"Hey, it's okay," she said softly. "I won't hurt you."

The puma climbed down slowly.
She had leaves in her mouth. She ran to Sharp Tooth. She put the leaves on Sharp Tooth's tail.

The Puma nodded.
Sharp Tooth ran and the Puma followed.

Caroline watched as they left. She felt a bit ignored, but it didn't matter. She was used to being alone. She sort of liked it.
She sighed, starting to walk into the cover of the trees. It was even darker there.

Puma was worried. She looked back and forth, expecting a attack.

Caroline walked to her favorite spot. There was a tree with a crook in it, looking like it had been carved by a spoon. She bent down, sitting and leaning her back against it.

Puma looked at Storm. /Follow me./ he said to Storm.
She ran. Sharp Tooth and Storm followed.

Caroline yawned, feeling tired. She heard a rustling in the bushes and she stared at it tiredly, but it was just a squirrel. She shut her eyes again, curling up in the crook tiredly.

Caroline had nightmares in her sleep. The darkness didn't help. After hour of turning, she finally woke up with a start, yelping. She looked around, sitting up.

"We are shortening your time. You have 2 days. In 48 hours and one minute shes dead." The man barked into the phone. He hung up and left my room. "Crap crap crap." I say. I get up and walk to the door. I look outside the window. Dogs. Hundereds of dogs. I look out of a window. Wires. Of course wires. I open the window. Climb up and out. I sit on the roof. No tree's nothing to jump on. Maybe I could jump? Yeah. Im jumping. I jump down and land on my leg. A crack. "Ow." I curse. I limp my way out into the woods miles away. I hear a door slam and the man starts to curse. He runs into the forest. Im up high in a tree. He wont be able to see me, He leaves still cursing. I know I cant leave now. My leg is broken.

Caroline stood up, looking at the tree. She backed away, the spot still warm. It wasn't until she had left the safety of that tree that she noticed all of the animals were quiet. Even the birds and insects.
Of course it was dark, but they hadn't been quiet before she had taken her quiet nap. Caroline slowly stopped walking, looking around slowly.

I shakily pull a cell out of my pocket and turn it on. I call Caroline and not Storm. Storm hasent been much help. I wait for an answer. "Hi Caroline! I'm somewhere in the middle of Canada. I need you guys to come get me. I kinda broke my leg and I'm stuck in a tree. Hehehe." I say into the phone. "A mans after me. I've been hiding for about a day. That babies probley dead by now." I sigh.
