Giving Tree Suggestion - All Holiday creatures

Ok so I know alot of people out there didn't get any Valentines Day egg from the eggcave. And so my suggestion is that they have the Giving Tree for all holiday creatures. Especially since you didn't find it in the cave and it would make everyone happy. For 3 days it would've made people happy even if they didn't find it in the cave. If you agree about it, then you can say so on this forum.

I don't agree with this. It would make people think that things will just be handed to them for free. And I also think it would make the LEs have little value since everybody could get one.

I think it's a great suggestion because you're getting it from the cave for free anyways, but if you didn't get it from the cave you can at least get 1 from the tree that sounds reasonable to me because you only got 3 days to try to get this egg and there's just way too many people trying to get it from the cave. If this was available for the 3 days alot of people would've been happy just getting one of them, and also for the 3 days you could've had several of them too.

Some people would make spam accounts, and get the crit(s) for free and send them to their main account, like many people did with the Advent Tree.

I think this is a bit of a bad idea too, I have to agree with @whispers.

This would also make LE's less rare, if EVERYONE could obtain one.

Well, you are getting it free from the cave, but there isn't an 100% chance to get it. And three days is fair enough to get a LIMITED edition creature, since I believe the chances to get an LE are increased during the time period. Note, that it is called "limited edition" for a reason. And if a person wants one, they can trade for it. It isn't too hard to trade for a newly released creature. And, as I said in my first post, if everybody got one, then the creatures would have very little to no trading value, since everybody would have one.

If you take a look at how many people who didn't get it it's not a bad idea you're only saying that because it's a rare, but during christmas time the tree was available for the whole month what could 3 days hurt for a rare that people can hardly get, I like people to be happy about the creature, and during Valentines there were was so many people wanting, but not enough to trade, how does that not sound fair?

But whispers is kinda right. A lot of people will probably not like this cause they think of the value of things and always think of what they could get for them so in other words kinda greedy I guess the word would be(no offense to anyone) I didn't have any other word to describe it.
I think everyone should get a chance to at least get one LE critter though. This game has gotten based solely on value of critters and CC. I know people that have quit because they never got anything. And even if they offered a fair amount of EC people would reject because they wanted CC or awesome critters. This is why I gift random people LEs and travels and stuff sometimes so I can make someone happy. 😊

You could say the same about everyone who doesn't have a Tine that was here in February of 2010, the whole idea of EggCave is to trade to get crits, not to get them handed to them so easily.

I'm not saying it isn't fair, but it would cause a LOAD of hassle for EggCave, people would make accounts and take advantage of it.

Yes it is hard to get what they're asking to get one of these creatures is either CC or some rares, and I gave 3 rares just for 1 egg. Which I'd have been happy to have gotten from the cave and not have to trade for it. Why trade for it, if for people's happiness trading is more fun when everyone has the creature.

You're not allowed to take from side accounts period, the tree is only to be taken from the main. And it's not hurting anyone to get it from the tree because it's like getting it from the cave anyways.

It will still have value it's like getting it from the cave, and no since you're not allowed to get it from the sides then how is it taking advantage? I know of another site that does the same thing to prohibit getting more creatures from just sides. But with that place they've got alot of ways to get the holiday creature they have these events to get it, so you pass Valentines around and get points for doing so from friends with enough points you can buy a Valentine creature. They don't have that here, but the equal of that would be the tree.

Then you disagreeing with me on this is fine, because I'm saying it's a suggestion that it's like getting it from the cave, but if you didn't get it from the cave then why would you feel uncomfortable about this idea? Because you can get it from the tree does it make a difference where you get it from?

The giving tree was nice throughout CRW, but all year? That would be really boring for me, personally ^^" If new pets aren't hard to get, then what am I doing, waiting all year for puzzles and plots? ^^"

Thanks for your opinions, but trading isn't fun at all if you never get the egg. 2 days I've tried and didn't get it, but many others also didn't get it after trying for several days. I express that feeling on their part that they can't obtain one even thru trying to trade for it.

I'm really sorry for another disagreement.
If you got one for free, what's the point of trying to get it? One main reason I'm here is for plots, and LE releases. If you get it for free, then it not only loses rarity, but it won't be as fun. Sorry if I make no sense.
Trading isn't bad. If you don't get it, maybe you didn't offer enough. Simple.

I agree with you. I also have never gotten anything "rare" from the cave and end up paying CC for it. I'm not doing that anymore & when you have nothing anybody wants they don't want to trade anyway
