this is my first creature suggestion I hope you like it

Roloc eggs are very dusty and fragile, but beware! If you swallow any of the dust, you may be poisoned with the noxious cells on the eggshell. The creature inside does not want to harm any being, so it uses large, irritating sounds to fend off creatures, using its antennae.

If you hear an annoying screech nearby, do not be alarmed. It's only a Roloc egg!

Roloc are beautiful insects that gracefully flutter around Ark. Attracted to almost any flower, especially Rosse, they may be pesky to most residents that want their flowers insect-free. Yet, ironically, Rosse have been proven to not mind Roloc sipping nectar from their flowers. In fact, Rosse rather like it. Its almost like a bath!

Roloc's wings are actually dusty and poisonous, just like their eggs. Actually, the eggs get the powder from the mother Roloc's wings rubbing off of their wings and onto their egg.

The description and idea is nice, but EC already has a butterfly-like creature, and I think you should make a caterpillar and chrysalis stage too.

I'm kind of neutral to this one... but it's nice to see that someone's doing a butterfly. 😸

@autumnh Ah. I hope you accept constructive criticisms. If you don't, then please don't read the following block of text below. >.<

It's pretty average to my eyes. Most of the creatures in Egg Cave have unique characteristics. They make it easy to distinguish one creature from another. We're also aiming for a sprinkle of fantasy here. Your drawing is out of the ordinary, but it isn't enough to reach the level of what we can describe as "extraordinary". The base is too plain, and not having more stages doesn't help. The evolution looks more like an ordinary butterfly, since there are a lot of species of them. I know that the base topic of your work is about a colorful creature, but you have to have a twist to it. Try adding fairy-like wings. Intricate designs on the wings. Different antennae or whatever you call them. A new body structure. Or a creature with butterfly wings and antennae with the body of a dog or anything of the like.

I hope you don't misunderstand! I don't hate your work. I do not intend to sound harsh. I can see your effort and passion on creating the Roloc. I do wish you the best. Good luck and good job on drawing!

Quite frankly, it's just an average butterfly. And crayon makes it look like a 5-year-old drew it.

@vongola_no_honou - i tried to make a bird failed tried a winged dog failed an tried to design the wings failed i didn't test my luck on another stage and the only butterfly i can think of is the savarab and its differnt colored or the odon witch is colorful but a dragonfly so it is differnt 😊

@autumnh Did you try drawing shapes first? It helps a lot. For example, make three circles then erase the one in the middle, connect the remaining circles by adding a slight straight line on top and a slightly curved line below and you have a body! I hope you understood. I'm not good in explaining. Ahaha. You can also use references by looking up a few pictures in the net. But don't copy almost all of the basic structure of the picture you're observing, or else you may be accused of plagiarism or tracing.
