I'd imagine that the Whoon population would be booming right now due to the lack of natural predators since yesterday.

I like having them go endangered. It makes room for all the new creatures to be released and gives them a tad more value. I just wish they did it more often. Like maybe once a month one creature became endangered. Cuz then we would have the 2 monthlies to keep the cave stocked

Haha, yea. My first critter was a Chimera, which I froze in first stage, immortalized, and tucked away. xD

You can't just make too many creatures endangered like once a month xD Poor for them. Retire would be a more appropriate word I think? Like, some creatures need to be retired STAT!

I'd say either Garguaiths, Flors, or Salaslykes will be on the chopping block next. They are the oldest creatures available (except the Calla) after all.

Well, I have 18 all together of the new retired critters. They're mostly Krahs, I didn't save many Unhemn, despite the fact that I liked them a lot! One of my Krahs is a STAR critter though. I have no idea where all my STARs came from!! Not from the cove, that's for sure! I've only gotten 2 STARs from there. 😉

Ian should've retired some critters I have more of, like the Sparktail or Rosse! 😃

@sony - While I think it's interesting when a species becomes endangered, I just want to take a moment to say that this recent retiring of the Chimera has put a lot of stress on me because I also run @the_cattery - I collect any feline species, raise them until they hatch, and then adopt them out for a small adoption fee to help keep the kitties fed. Hardly anyone ever asked for creatures before I put them in the trade center, and as you would guess, immediately after yesterday's blog post about the Chimera becoming endangered, I've had people all over them. So I had to change the rules of adopting LEs and say I won't adopt them out until they are immortal. I feel this is a fair decision. I only hope this doesn't somehow cause any arguing.. though I guess they'll just have to deal with it. But yeah. Not happy about everyone swarming to my side account asking for everything now, but I guess that's what happens. AND this is the purpose of having an adoption center, isn't it? I'm still raising EC and unloved commons, so I guess that's all that matters.

PS: Not really complaining, I just wanted to take the opportunity to vent. 😋

But yeah, it's great that you've had so many LEs xD While I have none, I've never had any star creatures from the cave xD The one on my account was a gift =3

@thursdays_dove Aww, that's horrible to hear, I don't really like the new 3 endangered species xD I wouldn't be too desired to get them anyway. Perhaps you should lock up all the stuffs that links to your feline accounts, that way, people would have a hard time tracking it, and you can raise the creatures without being bothered, then AFTER they become immortal, you can just advertise them again 😉
It's a fair decision for me anyway! I don't have a big enough heart to do what you do though ☹️ So what you're doing is admirable, keeping unloved commons =D

I've been expecting some endangered cave critters ever since the macaws were endangered, and especially after they started coming out with so many new cave critters. It was bound to happen.

So, I've started a side account that I use just to collect my favorite cave creatures 😊 I'm really excited about the maser, and I have 22 frices and several honks.

Also, as immortalraven said, its a good idea to collect any kind of creature if it's a star, even one you would never normally take from the cave (like my star mekii. I really don't like mekii's).

Only problem is, I'm a bit of a hoarder and I like a lot of critters, so I'm starting to have to many creatures, but I can't get rid of any of them!

Agreed, there should be more endangered species, however, as many of ideas have said, there should be a notified before they went all unavailable at the cave.

Mhmm, I see, but the point is, I've never really had any creatures with the Star from the cave ☹️ It's being really mean to me, but I'm sure when the opportunity comes, I'll grab it. Also, I've been desperately waiting for a Nipha and a Floicol from the cave but still nothing x-( It's just frustrating, it keeps giving out creatures I don't really like.

Haha! As long as you love those creatures, my friend, there wouldn't be a problem with that =D
