Sorry if already posted.

I want to suggest a way to delete threads.

Enough said. 😊

Opinions?

I was actually debating on this..... Say, if it was a roleplay, and the original creator was mad or something, and wanted to delete the thread, but the roleplayers didn't..... It would be.... Nevermind. xD

Still, there are old threads that have closed and just fill up the forums. /:

I already made something like this. Ian said no, if someone did somewhat bad or whatever and someone deleted the thread, the person goes free, no stress worries because someone or whoever deleted the thread.

So old threads are going to clog up the forums? Wonderful 😋

Or how about a way to delete posts? 0_o I know they're still in the database if you delete them, and you can take screenshots if someone abuses the forums, but maybe just removing them? XD

Other places lock threads not sure if that's an option you all want to think about

Maybe if no one has posted in 30 days, it would be deleted? But then annoying users would go around and post in the old ones. >_<

Locking threads doesn't do much.

But why do why need to delete threads...?

Because some of them we don't need anymore, especially the locked ones. They just clog up the forums.

It kind of keeps a nice archive of Egg Cave over the years, I suppose. I wouldn't necessarily call it clogging.

It can slow down the server though with unneeded threads.

I'd delete dead never ever really posted in ever ever posted in forums.
Those are the ones that clog up space.

@cafe

I doubt anyone does though. I think if the thread is old and not posted in they should be deleted.

Wow, old thread.

As of September 11, 2011, Ian has decided to hire moderators. I'm sure once the new moderators are hired they will be able to delete topics and posts if requested. 😊
