~The Elementals, Alternative Operation~

Mystik, a scientific concoction of sorts, holds strange properties that enable the injected individual to use special abilities determined by their DNA. Incidentally the downside of these abilities is that using them is much like doing drugs- it's addicting and it makes the user feel good, the worst part is that if the user cannot limit the use of their ability, the result is destruction and complete loss of sanity. For this, cloned people are kept in cells specially built to withstand any kind of damage, no matter the variety. A person injected with Mystik is considered what is known as an Elemental, and is only found inside of special labs in certain locations.

In a laboratory of the Elemental Production Company, where these clones of people are created and injected with Mystik, word got out that there had been an escape in a lab not too far from there. Every single Elemental had escaped, aside from those known as Overseers, clones loyal enough to be used for returning escaped Elementals and keeping imprisoned ones where they "belong".

You are one of those Elementals who have heard the news of the breakout. Does this mean escape is possible? Or does it mean more security and a worse situation?

Name: Henrietta (goes by Henri) Flynn
Gender: F
Age: 17
Appearance: 5'5". Henri is very thin; some people think she is unhealthy but her weight dropped when she went insane from overusing her ability. Since then, Henri is recovering and her personality is evening out. She has a diamond face shape and olive skin with a few light freckles across her nose. Her eyes are dark green and her hair is a dark chocolate brown. A scar - a pale circle with about a half inch diameter - is next to the outer corner of Henri's right eye. This happened when she was shot with a stun gun at the peak of her insanity.
Ability: The ability to communicate with nonhuman organisms--in other words, she can translate their mind and body movements into actual thoughts or emotions. Henri cannot actually read their minds, just come up with emotions and possibly actual sentences/words from how they act.
She can also communicate commands to them although it's harder to do. If Henri overuses the Mystik a little bit, she begins to almost act like an animal (i.e. doesn't speak, acts more scared of people or may react to people unreasonably)

@cotton I hate to be picky, but we're not doing the whole "wings ripping out" thing anymore, it seemed to unrealistic to leave in. That's why I changed the effects of mutation up a bit. I'm sorry! :0

One more thing though, I'm not saying your form is going against this, but I just wanted to let you know that once they hit the breaking point and are no longer sane, there's absolutely no way to stop them. They've got nothing left of their sanity at that point and only want to destroy anything.

I'm babbling again, apologies. xD

@cotton Okay well I know that a lot aren't realistic, but wings are totally pushing it. I even went and changed Marcus' ability from the old one. Just, well, I don't know, I guess anything that seems like it could have a sort of scientific explanation.

I mean, you don't have to get technical but for example, isn't it more believable to have electricity coursing through you than to have wings hidden somewhere in your back?

Gender: Male
Age: 19
Ability: Pyro psionic, but not pyrokinetic (in short, can control fire, but not create it), therefore carries a lighter around at all costs and is quite harmless without it. His body can attract warmth to a limited extent and it channels it similarly to the way the human budy channels electricity. So in order to use his ability, a permanent source of warmth is required - a.k.a. the lighter.
Appearance: Tall (6'3) and muscular, therefore quite noticeable, but only because of his superior height. Lean body and well-built chest, but otherwise slim, with a healthy tan. The most odd feature in him is the hair - dyed bright red in a neat buzz cut. This enables him to keep it neat and conveniently away from falling in front of his face or obscuring his vision. Original hair color - dark brown. Light brown eyes with an even lighter rimmed pupil, resembling caramel. Very gloomy looking and punk-ish. Dislikes all light colors and so hates his white clothes.
Other: Carries a lighter at all times (it's old-looking and chipped, but he's grown fond of it). Now, about the name Reid - it's supposed to be pronounced Reed, but my Reid is pronounced like raid. Mkay, also it means red-heaired. xD So if you catch my drift... EPC, for a better tomorrow.

@takatheeducatedkid Is the ability believable (the way I explained it that is xD) Also, you said they're making copies of people and so as to explain the red hair, can I just say he was cloned from a person with red hair? >,>

@cotton Also, I think I can provide a somewhat believable explanation for the wings... It would be a bit strange for them to pop out, true that'd be freaky. But what if the wings are growths originating from her spine? Imagine her spine being three times as thick as a normal human spine due to it actually multiplying (if you understand what I mean) and forming 'wings', skeletal formations in the form of wings? And maybe... maybe the wings stayed hidden for long and at one point the pressure on her real spine was a lot and they randomly spurted out of her back? I would imagine she'd be in great pain, yes, but still... It could work?

I'll double check everything I wrote in case I said something stupid...

@jupiter_hollow Yeah, I was thinking; in books like Maximum Ride, the wings are folded against the back, so why not folded under the skin? They just kind of unfold as they come out. Plus, it could be a genetic thing (ex. The Mystik gives the user a genetic quality of a bird).

Appearance: Milo is quite lanky: he stands at 6' 10" and is extremely skinny. But, he is completely healthy. He has short, strawberry blonde hair, that wisps over is forehead. He has bright, blue eyes. And, beneath them, on his cheeks, lie a splash of freckles on his pale skin. He also has freckles on his arms.
Ability: Milo can photosynthesize. Like plants, he can, at his will, use the Sun's light to create energy for himself. So, he can go much longer than a normal human without food. But, he does still need to eat regular human food or else the acid in his stomach with start to eat away at surrounding tissues.

@cotton @jupiter_hollow I agree with you guys, Adding the genetics from birds seems to make sense. Like some people are born with tails in real life, so it would make sense that an insane genetic formula could give someone wing like appendages.

Ability: With Mystik Benjamin becomes quicker. Tends to run on all fours and jumps to the trees. His primal instincts take over and he gains strength, speed and high jumps.
Other: Without mystik he was very intelligent but with it his mind turns wild like a primate.

@cotton Not to be annoying and difficult, but that still doesn't quite explain how the wings get there. It's just... Mystik doesn't grow appendages, it gives an ability. :\

Technically wigs would have to be downright huge to lift a human body off the ground, I don't care how light you are. Humans just weren't built to fly with wings. And even if they had them, a human would be incapable of lifting the wings due to their size/weight.

@cotton Again, sorry for all the trouble, I just really want this roleplay to work out, unlike every other one I've ever made. You understand why I'm so particular, right? I mean, if this fails, then I'll get depressed about it and I won't want to come to egg cave for a long time again! It's happened so many times, I can't even count! Appearance: Camilla has wavy platinum blonde hair that reaches a little beneath the middle of her back. She has light skin along with pale blue and gray eyes. She has full lips and there are occasional darker blonde streaks that blend with her hair. Camilla is tall, with curves in all the right places. She has long legs and always wears a white glove on her left arm that ends at the top of her elbow. She never takes it off when other people are around, not even if its dirty. Printed on the palm of her left hand is an permanent X.
Ability: Camilla can drain the life of people and animals. She needs her power to live. When she drains life from anything, it keeps her alive. However, Camilla can only drain life by touching with her left arm. Camilla can live for as long as she can use her power. She doesn't need food, she doesn't need anything. She just needs a bug, a animal, anything that she could drain life from.
Other: The only thing she won't kill with her ability are spiders. She's deathly afraid of them, and when she sees one, will immediately back away and find an escape route.

Gender: Male
Age: 22
Appearance: Short black hair, combed to the side, with bright blue eyes and an oval shaped head that comes to a sort of point at the end. Terrance is not muscular, but exercises to be physically fit. He's about 5'7".
Ability: Terrance can quickly "teleport" by selecting an area within his range of sight to shift to. He cannot go through walls or windows and is unable to go to places in photos, as his teleportation is really only fast traveling.
