Problem in purchasing at the TA

The new system of haggling has just been too much. I was purchasing travels, and I hardly got two travels.

There were three Bodes Galaxy and two Cigar Galaxy. I managed to purchase two of the Bodes Galaxy.
I was constantly trying to purchase the other Bodes Galaxy, I tried three times, and when I entered the CORRECT security code, it depicted it as invalid. I was angry. :/ Some useless updates have destroyed our hope of getting travels ourselves at the Travel Agency.

I had the assurance that I had the Cigar Galaxys to buy, but, when I entered the CORRECT security code, it was depicting it as INVALID, when it was 100% correct.

Someone else opened this topic, I think so @bubblez opened that topic, in which it was clearly mentioned that the CORRECT security code was said to be invalid by the TA.

Some other fool just posted and told it was a human mistake while it wasnt. -_- That topic was completely ignored over what that person posted.

This is a PROBLEM not a QUESTION. :/

Did you open the pages to purchase travels in different tabs? I think the codes expire if you open a second code before entering the first one :/

But I agree the codes are quite inconvenient D:

Opening multiple Purchase/Haggling screens in different tabs will cause all but the last security code to become invalid, like @mairbear mentioned. I am not sure if this was the case with you, but it seems possible judging by the screenshots posted. If so, this is unfortunately not the case of any bugs or hiccups (but I suppose still remains a problems for some users).

I know it may seem frustrating, but this change to the TA isn't exactly useless. As well as allowing more users to have a swing at getting a rarer/popular Travel, the Security Code and Haggling feature helps deter the usage of Auto-Buying scripts on the website. It is a lot more fair to have this function than allowing a couple lines of code to have the ability to instantly snatch up Travels.

When this system first came out, this happened to me all the time. Correction, everytime. And I never had multiple tabs up.


Now it does still happen but not as often, but it does still. Dunno why ._.

I had tried to purchase the travel 3rd Bodes Galaxy Travel [when there was NO multiple tabs]
I think I should have took a screenshot of that. After that I tried for the Cigar Galaxys [I am sure that I bought the Bodes Galaxy when there was only one tab.]

It doesnt happen that much now, sometimes, rarely, very rarely, and very seldom it happens.

Well, for me it happened frequently. I tried on another computer and the results were the same. It's very fustrating sigh. @frosted
