I'm going out and making sure our village is protected." Ally said as she handed the melting candle to Oustere and the glow that surrounded her only moments ago returned.
