@chapus2009 may I join? >w< Oh and summary? ^^" Pwease? o3o If I'm accepted that is.

Name: Nalie
Gender: Female
Species: Western dragon.
Looks: Slimmer and taller than most dragons, mainly hence starvation (not that she was fed unfrequently, she just hates the taste of the food). Her color is a varying shade of white. Pearly body with sticking ribs, tail blending towards deep gray, tip black and tail spike - white. She has a sharp head with undergrown gray horns pointed backwards and equally gray fangs filed to dullness. Ivory scales going down her thin (anorexic) legs and ending in black talons. Transparent wings, too weak for flying since they were undergrown. Obsidian eyes.
Brief history: Found as an egg in the wild and raised in a kind family of humans. As a result from this, she doesn't know any fighting techniques, neither is she overly flexible when it comes to flying, but in exchange, she's highly intelligent. Grew up with the unwavering belief that humans are saviours of her kind and that they are trustworthy. This is the main reason she has ended up in this dragon pound in the first place. She had a hard time getting used to living amongst her kin, surviving in the fights and wondering why these humans adore torturing dragons so much. Still, in the rush of events, she figured everything out.
Crush/Mate: 😋
Children: 😱
Other: 😃

Deep Tide watched in horror as she saw her own species kill each other. It never ceased to disgust her. When she saw Eastern dragons get thrown into the ring, she always shuddered, and looked away. She only fought for her children, who were the only hatchlings in the arena. They fought against each other every week, for lack of another their age. They didn't, and couldn't kill each other, being too popular to suddenly be done. It hurt her every time she saw them out there, but even more, every time they weren't out there, and were forced to watch, forced to listen, forced to feel the pain and evil out there.
She did not avert her eyes, like she wanted her children to. She had to be there for them, and that involved showing no weakness. It involved paying attention. It also, for her, involved transferring her hate through her eyes, glaring at the humans who watched.
What went on in their brains? Did they think the dragons enjoy it, going down with honor? Did they see them as nothing more than an animal? But surely, even an animal is kept as a pet. That would be preferred for her, she would toss aside her dignity. Did they make their pets fight, which is why it was justified? No they wouldn't. Or perhaps they didn't understand. Perhaps they didn't understand the meaning and essence of life. Perhaps they forgot what it means to be alive. The constant wars she had watched and hear about certainly supported that.

I want to be next in the arena! :S

Nightmare watched as dragons were taken out, then brought back in. He watched as a 3 men began heading towards his cage, holding a muzzle, a blindfold and a leash. As his cage door slowly opened, Nightmare struck one of the men with the side of his head, before turning so his unblinking gaze was bearing into the other two.

The dragon slithered out of the cage, keeping eye level with the 2 hypnotized men. He lashed his tail out at the man he had headbutted earlier to make sure he didn't get up again. A loud hiss escaped his jaws when he felt a suddent heavy weight on his neck, forcing him to drop his gaze, and his head to the ground. The blindfold and muzzle where placed tightly around his eyes and snout while the leash around his neck.

Nightmare was then forced up and towards the arena. There was no escape, but that didn't stop the Amphithere from trying.

Draken the looked at Scythe and smiled, "Well hello friend. I suppose you had another victory? Good to hear that." he chuckled, still cleaning himself. He then saw as a human brought him a plate with goat meat, "FINALLY. Good food. It was about time." he hissed, glaring at the human. The boy then screamed and ran away to from the vampire dragon's cage to go feed other dragons.

@chapus2009 So I just start out, right? ^^ I don't know how to, what time of the day are we? I mean, if they're serving food, then is it possible that it's dawn? How about Galiet waking up just now? ^^

Scythe chuckled, "Of course, the dragons are getting weaker and weaker I think. The kills are getting easier and easier." He chuckled and watched the human give him his food. He swung his tail and hit the human in the side, causing him to yell in pain and hurry off. Scythe chuckled and then began to eat ravenously, snapping the food up easily.

@jupiter_hollow Well, it's morning, so they are kinda serving breakfast. xD They feed the dragons the morning and night and when they finish a fight. And the dragons fight from 1 to 3 times a day, depending of their 'rank'. Like Draken will fight the morning, at lunch time and at night, while other dragons might only fight once or twice. And yes, it is possible that Galiet can go to the arena, but we need to let Nightmare finish, unless you are fighting against him. 😸 Oh, and it is possible that both dragons survive, like if a 'popular' dragon is dying, the crowd might ask for 'mercy' meaning they ask to let the dying dragon alive. If the enemy lets it live, it will be served better food and have a larger cage. If he kills it, he will most likely lose popularity.

It's complicated, but it's like the roman gladiators. 😸

@chapus2009 I changed my dragon's name, she's Nalie now o3o Galiet sounded to brute-like. Anyways, I guess I'll just start out ^^ Also, I don't really know how Nalie would win a fight against a higher rank dragon... She uses her intelligence, sure, but she's smaller and weaker. Darn, well, I'll figure it out o3o @hedwig68
-
The tight little cage fit her well, only the tip of her tail hanging loosely outside and swinging nonchalantly. It reminded her of the bars at home, where she would sleep every night, her 'room' placed near her master's. It was completely different, however. Her previous cage meant food and shelter, while this one meant death.
The view welcoming her out of slumber was one of blood and gore. A crimson covered dragon passed by, lead victoriously to his cage and she scrunched up her nose as the smell of death reached her. By now, she would have gotten used to it but sadly, that wasn't the case. The lack of sunlight and the shortage of good food, she was okay with, she'd learn to treasure those privileges.
But the constant fights and death that encircled this coloseum were simply unbearable.
She shuffled around, leaning on the bars of the cell, and clawed at them as a boy with food in his hands passed. Her first priority was to get fed, of course.

The blue Chinese dragon was close to the arena, so she got to see every gory fight, and every new dragon. Deep Tide wondered how these humans managed to not extinguish her kind. With so many being killed each and every day, and very few chances of having children, how come they weren't dead yet? Why were they so populous they could be killed daily? Perhaps they weren't, and they would die out. Or perhaps there were places where dragons were bred to feed the need for them.
She watched the new, weak white one move around. Would she last? Most likely not, as she didn't even look like she could survive. Chances were, she would be pitted against another new one, or perhaps a middle-ranked dragon. Tide herself was a medium-high in wins. She took some pride in it, however disgusting that was. Her claws had killed so many of her own, and she hated it, but she didn't regret it.
She watched without interest as the feeders passed by. A chicken that had most likely been rotting for a couple days lay in her cage, untouched. If she could breathe fire, she could have enjoyed it more, but nope. She curled on the other side of her cage, still watching everything with bored attentiveness.

Both the blindfold and muzzle were taken off the second he was in the arena. Across the arena, a western dragon about the same size as him crouched. It was gold colored, with large leather wings. Red hot flame dribbled from the dragons mouth.

"Now into the arena, The Mesmerizing Nightmare and The Fiery Gold!"

Nightmare grinned at his new enemy, his fangs looking more malicious than ever as his dark flame spewed out. The fight began. Nightmare got up into his striking pose, and watched as the western dragon ran at him. Right before he was about to get hit, Nightmare used his strong tail to knock the dragon aside.

He flapped his large wings as he rose into the air, before diving at the western dragon that was just know starting to get up. Nightmare landed atop the other, before moving his head right in front of the golden dragon's snout. The western dragon, now caught in Nightmare's hypnotizing gaze, stopped struggling, and instead stared in terror.

His dark flame began to engulf the western dragons body as the golden dragon was slowly burned to death. As the battle finally came to an end, the smell of burning dragon flesh filled the air. Even a few of the spectators seemed disgusted at this. As the golden western dragon took it's final breath, men came into the arena to bring him back to his cage. His vision went dark as the blindfold was placed on him. Nightmare's mighty roars were also stopped by the metal muzzle placed around his snout.

The victor was forced out of the arena and led towards his cage.

Draken chuckled, "Or it just means you are getting stronger Scythe."
He then turned around to see a skinny white dragon, "You are Nalie, I presume?" he said, grinning. He then turned towards the victorious dragon and smiled as he could smell the odour of a burning dragon, "I always liked your technique Nightmare, I sometimes envy you."

Turning her neck lightly, the sharp-headed dragon looked at Draken, blinking in comprehension and letting go of the bars. She gave a nod, already familiar with the large dragon. He had been victoriously been lead to his cage more than once, she could guess by the small battle scars. Not only that, he struck her as an overally mischevous dragon.
"Yes, I am. Good morning Draken." Nalie greeted humbly, lowering her head. He gave off a dominative vibe and she couldn't help but feel inferior to him. She was a lot smaller as well, so she showed respect.

Some questions:
What is the season?
I'll assume the arena has high roof, correct?
I'll also assume the arena has something to keep the dragons from burning the audience.
How does the arena actually look, including the holding area?
Where is this place set in city-wise? Is it a trading area, the capitol, etc.

@nightmare
I think you called the "Fiery Gold" eastern and western.

Scythe chuckled, "Maybe that's it, either way this has become to easy." He told Draken before looking at the white dragoness that Draken was talking too. He knew she was new, and she didn't seem like much, he doubted she'd survive more than a couple rounds. He then lifted his head as he heard more victors. He saw Nightmare being put back in his cage and he managed to catch a glimpse of another dragon fighting in the arena at the moment. He then turned back to look at Nalie, "You new, kid?" He asked her, guessing he was probably older than her.

@meixiaotian Season? I guess spring. o3o
The arena is like a colosseum, so it has no roof. 😋 But now that you mention it, it has some magical barrier that stops dragons fro escaping.
Yes, it does. xD Another magical barrier! But it only protect magic, so the audience can still hear and see the battle and vice-versa.
It's like a big stadium, like a roman colosseum. xD Made of rock, the center is empty so dragons can fight. And there are seats all around it. Under some seats, there are tunnels that led into the arena, where the dragons come from. And there are also the cages there. 😸
The city is mainly the capitol, because this dragon fighting business costs a lot.

Draken chuckled and looked at Nalie, "Good morning to you too." he said, smiling, "And don't try to show too much respect towards me. Perhaps I am stronger, but I've seen small dragons like you win battles. It's not always the force who can fight, but also the smarts. And smarts combined with force can make a very deadly opponent." he said, turning towards Scythe and nodding at him.

Turning to the other dragon, this one covered in crimson scales, Nalie lightly frowned at first, the color reminding her of blood. For a moment, she did mistake it for such.
"No." she lightly chuckled, pulling a small half-hearted smile. She wasn't overly popular and therefore widely unknown. "I just like to keep a low profile." she answered curtly, respectfully bowing to him too. Draken seemed more frightening than him, what with the skull-like head and all, but Scythe had a lot more scars. He was experienced too.
"I'm too weak to be let into the arena too frequently."
Turning back to Draken, she frowned again, this time with a smile.
"I do have intelligence needed, but against a brute attack, a sharp mind is seldom stronger. I have won only two fights for the two months I've been here. You overestimate me..." she finished queitly.

Scythe nodded, looking at the young dragoness, "You better eat every bit of food you can, you have to get bigger cause as you advance, brute strength is your best friend." He murmured, changing his gaze to Draken, "Ain't that right, Draken? Smarts are good in all, but unless you have some strength you aren't gonna get far in here. Also, watch how some of the more experienced dragons kill you can learn a thing or two." He told her.

@chapus2009 Okay, thanks.

Deep Tide's eye watched as two wyrms went at each other. They couldn't fly, and so they basically crawled around, breathing fire at each other. She didn't know how the last dragon burned, most likely bad scales, but these ones didn't. She shook her mane as the victor was lead in, looking horrified. He was an interesting orange-brown color, and this was most likely his first fight. He would have plenty more to come.
She looked across the arena, which was being cleaned for a bit, to another tunnel into a holding area. There were her children, but they only saw each other when in the arena, since they were two years old, and old enough to fight. She felt like crying out for them. It all hurt so much. Everything in this place. She wanted to escape. She wanted to fly free of any enchantments, pushing the clouds over a forest with her family. She wanted to be proud in her race, and their power. Yet here, they all were, powerless against these weak, unscaled creatures, with no feeling.

@hedwig68 @jupiter_hollow @meixiaotian Welcome. 😸

Draken then looked at Nalie, "I saw you staring at my skull. It's actually the skull of one of my first victories. I was very young at the time and I fought against a dragon almost three times my size. The battle lasted over 45 minutes, but I won. And today I wear his skull." he laughed, grinning as he turned towards Scythe, "You have a point, but all force isn't the best. Reckless dragons can easily lose against smart dragons, unless the smart ones get unlucky."

At the two bickering forces, Nalie chuckled again, this time as quietly as possible. She feared Scythe hearing, since the dragon seemed to take pride in his strenght and Draken was proving him wrong currently.
"If there is one thing I have learned, it is that the opponent can be merciless, but the crowd - merciful. Clawing out a skull is one way to put fighting for survival, refusing to fight is one way to put being a weakling. I dislike fighting, but I do what I have to. You do too. I see no need to change, neither force myself to watch my kin die. I fight until I die, it doesn't sound that bad, don't you agree?" she smiled wider this time.

Scythe shrugged, "Yeah, but if you over think things, you're dead, its simple like that. Thinking can get you killed." He told Draken and then looked at Nalie, "Yes, you are right about that. However, the humans don't realize what's coming to them. They are slowly making us dragons more powerful, one day we'll be so powerful that we'll destroy their puny race and take back what is ours'. Just wait." He murmured, half to them and half to himself, he seemed confident.

Once Nightmare was back in his cage, he curled himself up like a rope, and set his finned head on his body. His crimson gaze watched as the dragons in the room chatted with one another. Sometimes about fighting, of escaping, and sometimes of wanting to dye. His forked tongue slid out of his mouth as he saw the plate of meat that was left in front of him. The dragon opened his jaws and chomped on the meat, swallowing the whole thing in one bite.

Nodding lightly at both dragons, Nalie settled comfortably ont he ground near the bars of her cell and leaned her pointy head on it. She blinked thoughtfully.
"Has anyone escaped?" she wondered quietly, expecting most proabbyl a negative answer. "Has anyone goten past those magical barriers, flyed free? Gotten out alive?"

Storm ignored the other dragon's growl to her. Maybe he was right; but Storm didn't need to doubt herself anymore than she already did. Not bothering to lick the blood the blood away, she curled up again and waited for food. She heard the other dragons conversing, but paid no mind to their words. A dish with a couple raw goat legs were brought; they were stringy and tasteless, but Storm didn't want to starve, so she quietly snapped up her meal--bone and all.

Nightmare's cold voice slithered into the conversation. "Well, I don't know." he said. "Maybe one or two have escaped, but for what? They'll only be captured once again, or die in the wild. Where would they live? Survive?" He set his head back on his body as he waited for a response.
