Train Of Dreams

*dong!*

You hear the sound of the bells from the nearby church, announcing that it is 1:00 pm. You are sitting down at the train station, holding the mysterious ticket you received today in the mail.

"Congratulations! You have won this ticket to the Land Of Dreams! Your train will arrive today at a certain time at the Winchester Train Station. Please wait there and the train will arrive."

You flip and observe the ticket. It's obviously a joke, but you have nothing better to do of your day, so you decided to see if this 'Land Of Dreams' really existed. You watch as the people pass by, hoping abord trains.

You wait seconds. Minutes. Hours. *dong! dong! dong! dong! dong! dong! dong! dong!* The bells annouce that it is already 8'o clock. Really had nothing to do, eh? The station is about to close. So it was just some silly joke after all. So you get up and make your way out of the station.

Until...

You hear a train arrive. But thats impossible! No trains come to the station at this time! You turn around and find yourself facing a strange train...

But thats not all...

You stare at the gold, old, almost erased letters on the windows of the train.

'Train Of Dreams.'

Next to the last letter there is a small circle like symbol, the same one on your ticket! You then approach the door as it slams open. You walk in and you see an old man sleeping on a chair, wearing an officer's suit. He looks up to you and slowly takes your ticket. He then gets up and yells, "WELCOME ABOARD TO THE TRAIN OF DREAMS!" The yell is so loud you think your ears are going to explode. The man then clears his throath and smiles again, "Please take a seat."

You sit down on one of the old seats. You heard it release a long creaking sound, as if it's going to break any second. More people come in the train, all with different facial expressions. Some look happy, others scared and some even angry or disappointed. The man still yells at all of them.

You sigh and look out the window. The whole time aboard the train, strange things happen. You hear music above you, howling in the train cabin in front and your own reflection disappearing at times! The train then finally stops and it arrives at what seems like some city. The man gets up, "OKAY EVERYBODY. WE HAVE ARRIVED! YOU WERE BROUGHT HERE BECAUSE YOU HAVE A VERY BORING LIFE AND MANY DREAMS INCOMPLETE. YOUR GOAL HERE IS TO BRING THAT DREAM TO LIFE! BUT, THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT IS TO FIND A WAY TO DESTROY THE DREAMS OF OTHERS AND TURN THEM TO NIGHTMARES! GOOD LUCK!" All the passengers are then kicked out of the train.

Wait, what? You didn't quite understand what the man said... it made no sense! Make your dreams come true will destroying the ones of others...?

Well, what matters now is that you make your...dream come true. Well, whatever it is.

Now... May your dreams... begin!

Okay, for those of you that are still a bit confused, let me make some things clear. 😸 This is a BIT like the Hunger Games, although it does not involve killing. 😋 This is like a game, the victorious keep their dreams and stay in the City of Dreams until a batch come and try to defeat them. As soon as your dream is COMPLETELY destroyed, you are sent back home, meaning you lose. I forgot to mention that if you lose, you cam never come back and that you lose all memory of the place. How can you kill a dream? Well, by taking away what the person needs to acheive it. Like money, important contacts, documents... ect.

@chapus2009 Hmm... It's a complex but interesting idea. ;] I'll try this out!

Name: Adaxiel Linus
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Dream: Living in a highly technological world. Her world is inhabited by inbred species, aliens, fictional characters from all the games she has played and all the books she's read.
What they need for their dream: Not sure... Books, I guess? She gets her inspiration from there? Or Technology? Her world has a main technological panel that can shut down all the machines if it is hacked, but that's nearly impossible - she's designed it herself. ;]
Looks: Quite short- has a height of 5'4 and thin, Adaxiel is obviously not one to stand out of the crowd. She's rather thankful for those features, however, since she likes it that way. She's a strange sight to behold. Tanned skin, contrasting to unevenly cut, short, dirty-blond hair, that's usually tied up. A good bunch of strands usually frame her face and stunning green eyes, made ugly by a pair of round optics (without which she is blind as a mole). Clothes are fashioned to seem rather geeky- gray sweater with overly long sleeves, underneath a large white jacket and plain black jeans with ends, tucked into gray ankle-lenght boots.
Personality: Silent and calculative, a genious in disguise (which is why people think her crazy). She's mainly found sulking in a corner or in the company of a computer. Technology is her weakness. She cannot stand being in a group or around people, hence her poor communicating skills. That does not, in any way, mean she's shy. Humans simply bother her and if not for a good reason, she will cuss and/or throw things at whoever is pestering her.
Crush: Err... no thanks xD
Other: Lived in Sydney. A computer rat, closed up and anti-social. Mother and father, who have gotten used to their daughter's tendencies and introvert nature. No other relatives, only child. She had the plain life of a gamer. Until she received her ticket.

What they need for their dream: She will need plenty of research material, like laboratories, test subjects, scientists and find a way to perhaps inplant human genes into animal DNA without it messing up.
Looks: Long, wavy and shining brown hair. Rather tall with brown eyes and large hands. She usually wears jeans and t-shirts with sweaters.
Personality: Like to talk to mainly everyone, but can get angry and embarrassed easily. She can get along well with others, but also likes to be alone. She loves nature and get angry if anybody disrespects the environment.
