Nevorn sighed and drooped his eyelids to look at the ground sadly.
"I'll leave so you two can talk about it if you want. Or he could come back and you two can leave, making you have to live on sadly without telling him. Ever."

Mors came back and gave her the book. "So what did you guys talk about?"

"I was just correcting any misconceptions Hvarr might have told Nevorn...That horse is so opposed to you that I'm worried she might spread her opinion to others."

@purrclan

"Umm. anything else??" He asked. He wanted to hear her admit that she didn't love him.

"I thought I heard something else about love trouble.." he sighed. She wouldn't admit it. But he wanted her to so much.

"I. Heard. Right." Now he was mad. "The. Truth. NOW." his voice was shaking.

Tsana sighed. "I'm not exactly..."

"Not what? In love with me. Yeah I heard. Admit it." He was practically screaming. His head felt ready to explode.

She turned away. "I'm sorry...You're a really nice guy, it's not your fault, it's just...You can't force yourself to be in love with someone. I know you don't feel the same way I do, but I can't change my emotions. And besides...the last time I did love someone, all the world's writers were writing nothing but love poems for a year."

Deleted • 30 December 2012 at 9:35 PM

@purrclan

"Oh sure. You can change anything into a battle for your work." He screamed. Then he just disappeared.

Hvarr flicked her ear. Tsana was talking about her to Nevorn. Only a sentence, so she ignored it and kept eating the leaves of a short bush. Small berries were here and there in it, which was why she was eating it in the first place. Grass was so boring, she often tried to get as many seeds and berries in her diet as well. As many fruits too.
She stopped her grazing when the weapon was finally cool. her black hooves clicked on the wood at the entrance of her workshop s she went in. The guns and knives were still in a pile, the only things on the floor. She only put something in storage when they were finished. The crates were put on the shelves and in holes below them when she couldn't use them anymore.
Honestly, she hadn't had this place for long. The gods often stayed in one area, often in the most prosperous country, in a small country area, every few centuries. This one she'd had for maybe three centuries and a half. By the time any of her forts filled up, she'd have a new one, but would seal the old one up completely before leaving it altogether.
She once had one where she was a deer. She had some weapons she'd managed to make. Hoof things, harness-like things. They didn't fit the horse, though, so she couldn't salvage them.

Tsana sighed. THIS was why she didn't date. Even when she DID love them, she would say something wrong, or do something wrong, or otherwise upset them, make them mad, and make them leave. She didn't want to hurt his feelings, but it seemed like she could never help it. With friends it was okay, but whenever it was romance she just screwed it up somehow.

Mors pulled the box out. He opened it and he gladly saw many strings. He ignored the scissors and just ripped the strings, not caring about the consequences. He was crying. Then no more strings. So he pulled down so far, and found the one he was looking for. Tsana's. Could he?

Sorry, it was late and I fell asleep.

Maylene yawned once more. This stupid mortal form wouldn't let her go anywhere without making her do something. 'Whatever,' she though while walking alongside a river. She then noticed a fox up ahead. She recognized it as a fellow immortal being.

@graceseggs celosia looked and saw Marlene, goddess of the air, she bounded toward her, "so, what have you been doing" she asked, curious, being s fox...wasn't an interesting life.

"Looking for a place to nap," Maylene replied. "I got worried about the meeting. I though you guys might chew me out or something. Now, I'm tired." She sighed. "Do you know any good places to sleep?" She asked Celosia.

@graceseggs

Celosia eyes shined, Maylene didn't seem like a bad goddess after all.."oh don't worry about that meeting" celosia replied with a yawn. "I don't think it was that important...I basically slept through the whole thing" she chuckled. Sleep? "Hmm.....by this stream I suppose," Celosia suggested. "It's very peaceful...after all...there isn't much you can do as a fox."

@purrclan when do we get to change forms? x3

Maylene nodded. "Thanks," she said. She sat down next to the stream and glanced around. Celosia was right. This was a calm and peaceful place. 'I should come here sometimes,' she thought. She lied down and set her head on her paws.

"It's the same for dogs. Survival is the only real challenge. If you're owned by humans, then you have virtually nothing to live for," Maylene murmured as she closed her eyes. "I think I might want to try being a human. They seem to have the most interesting lives." She sighed again. "But, of course. We can't choose what we want to be."

@graceseggs "true that" Celosia replied. "I guess the correct term for that...would be...to feel like you have a purpose?"She said settling down beside Maylene. She let out a short laugh, "but we do have a purpose...don't we?"

"I'm pretty sure we do. We rule over this world. We can cause chaos or make everyone prosper. We are significant, yet the humans are below us. Yet we help them. Does that make us slaves to the humans?" Maylene wondered. She yawned once more. "So, what does that make us?" She murmured before falling asleep.

@graceseggs

Celosia scoffs. "I don't prefer to help others, unless they have a good reason. But..." She paused. "I'm not sure if we are slaves either, I mean, we could chose not to help humans at all, and watch them suffer." Celosia smiled wickedly, then sighed. "We create balance." She said simply."they need us." Then realized they Maylene had already fallen asleep. She flicked her ears with annoyance. "Dogs." She grumbled. Then with nothing else to do, closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep.

Maylene opened her eyes to find herself in a strange world. It was full of vivid colors. Oh, she was dreaming. She walked around. Lucid dreaming? "Great," she grumbled. "Now I have even more time to waste." She shook her head and walked around the strange dream world.

A while later, Maylene woke up. 'Yes, I'm free!' she thought. She lapped up some water from the stream before noticing a rabbit. Her dog instincts took over. She darted after the rabbit. Obviously, it ran. She could feel herself getting closer and closer. Then the rabbit ran into a hole. 'Seriously, world?' She thought. 'I'm a godess. Gimme the rabbit!' Maylene shook her head before starting the long walk back to the stream.

Tsana walked over to a peanut on the ground. There wasn't really much going for her right now...She picked it up.

@bluegirl80
If Mors cuts it and she eats it, what should she be next? 😋

@bluegirl80
You mean a caterpillar. 😋
The string is there because she's considering eating it...she's not actually going to until Mors cuts it, you know 😋

...And I don't think the rule about god powers applies, because killing a god really just changes their shape and doesn't affect much besides that. 😋
