"Mmm, dorm number 2." Delilah said. "I didn't get a dorm-mate." she muttered.

"Oh well. More space for me, I guess. What dorm did you get?" Delilah asked, opening the big door to the gymnasium. "Gee, this is heavy!" she said, pulling it with all her might and still being unable to open it.

Hansen rolled his eyes. "I'm Hansen. So yeah. And by the way, I do like gymnastics. Its not just for girls." He said, with a michevious sme. "Now come on!" He said, as he walked with Scarlet behind him to the gymnastics room. When they got there, there was a girl trying to open the doors. Hansen went to the door and opened it for her.

"I am in dorm 13 and I am alone too." He replied.

Ryo watched her try to open the large door, seeing she was struggling terribly to get it open.

"No probs." Hansen said. He walked around the perimeter of the room, cautious.

Ryo followed after Hansen, standing near the center of the room. He kept a watchful eye on Delilah, trying hard not to let his eyes and mind wander the cool-looking room.

"I wonder where the teacher is..." He mumbled to himself, looking around the room for anyone other than them.

Vanessa walked about. "AMAZE!" She shrieked. First outdoor activity. She turned to Jace. "Look like your having a popular time with the girls, " she nodded, "Up for a challenge against me on Archery?" She looked at the girls, and the girls moved back. "You might have the look, but it doesn't mean you got the strength," Vanessa replied.

Sorry if I'm slow in responding- something's wrong with the neighborhood telephone pole. :/

Looking around, the archery field was pretty impressive. With its polished lawn and brand-new targets, it put anything else to shame. After all, this was a school for royalty.
"I always have a good time with the girls," Jace said, grinning and waving at a few. "And they have a good time with me."
Jace narrowed his eyes. He could easily beat anyone here. But of course, you couldn't just show off your skills like that- he wasn't the royal one here. And still- was showing off part of princess etiquette?
"I don't fight girls," Jace said plainly. "Sorry."

Cynthia smiled. "Aha," she said. "The ever-illusive bodyguard. I was wondering when you'd show up." Cynthia got up, picking up her stuff. "I guess we'll be late for the next class then.." she muttered, zipping up a pouch full of stationary.
"No matter," Cynthia said with a grin. "It's just like old times. Fooling around was fun with five brothers. I'm Cynthia, although you probably know that already," the princess in qyestion stuck out her hand. "I also respond to Cyn, and Thia. Nice to meet you, Zack."

@marinalily - I certainly hope nothing too terrible is going on over there! ^^; @tralala22 @fluffamun - I have nothing to do with Ryo at the moment, so... |D @yellowgrapefruit @quillbunny
--

Zack took Cynthia's outstretched hand with his own, his fingers gently holding the tips of her fingers. He leaned down, his free arm going behind the middle of his back, and placed a small kiss on the top of her hand with his soft lips.

He stretched himself back up to a standing position and let go of her hand just as gently has he took it. He smiled. "To you as well, Thia."

His gray eyes watched her reaction to what had just happened. Most princesses either would freak out at something like that or would be so tongue twisted they couldn't speak. He had to admit, sometimes it was amusing to watch.

She did make a point before though. They were already terribly late to the sport of their choice, so he should probably escort her to either one before it was too late.

"So, which class are you going to be late to? Archery or Gymnastics?" He asked her, then added, "I recommend Archery, only because Mr. Firch isn't as strict as the Gymnastics teacher here. And well, I'm not really a gymnastics type guy."

@tralala22 @kurochi-akuma If by terrible you mean no wi-fi for long periods of time, then yes. It is very terrible. :'D @fluffamun @dramatic @yellowgrapefruit @quillbunny

Just who the heck was this guy? Sure- she'd had her brothers practice their "charm" on her jokingly, and had numbers of nobles far too old for her do the same, but really, at least they were of rank, or that the only reason to be embarrassed was that Cynthia would never end up with any of them.

Withdrawing her hand with a cocked eyebrow, Cynthia inspected it, stalling to regain her composure. Although she had no idea how good she was at that. Zack was probably laughing inside at her right that instant.

"Hmm," Cynthia said, pretending to ponder. "I guess archery would be the better choice then for both reasons, but you said you're not a gymnastics kind of guy, maybe we should head over there..." Thia trailed off, grinning deviously. She laughed. "No, I'm kidding. I don't really like gymnastics either. Archery it is."

@marinalily - Aw, that bites! :c @tralala22 @fluffamun @quillbunny @yellowgrapefruit

He wasn't laughing on the inside like she had expected. Sure, it was fun to watch her reaction to it, but the same "joke" had gotten old for him. It wasn't as much as a joke anymore as it was a kind gesture he was supposed to do with every person of royalty.

Since he was here for a few months prior to the new princess and bodyguard arrivals, he had learned a thing or two around the school. He knew which teachers were to be avoided and where the best places were if you wanted a quick nap between classes, but he never exactly had an experience with a princess partner himself...until now.

He just followed what he was taught when he was around her. "You most be proper, quiet, professional! When the lady asks you to do something, do it without question. And above all, protect her with your life." They said, but was it really that simple? He figured he'd find out soon enough...

He laughed lightly at her joke, "Good. You didn't really seem like the gymnastic type to me, either."

He led the way out of Ms. Quailfeather's homeroom, holding the door open for Cynthia on the way out. "Archery is to the right in the outside field, through the double glass doors at the end of the hall there."

He shut the door behind him when Cynthia left the room, and continue, "I guess I can be your bodyguard and your personal tour guide for now. I know pretty well where everything is in this place."

Cynthia wavered for a second. Why was he being so formal? Was she doing something wrong? Cynthia quickly replayed their meeting in her mind. Nothing out of the ordinary, as far as the princess knew. Frowning lightly, Cynthia pondered that for a second- but it was probably just his training. She shouldn't have been expecting an instant-friend.

"End of te hall, through the doors- got it," Cynthia said brightly, going through the held-open door feeling a bit awkward. As a younger princess, she had always been used to doing things herself- servants were for when she was a bit older when she could properly attend parties and events.

Cynthia cocked her head. "Well, you can be just that if that's what you want," she said. "Although I am a bit curious on how you know this place so well," she added as an afterthought.

Zack walked next to her towards Archery class, placing his hands in his pockets as he did. "I came here a semester before you and your group did. I didn't get paired with a princess right away, because of- well, let's just say reasons, and so I had to attend classes here on my own. It didn't take long for me to learn about this place. It's your first day here, so it may take awhile for you to get the hang of things, so luckily you have me around to help you." He replied in a calm voice.

He didn't want to reveal too much, at least not yet.

His eyes looked down at her next to him and he asked, "You don't really seem like one of those toffs I usually see in here. You said you had five brothers, right? Are you a tomboy and that's why you're here?"

He almost regretted saying that much. He was probably prying too much into her person life, which was a big "no-no" in guard etiquette. But why should he care? No one was around to hear or scold him...

Zack stopped in front of the double glass doors, waiting for her response before he opened them up.

Cynthia unconciously smoothed her ruffled clothes as she walked alongside Zack, trying to find something to do with her hands while she walked. The hallways were quite ornate for a school- Cynthia could only imagine what the rest of it was like.

She laughed quietly. "I am lucky indeed," she said. Inside, she was suspicious of his "reasons". What did he do that was so bad that they didn't allow him to be with a princess? Even the arrogant guard that was with the princess that liked sports was a guard, and he probably had the morals of a rock.

"Hmm," Cynthia said and cocked her head innocently. "Are you allowed to be asking about my life?" She grinned down at her feet. "Well," she said. "I don't mind. You can talk freely if you want to, I mean how much worse could it get, I've already been through five older brothers."

"On the topic of them and my life though," Cynthia said. "I guess you could call me a tomboy. I mean- ever since I was little I can remember going on horse rides or being fed bugs." She smiled fondly at the memories. "I was always told they adored me. But really, being with a family like that made sure that I had to learn all the girl stuff that I was supposed to be doing myself, at around that time of growing up when I wanted to be 'beautiful'." She paused for a bit. "And my mother and father were always busy, so usually I was alone with my girl troubles. Now that I think about it, I could have always asked a maid and saved myself the trouble of poking my eyes with eyeliner, but that had never occurred to me before." Cynthia shook her head remorsefully, smiling at herself sadly. "So now I know a lot about being a proper girl and all, but I also know a lot about being... tomboy-ish." She shrugged. "Jack of all trades, I guess."

Angle day dreamed through Mrs. Graythorne's speech, didn't pay attention to anything anyone said in Mr. Filch's class and didn't bother to speak at all. Enrolling in the school in this first place was something she had given little to no thought at all. Nobody cared or noticed her back home, she was a third wheel. Why shouldn't school be any different? Even her body-guard didn't care to show up.
The young, rejected princess studied the schedule closely, planning out a calendar in her mind. Today, she decided, would be doing archery since Angel was pretty good at it and never tried gymnastics in all her life and couldn't bear to make a scene if she messed up. She rushed to met up with the group of young princesses going to the archery field.

From a distance Cecily could see a princess running towards her group. When she arrived Cecily started to smile and think to herself. "A new girl I haven't seen. Hopefully she likes to read. But........No.... Stop thinking about that, she can't know my secret. Nobody knows except for those who were there."
Then Cecily starts to walk up to the girl.

He listened to her story and actually learned a lot about her as a person. She wasn't at all like some of the snobs he was around in school and he kind of liked her that way. He could at least relate then...He never really was good at talking with the preps in the school. Perhaps that's why he was paired up with her.

"Interesting way to put it." Zack said when she finished, opening up the glass door for Cynthia to walk through.

He saw that a princess in the distance was running towards the double doors. She didn't have a bodyguard by her side, which was an odd sight in this school and she seemed a bit...lost.

Zack waited and held the door open for the other princess.

Angel sped towards the field door, almost tripping on her dress/oh, the reminds me, do we have uniforms? @fluffamun /. She pulled short of another princess her age who detached from the small group of girls. Angel awkwardly gave a small jerk of the head and breathed "Hi." She tried to act formal and keep her cool. The princess smiled a thanks to the polite guard who was holding the door, secretly wondering her guard would've maybe done the same, at the very least, shown up.

Cynthia laughed shortly. "Huh," she said. "Interesting was never what I thought it was, but I can accept that." She shrugged. Maybe she was interesting, but was that good interesting or bad interesting?

"But don't forget," she laughed, waggling a finger. "I can act like those rich snobs whenever I want, so you better behave." It was true- years of practice and copying had perfected her etiquette. She could go through the whole day without messing up her spoon choice once.

Walking through the door with a grin, she stopped to wait for Zack, but seeing as he wasn't moving, Cynthia followed his gaze to the princess that was running towards the door and gave a small wave.

"Oh come on. Jaaaace. Even sounds popular." Vanessa did Jace's smirk. "Racing with girls aren't that bad! Maybe they're stronger than you." Vanessa looked at the girls Jace was flirting with and winked. They moved back once again. One of them murmured, "Ugh. Poor Jace. Should've gotten a princess like me, and not her. She not even a princess." They grinned. Vanessa frowned. But she kept her energetic personality. "So?"

Jace frowned at the retreating girls, then smiled sadly. Vanessa was scaring them. No matter- at least she was interesting.. and... different. A challenge. Jace grinned wolfishly.

Hearing their last comments, he frowned again. "Are real princesses supposed to be doing that?" He muttered, half to himself.

Jace smirked. "Ah, you're so direct!" He laughed, but sobered up quickly. He narrowed his eyes. "I don't fight girls." He wasn't going to change his mind, if that was what she was trying to get at.

@Jennifer sorry about the bodyguard thing. he is coming now.

Grant had fallen asleep during Ms. Graythorne's speech and had just woken up. 'Dang the princess I am supposed to be protecting is probably lost and I am so not living up to my nickname right now' Grant thought as he got up and ran in the hall and tried to find his princess. 'She probably thinks I am a jerk' Grant thought as he looked the sheet he was given to find his princess. He looked at the name and imprinted it into his brain well her nickname at least. 'Angel that is a great nickname and a beautiful one too' he thought. Then he remembered the princesses had a choice of Archery or Gymnastics. 'Dang-et' he thought as he looked for the class closet to him. "Archery it is" Grant said to himself. As he got closer he saw a princess by herself. "That has to be her" He said to himself as he began to walk towards her. "Hello I am Grant. Your bodyguard. I know I was late and I am sorry but I will make it up to you and that's a promise" Grant said with an apologetic smile.

Vanessa looked around, embarrassed. 'Princesses can't do anything!' She thought aloud. The other princesses looked at Vanessa and smirked. "Ha..she's not a princess." Vanessa heard that and ran forward. 'I don't care what they say. They are all jerks. She frowned, and joined the teacher as he started speaking. Crying in the inside, she looked at Jace. "Why, why, why would I have a bodyguard like that? Why wasn't I interested in him? In love wise? Everyone is. Why am I different?" She thought aloud. Only Jace heard.

I don't think anyone has on uniforms yet...except Zack.
--

Ryo stood on the sidelines with Hansen and watched the teacher teach the two princesses gymnastics. The rest of the class seemed to have gone off to archery, because it was the more popular sport of choice. It was good though, because it allowed for Delilah and Scarlet to have a one-on-one session.

The teacher helped Delilah on the balancing beam and called over Ryo. She asked if he ever did gymnastics before and he replied with a simple, "No, ma'am." She smiled at his response and led him to the soft blue mats.

"I would like you to practice some cart wheels here. Can you do that? What you're going to do is- hands up, legs out, and lean forward with enough momentum," She did a perfect cart wheel, "To do that!"

Ryo eyed her, wondering if she seriously expected him, a male, to do that. His apprehensiveness must've been showing, because she added, "Come on! Boys can do gymnastics too, you know. You can't stand around in my class and just let your princess take this class!"

"Uh...yes, ma'am." He said, laughing off his embarrassment.

He sucked in all the pride he could managed and decided to do it, despite not wanting to.
--

Zack went to close the door after the princess, seeing another bodyguard running up the halls after his princess. He didn't bother to hold the door open, since it wasn't anyone of great royalty. He walked outside where the archery class was, causing the door to slam in Grant's face.

"I wouldn't put it past you, Miss Jack of all Trades!" He lied, smiling as he walked over to Cynthia. He wasn't completely convinced that she had all these wonderful abilities. Women, especially girls, weren't all that powerful. I mean, that's why they had bodyguards, right? He didn't bother to think about it anymore, turning his attention to the class.

He could see many students practicing shooting targets and a lot of them getting a bullseye each hit. 'Naturals?' He thought to himself.

"Want to try?" He asked Cynthia.

Jace watched his princess break down with crossed arms and an unreadable expression on his face, then sighed. "I think you've made your point quite clear, girls," Jace said, giving them a lopsided smile. "Isn't it time to start with the class?" He gestured to the empty standing points for the archers that had been vacated by the princesses.

Following Vanessa back towards the teacher, Jace frowned at his princess, hearing her comments to herself. "That's a lot of questions, princess," Jace smirked. "But really, I can't answer them for you. Just know," Jace reached out and fingered a lock of her hair, twirling it then putting it down again. "Everyone falls in love with me sooner or later."

------

Starting to walk now that Zack had finished holding the door and slamming it in some poor bodyguards face, Cynthia grimaced. That didn't look pleasant. Looking away, the princess surveyed the field, watching as it seemed that many of the students were indeed very good at the sport.
"Whatever you say," Cynthia said, smiling. "Although that nickname does not befit Her Highness."

Being offered a chance to try, Cynthia picked up a bow and a bucket full of arrows, lugging it with both hands to a place where she could shoot. "I feel like I'm going to be put to shame on the one sport I was never allowed to do," Cynthia said, laughing. "Well, that and fencing. Overprotective siblings and their womanly stereotypes- no violent sports for me until now." She grinned at the target in the distance, then frowned at the materials she had to use.
