I've heard of the song of healing, pretty good! Oliver has a great voice for those types of songs

A Vocaloid that always seems to be forgotten is Hiyama Kiyoteru which is a shame because he has pretty good potential!

I have not seen one Vocaloid who doesn't deserve to not have more love, they are all brilliant in their own ways and all have their strengths and weaknesses
(and all have bad covers of popular songs that make people hate the Vocaloid ) 😋

A Vocaloid that you hear little about is Cul. She actually had a great voice when people actually use her well! Her cover of Sleeping Beauty is so much better than Hatsune Miku's (my opinion). It has so much more feeling!

Fun fact: Meiko was the first official vocaloid, Lily is the least popular, and hatsune Miku became the most popular just weeks after her debut.

One of the newest Vocaloid, his Emotionless demo is sooo good
He is an English/Japanese Vocaloid and he's voice provider is the Swedish sensation YOHIO
I think he is one of the best sounding Vocaloids out there in terms of sounding human-like

The design of YOHIOloid was chosen by YOHIO himself in a competition

I dislike Miku too, way too overrated. I don't particularly like how she is the popular one while the Kagamines voice can be manipulated to sound extremely like her

I only really criticize her because she is the most popular and I don't believe that it's right for her to be so popular

A must get since he is literally one of the best polished voicebanks

Avanna is pretty good and so is GUMI (with that many voicebanks you would hope so XD )

We should try to have a competition soon but it would be hard with so little active members

But I have an idea: just for fun we should ping random people and ask them to describe what they like to listen to and then try to find a suitable Vocaloid song for them

Like an upbeat song: PoPiPo
Sad song: Story of Evil series
Even covers made by Vocaloids would be suffice XD

But why would we want to do this?
Because Vocaloid is for everyone. Every song can be made with a Vocaloid in every genre. They may look like anime or manga characters but unlike them, Vocaloids can behave however you want

What's new from the last month...

Luka append: definitely happening
MEIKO append: sounds beautiful, I will like some soon if I can find it

Macne Nana (the first Vocaloid that will be available for the Mac) has two designs, an English (American) design and a Japanese one

Galaco: she is going to have two voice banks, a blue and red one. One will sound closer to the original prize Galaco and one will be more of an append version

For UTAU: I think it was called Project XYZ... keep an eye on that, their UTAU are sounding better by the day
(if you want to look for them search for Aiko Kikuune and look at whoever posted the video, if they have xyz in their username)

Oh man this is a long post!

Also, if you guys have an ipod or something like that, there are new Hatsune Miku and Vocaloid games and apps

Lily is a great Vocaloid!!I've heard so many great songs sung by other Vocaloids that Lily can thrash them with
I don't understand why Lily isn't well liked-same with Galaco
Both have great voices and both can be used brilliantly when used properly

What Vocaloid used to be:
A program sold pretty much as a back up singer. Vocaloids soon became the main voice in the songs

What Vocaloid is now:
Pretty much from the release of Miku and the big Crypton Vocaloids they started gaining a larger fanbase and became known as virtual divas. From some of the most iconic songs and series, manga and anime are being made and Vocaloid has become much more than just voices on a program. Toys, nendoroids, posters, magazines, fan art, figurines, car commercials, console games, concerts and world wide popularity.

kokone's design has been released, name means sound of heart or heart sounds (i can't remember which one >.<)
VoxWave is going to release a vocaloid called ALYS and it will be French/Japanese

kokone is going to be released on Valentine's Day

You should add to your first post how's its a Yamaha Crypton future project thing. I forgot the exactly wording and also theri voices are actually "provided" by humans and then manipulated.

Also you mentioned that you can make your songs but I think you should add some "offical" music to the list so people can listen to it maybe? 😋

Also in your last post you mentioned a bunch merchandise things. Vocaloid already has a manga kinda it's really short and it's called Hatsune Mix, but it's more of just focused on hatsune miku. But then also I don't think they're getting an anime (they don't have one yet >.<)
