Birthday suggestion

I recently celebrated my birthday this week, and I was thinking that it would be great if we got presents on our birthdays. Nothing big, just some EC and a travel, maybe one of our choice, or possibly make a unique b-day travel we can only get on our b-day, maybe with a cake on it or party balloons, or different ones that are given at random. And mayyybe a special b-day creature, perhaps cupcake or tiered cake shaped... but that might be too much.😊 I don't remember if we put our birthdays in when we make an account, so if not we could put them in now.. I don't know how that would be done though.
And I know people could lie about their b-days to get the items now, but you only get them once a year, so I guess it doesn't matter..? Maybe it does? But it's always best to put in your actual b-day.😃

Or like have a higher chance of catching a good travel in the shop, or able to snatch good eggs.
How about double feed day for you?

That's cool, but they should add it AFTER they add the "put your birthday here" section, so you wont know when they start it.

thats a great idea, i think we should be able to get a travel of our choice that way some people who arent very good at the TA (me *wink wink*) would be able to get a travel they've always wanted.

@cricket- Very cool! I love the idea of a birthday creature. it would really be cool if the creatures could be the color of your birth stone or something. Or maybe zodiac creatures..... hmmm so many ideas!

@lunar - I also enjoy this "higher chance" idea! Why not once a year on your special day right😊

Yeah! And how about a option to send a birthday card and gift to them. It would be something like a link on their profile. It would once and only appear on that special day. It could also (*hint* *hint*) stop peeps from pretending it's their birthday and recieving rare presents. People do that. Ah... greed. You know, but in my day, there wasn't all these lieing youngsters who put all of their lies online.

@cricket This is a rather good idea. c: And once you put your birthday, you can't change it, so that would avoid putting your birthday every day. 😋 Maybe one of the gifts would be another 10 tries at the Cave or maybe another try at the Mysterious Asteroid. And perhaps if you missed your birthday, you can still receive the gift(s)!

As long as there was a way to avoid cheaters. (Example: different birthday date on sides, etc) I'm for this.

I just wouldn't want to see people take advantage of it.

Maybe it could even give a "Birthday pack" with a few randomized goodies? 😊

You would have to opt-in for Birthday stuff to try to lower the risk of side accounts getting things by accident.

I agree with @april___ , some people cheat by using side accounts. In other words, It's a great idea! It would be nice if you could get a little something for your birthday 😸

@april__ I know people could abuse it.. I can't think of a good way to prevent it. Maybe they could have it so all your sides have to be on the same e-mail so they could make sure it's all the same b-day(that's another suggestion I made)?

@Cricket But what if a person gives away their account to a good friend in real life who doesn't already have one? Then how would THEY get a present on their birthday, without changing the date of birth?

People still go to the cave on their sides, ect.

It's sad, but a lot of people would cheat the system.

Well then, before we put this in we should put in the idea where main/side accounts would be linked, and sides literally COULDN'T go to the Cave/Asteroid/get B-day creatures 😋

I agree with that.

If sides and mains were all linked, that'd be easier. I think I made that suggestion from one of my sides before, as I've seen a few other people make it as well.

I do see some people being upset if/when this was implemented about how, 'well my birthday was last week. Now I have to wait a whole year,' and ect, ect.

@April__ If you would say that we shouldn't do this for the reasons you stated, you would say that we also shouldn't go to the Asteroid and Cave at all, either. Then what would be the point in this site?

Well, people have birthdays the whole year round, so no getting around that 😋
And in my opinion, if accounts were linked, you should be able to steal from your sides, except you have a max of 10 cave tries from all your accounts. 😋
