History (Optional): Lightning met Celestia while she was taking a walk in the Everfree forest. Ever since then, she has been a spy for Celestia and tries to help her take over Equestria by finding the enemies' weaknesses.
Strengths/Weaknesses: She loves having fun and can fly relatively fast for a pegasus, but she has a very hard time making friendships because of her spy status. She can never get too close to anypony.
Cutie Mark: A lightning bolt with a cloud
Other: Lightning was sent on a special mission from Celestia to infiltrate the Elements of Darkness and find their weaknesses so Celestia can use them to re-take Equestria.

Appearance: Sports a well groomed golden yellow coat with a curly red mane and tail with orange highlights. Has green eyes. Usually applies mascara.

Personality: Absolutely vain and thinks only of herself. She's two-faced and manipulative to other ponies and will go through all means to put herself on top.

History (Optional): Both of her parents were workaholics and couldn't pay attention to Golden when she was a filly. She could everything she wanted, but couldn't ever ask for their affection. If her parents couldn't deliver the newest doll, she would wail and screech until she got what she wanted.

As she grew, she decided to walk in her parents footsteps since that seemed to be the only way of life - work. She gained her cutie mark after receiving her first salary as a shop assistant. Soon after, she became addicted to success. After all, work = a mountain of bits, and that was all she needed.

She now owns a villa filled with refined furniture and maids who do her bidding. She owns several housing estates, companies and shops in which she demands a high rent and only gives out minimum wages.

Strengths/Weaknesses: Confident of herself. She's really persistent and ambitious and has a silver tongue. She's way too arrogant and proud for her own good, and of course selfish.

Cutie Mark: Gold bars

Other: Owns several establishments in Ponyville.

Nightfury was drifting lazily across the dark clouds of the sky. She thought about what crazy thing she should do today. She looked around, hoping no one would notice, then smiling gleefully, she launched herself into the sky and bolted down, like a speeding bullet, except a black one.

Midnight Splash stretched her hooves as she clamered out of her bed in Ponyville, with a yawn she cooked herself a breakfast of eggs and orange juice, then headed out into the streets of Ponyville. There, she saw Nightfury practicing her flyihg, and snickered quietly to herself. everything was normal..

Shadow opened the door to her she'd in the Everfree Forest, breathing in the lovely twilight air, before pulling on her favorite black cloak trotting off towards Ponyville to buy some food. "Why walk when you can fly?" She wondered aloud, and happily took to the skies alone, landing on the edge of the little town. Taking a deep breath, Shadow threw on her hood and trotted along, looking for a good place to buy food, when she bumped into a jet-black unicorn, dropping her bag of bits and watching them scatter. Fearfully, she looked up, her green eyes the only visible feature under her hood. Spreading her wings in the wing-holes of her cloak nervously, she back up a bit. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" She said, and bent to pick up her things quickly.

Wings tucked in, Nightfury sped downwards, her black mane rippling wildy in the wind. The freezing air felt good on a morining practice. Nightfury felt the pulses of adrenaline as she grew closer to the cold earth. Centimeters before she hit the ground, she released her wings. This caused a sudden stop, as she hovered lightly above the ground.
"I win again," she thought proudly, flapping her trusty wings.

A sudden stop after diving from such a height only meant that a cloud of dust was created below the proud pegasus' landing. Golden Glimmer guffawed at such activity, waving the air of dust off her as passed by from a distance. "Pegasi," the unicorn scoffed, "Such ruffians."

Her business? To double check if all the shops that she orders under her command had enough souveniers for ponies to buy for tonight's Moonlight Festival.

Everyone knows that the great Princess Luna was going to hold the Moonlight Festival - when the princess of the night would raise the moon and a bountiful of stars into the sky and to welcome Equestria's longest night ever.

There's going to be Luna flags, Luna cupcakes, Luna hats.. It was going to be fabulous! Of course it would, because this franchise will be run by no other than her; Golden Glimmer.

"Good morning, girls," she greeted in her usual regal tone to another stunned pegasus and a darker colored unicorn.

Nightfury was trotting over towards the bakery. Her stomach craved a warm bun, smothered in golden honey. The grey cobblestone was smooth from generations of ponies' hooves making it shine. Nightfury looked around, seeing the extravagant preparations for the Moonlight Festival. Silver tinsel was being hung on the blue street lights, giving it a star like gleam. Bakeries, like the one she was heading to, were preparing the finest sweets and treats; luna cupcakes, mooncakes, moon rocks (not as bad as they sound), moon fizz everything. Nightfury's mothwatered at the thought, sinking into a slight dizzy. She shook her head, focusing more on her breakfast. As she continued, she spotted Golden Glimmer running into a unicorn and pegasus. Nightfury gave a small chuckle," poor ponies," she thought," she can get feisty when she wants."

Lightning Bolt flew over the Everfree forest, gently touching down before the Castle of the Pony Sisters, the place where Celestia had made her base. It was made of bright colored stone and was just missing a few stones here and there. When Celestia had returned, the princess and a few others had fixed it up from the broken castle it was before. Lightning had helped too, but only near the end. She hadn't been a part of the revolution for long, but had become one of Celestia's most trusted spies. She stepped inside of the main doors and moved toward the throne room. When she entered, she made a quick bow before springing up and trotting over to Celestia. The alicorn was sitting on a raised chair, her ethereal mane flowing around her. She was wearing her gold plated armor and looked as though she was ready for war. Lightning made her way up to Celestia and stood near her. "Luna is planning a Moonlight Festival tonight to celebrate the longest night. I think it would be best to strike directly at dawn." Celestia nodded thoughtfully. "Thank you, Lightning." She said, using a slightly louder voice than most ponies. "Now, I have a special assignment for you. Do you know of the Elements of Darkness?" Lightning nodded, then gave the alicorn a confused look. "I do, but didn't you leech their power?" "Yes, but that was a long time ago. They are awakening and are trying to find new bearers. I know who these ponies are. You must find them and do anything in your power to stop them from succeeding. In order to do this, you must gain their trust and learn their weaknesses. We can use these to stop them for gaining the elements. I am counting on you to complete this task to the best of your ability. Do you feel that you can handle it?" Lightning thought for a moment, then nodded briskly. "You can count on me, princess." She said. The alicorn gave her a smile. "Thank you, Lightning Bolt. I knew I could count on you. Everything you might need has already been packed and is waiting for you by the doors. I included a list of the ponies you need to look for, as well as an interesting piece of technology that Magenta Sunset has invented. It will allow you to communicate with me, even from long distances. I will be expecting an update on your progress every few hours."-

Pepper woke up at night time rolled around. Luna wanted everypony awake for the "longest night of the year". Well, yippee. Pepper could see the stars whenever he wanted. But Luna had promised to punish anyone who didn't attend, and Pepper couldn't afford the possibility of getting hurt when he was in the middle of training. He trotted outside, awake and alert to his surroundings.

Oh who am I kidding, of course you know!" She grinned, she could just picture the pile of snacks from the bakery, and the outfits each pony would wear..

The warm honey bun felt like a rock in Nightfury's stomach. She rubbed her tummy pitifully, as slight pains shot through her abdomen.
"I knew I shouldn't scarfed it down," she thought, licking the crumbs from her muzzle," but it was worth a stomach ache. Nightfury gave a content sigh. She was sitting down at a small polished black table, with silver designs scrawled all over the place.
The table was located in a small corner of the bakery, so Nightfury could keep a watchful eye and ear on the public. So far, nothing was interesting. All the gossip was about the Moonlight Festival or Princess Celestia. She lingered around for awhile, toying with a napkin. She attempted to make the napkin into a star, but her blunt hooves refused to cooperate.
"Oh well," she thought, shrugging leaving the crumpled napkin for some other pony to pick up," time for work."

-Lightning nodded and turned toward the door when Celestia's voice stopped her. "And, Lightning Bolt? Would you mind checking up on my sist-Princess Luna." Lightning turned towards the princess. "Of course." She said with a slightly sad smile on her face. Celestia's banishment from her sister had hit the princess hard. Lightning flew gently out of the doors and closed them slowly. As she left she could hear soft crying coming from inside the room.

Golden Glimmer gleamed at what she thought was Midnightblaze's praise. "Why of course!" she said with an air of pride. It's good to hear that these ponies were up to date with the news about her. She raised a hoof to tousle her shiny red and orange mane, feeling the long silky strands. Only she can pull off this kind of thing.

"Oh you must pick up a batch of Stardust cupcakes for the festival at the Sugarcube Corner - they're absolutely divine," she suggested, but she knew she was just blantantly advertising one of her products. "And how's your day going so far? Planning to get ready for the Moonlight Festival yes? Of course you are."

Midnightblaze laughed toward Golden glimmer, just because she got her all wrong. "Stardust cupcakes.. I'll keep that in mind." She rolled her eyes when Golden wasn't looking. At that moment, Shadow bumped into her, and she turned in surprise. "Oh hi there.. it's fine I suppose." She bent her head to help pick up her bag of bits. "Where you heading off to? ANd what's with the cloak?"
