Instead of links, maybe we could post pictures? It would be helpful, since we need to copy and paste a link each time if it's a suggestion. other times too. I was thinking, maybe, just maybe, can we be able to have an Ecode for pictures? Like this: [Picture=link]Available Ecode[/picture]Update: Instead of pictures, an eCode? That way, we would still have the choice, and we wouldn't need to copy and paste.

@jemmie Good idea xD
jemmie • 12 January 2013 at 8:41 AM
@immortalraven Lol. 😋
whispers • 12 January 2013 at 3:19 PM
@jemmie I don't agree wit this, because then possible inappropriate or offensive pictures could be posted. A link gives you an option to view it, if you are allowed to put images in a post, you don't have an option to view it since it is already there 😋
jemmie • 12 January 2013 at 5:41 PM
@whispers I haven't thought of that. Maybe, with posts that have pictures, Mods have to check it first?
cricket • 12 January 2013 at 8:49 PM
@jemmie It'd be WAY to much work for mods to check every single one of them. Have you seen just how many creature suggestions there are? I don't mind how it is now. The only links I'd want to be linked are Eggcave links.😊
jemmie • 12 January 2013 at 9:43 PM
@cricket I respect your opinion. Now I'm starting to regret suggesting this...
Meteoroid • 13 January 2013 at 5:50 PM
@jemmie No need to feel regret. A suggestion is a suggestion. 😊 Its something to look into at some point. I personally want to eventually have the Forums able to link to other threads and quote posts. Maybe something could be worked out.
bubblez • 13 January 2013 at 5:56 PM
@jemmie I actually like this idea. I'd love being able to post pictures. It'd be helpful.And about the mods having to check, and what @whispers said, people can easily post links to inappropriate stuff anyways. That doesn't mean mods would need to check each link posted, so why would they need to check each picture posted. If someone saw a bad picture, they could/should just report it. Same for links.
jemmie • 13 January 2013 at 6:11 PM
@Meteoroid @bubblez Yeah, I agree to what bubblez said kind of. Maybe that would work. After all, it can just be posting pictures, or an Ecode. I kind of like the Ecode idea, but I hate links. Copying and pasting is hard on iPads 😋 You could see something inappropriate now too. Like, as a link. Reporting has become very useful >3<Thanks Meteoroid. That would be useful too. Glad you gave some opinion!
raindrop • 13 January 2013 at 6:37 PM
@jemmie Well, they could find a way to put a filter on it. 😸 I like this idea. And, Bubblez is right, we can just report stuff. But, I would prefer for there to be a filter.
jemmie • 13 January 2013 at 6:38 PM
@raindrop Okay, thanks for the opinion!@orderedchaos What do you think?
cricket • 14 January 2013 at 5:19 AM
People can post links to innapropriate things now, but you can choose to use them or not. With a picture you have no choice but to see it. There are kids on this site you know.

@jemmie Like the idea. And you have choice would you click on it or you would not. You can always see link in left corner (least I can).
rhythm • 14 January 2013 at 7:23 AM
People post inappropriate things, you report them.I mean, someone can post inappropriate things on the forums if they word it correctly. This happens on every forum,
jemmie • 14 January 2013 at 7:51 AM
@cricket yes I know. -.- But read my first post again. I updated it.@world thanks? 😃@rhythm I know. Say someone posts a thread saying about their adorable puppy with a link to an inappropriate picture. Most people would still go to that link anyway.
linpug • 14 January 2013 at 9:52 AM
@JemmieI'm not quite sure what the suggestion is, but if you are talking a bout a picture that leads to a link, then I think that Ian didn't make this for a reason. People may think because it may lead to inappropriate things, though people on here also posted links to that as well. If someone were to do that, it would just get deleted.I think the real reason is that the link may lead to a virus. The spam bot might list an picture with a link, or something. This would be much worse.But if your just posting a picture with no link, then I think that it would be ok, because if it doesn't agree with egg cave terms, then the pic would just get deleted. I don't think that anyone would post a picture like that knowing it would get deleted, and possibly banning the user. Still, if your posting a picture on here, then you might make it to large, and that wont be good. 😉

@linpug Size limit?
aardbeix3 • 14 January 2013 at 12:32 PM
@jemmie I like the idea 😊
jemmie • 14 January 2013 at 4:44 PM
@linpug Second one. ^^ I meant just the picture, or an eCode. I mean, the picture doesn't make much of a different whether to see it or not. You still have the choice.@rhythm ?@aardbeix3 thanks.
linpug • 14 January 2013 at 6:38 PM
@rhythm I was talking to Jemmie. 😉 If you have a suggestion then talk to her. 😊 It's her suggestion, so I'm not sure why you would tell the suggestion to me. XD I was giving input on what I think of the suggestion. 😃
