Is CC over rated?

I just feel like I need to tell you that I completely agree with all of your points. Especially the one about the price of CC creatures, because - honestly - I can get a lot for 5 dollars that is worth more than a bunch of pixels.

We're hearing your concerns in regards to the Cash Shop. CC was never meant to become so pivotal on the website, which is why there are going to be some new things in the near future that will combat this problem. EC in particular is our primary focus this year.

I do understand that Ian needs to earn from this site. And to tell the truth, it's not his fault. It's from the users who higher prices in general. I don't know any though. o-o It's like the prices for creatures jump sky high mainy for their looks. Nym - cuteness factor = 3k CC. Honestly, I'm love your cove >< Because even without the Onny, Tine and the rare CCs, it's still gorgeous. Still, the CC rules and the prices are getting higher and more ridiculous and creatures are becoming unobtainable for people with CC as well. It'd be easier for everybody when the EC is brought back to it's previous value. 😃 I just can't wait for that to happen ❤️

Eh, I don't think I've blocked anyone permanently. I did once block this friend for using a weakness against me, I was pissed at the entire world but I unblocked her. Dunno, I always end up apologizing in a fight xD I might be wrong and I might be right but I can't express y point well enough to prove myself right (since I'm always too angry to think) and I end up insulting someone. It happens in general. It's even stated in my profile xD Fires up about silly stuff. Fact!

Oh yeah... I remember another person who I blocked permanently but she quit. Because of me. 😊 I'm actually proud of that. Yeah, I do fire up easily, but I say the truth. the entire site hated her because she was super annoying, she kept trying to get people to sell her creatures for SUPER RIDICULOUS low prices and made up obnoxious mary sue characters and tried to control roleplays, who weren't hers. She once called my friend's RP stupid and I exploded. Told her everything that people thought about her.

I apologized (aganst my will >>) but she still left. I can't believe people ended up thanking me for it xD Do you know fireclaw? 😸 She also poses as quit users returning so she can get gifts (which are given when a user returns).

But you were right about me getting emotional. Mostly paranoid 😋

Eh, I see why people don't like it. But you CAN get CC without trading creatures or buying it. There are users out there who will trade CC for EC. That's how I earn mine because I feed a lot and believe in the community feeding to keep everyone together. As far as me goes on CC....well I just adjust myself to the game. I mean, the general concept has been the same, there's just real money involved now. We all still help each other out and evolve our creatures, so I see no worries. Granted, I have run into those "other few" who aren't exactly with the Egg Cave spirit, but they're easy to avoid when you choose to hang out with the right people. XP

MY CC STORY
this seems weird, but for those who don't have money to spend here, you can always wait for a holiday and just ask for cc as an equivalent of a new 50$ video game!

I asked for 45$ CC for christmas, and my parents actually helped me get a paypal account to do it!

My cove can be an example of only spending 45 dollars (aka new videogame price) and still being very happy and satisfied with it. C=


THOUGHTS ON EGG CAVE
I love this site and how it develops;
Egg cave seems to thrive off of everyones suggestions and I have confidence that this website Is going to have many cool additions in the future.
this is the reason why I believe in it!

For now I am going to be patient and focus on the little gems that I am happy to have in my cove, and help others evolve theirs as well!

I agree with @cat on the front page, $100 daily revenue is barely above the poverty line (for the U.S. at least) and that's without the server cost, etc.
