"Lighten up," she said, patting her bodyguard's shoulder. "We're friends, aren't we?""Wait-" Cynthia heard Excal's comment, and looked down upon herself. "Am I dirty? Really?" She patted down her clothes and surveyed her hands. She didn't look dirty. Was Zack really that concerned about her cleanliness?"Weeelll," Cynthia stretched the word, pondering her options. She could go, and be proper and wash her hands, or stay with her newfound friends. "Am I really dirty? I don't think I am. Excal doesn't think I am," she observed. Cynthia mock-gasped. "You totally don't want me here. I knew it."

@starperson101 - I just like describing a lot of stuff, I don't know why. lol @marinalily - I normally do that, but I am knitting while stalking on eggcave, so I temporally forgot to do so~ --"Yea, you hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what I want." Zack said sarcastically to both of their assumptions. His voice sounding low and annoyed. "Excuse me for asking. Jeeze, girls can be vicious when they're together..." He laughed, walking ahead of them towards the direction the dining hall was in. He didn't want to be in the position of getting teased by the both of them all the way there, so he decided to put some distance between them and him and hoped they would talk amongst themselves. This was no longer fun for him. He wanted to skip the next class, but he knew he would get scolded by either Cynthia or the teachers. 'Talk about feeling trapped.' He thought, sighing out-loud. 'Just got to make it through the semester and make them think that your the best student ever...'At least he had food to look forward to and this thinking and "princess sitting" was making him hungry. He walked up to the dining hall doors, opening them up and holding the door for the princesses yet again. "Here we are." He said.

She never really did have a female friend back then, because she was usually with her brothers all the time, and there were no other nobilities, princesses, or people that were deemed "worthy" to play with her back home. Cynthia kind of liked the feeling of having a friend that was a girl. It was... different, that was for sure.While Cynthia had been thinking, she looked ahead of her, expecting to find Zack a few paces away, but instead found him farther than expected. Cynthia laughed quietly. "We did a fine job of irritating him," she observed lamely.Reaching the door, Cynthia peeked through at the already-active dining hall. Food was everywhere, with finely-dressed servers and fancy silverware and all. "Maybe I'm hungry after all," Cynthia muttered.

"I respect my friends more than that, no matter how tempting the offer is.""And believe me, it is tempting," she laughed.The princess rolled the thought around her head. Were they really friends, anyways? But she wasn't going to do that, no matter. He was the first person she had talked to besides the girl who liked sports and the teacher. Cynthia wouldn't do that. Plus, she knew that boys could be... weird sometimes.

@marinalily - *highfives* @starperson101 - Your RP seems like an interesting idea, but I'm in too many RPs at the moment... D':--Zack closed the door after they walked inside the dining hall. The room was filled with round tables covered with white tablecloths and several cushioned chairs around them. The table was set with plates, bowls, and silverware, with fabric napkins folded upright on the plates. There was a pitcher of ice water and a pitcher of hot tea on the table and several different shaped glasses near each plate. Last but not least, a center piece of handcrafted flowers in a vase sat in the very center of each table.Zack followed the princesses to where they were going to sit, pulling out the chairs for them, and looking over at the waiters and waitresses for some service. A female waitress came over and asked the princesses, "What would you like to have today, ladies?" Feeling like things were taken care of by the waitress, Zack went ahead and took a plate off the same table they all were sitting at and headed for the buffet. The waiters/waitresses were to only serve the princesses of royalty, while the bodyguards had to get up and get their own food. A difference in social class he always assumed. He didn't mind though, at least he didn't have to wait for it and could pick out what he wanted. He took two roast beef sandwiches on asiago bread and pour himself a cup of chicken noodle soup. When he got back to the table the waitress was serving the princesses what they asked for and pouring their drinks for them. He set his plate down in the seat next to Cynthia, reaching over to pour himself a glass of water, and then sat down. "Man, I'm starved!" He said, grabbing his spoon in his left hand and taking a bite of his soup.

Ordering a mere salad, Cynthia glanced at Excal, ordering lots of curry, and had to restrain herself from wrinkling her nose in distaste. After all, the princess was her new friend."The salad, your Highness," Cynthia turned with a regal smile."Thank you," she said courteously, giving a nod. "That will be all."The server bowed then exited, and Cynthia sighed and threw her head in her hands. "Too. Much. Formality!" She groaned. She never had to do this much back home when her days were spent insulting her brothers and running around the castle shamelessly.Although that would've ended when she turned of age, anyways.Cynthia jerked out of her reverie when she heard another plonk down beside her. "Oh. Hey," she greeted her bodyguard. "Are you always hungry?" She asked.Lifting her head, she took a bite from her salad. "I have way too much to learn and too little patience. And energy," she added as an afterthought.

Excal starts shoveling food in her mouth, oviously not caring about manners at all. "I dont really care about formality. Its not like people wage wars over it or it hurts anyone or anything, so it shouldnt be too bad for someone to ignore it." she says simply.

@marinalily @starperson101 --Zack swallowed down the chicken and noodles in his mouth, before answering Cynthia's question, "No, but I didn't eat breakfast today, so I'm kind of running low on 'fuel'." He sat with the girls, careful not to prop his elbows up on the table or spill anything down his white dress shirt and dark gray vest. Cynthia began to complain about manners and formalities in the school."You better get used to it. They practically beat it into your head while you're here. Mrs. Frisch is...well...an old hag set in her ways and she teaches the etiquette around here. I tend to avoid her class, but she always seems to know where I am and drags me there before it starts." He sighed, apparently reliving old memories.

Certainly they would get sick from eating so much and so fast. Looking down at her meager salad, Cynthia picked out a crouton and ate it.Cynthia groaned again. "How in the world do you guys eat so much? You-" Cynthia pointed at Zack. "Eat like a boy. Understandable. But you," Cynthia pointed at Excal. "... Never mind. Classes are terrible. Look at what they've done to me. No wonder I was always ditching them at some point."Cynthia laughed at Excal's naive question. "My dear, dear Excal," she said poshly. "Etiquette is the formation of a princess. You must learn the skill to better serve your country-" Cynthia accentuated this with a dainty wave of her spoon. "And you must apply the correct formalities in whatever you do.""Stupid speech," Cynthia muttered, back to poking her salad dangerously, remembering the classes she had taken before she had learnt to skip with her brothers. Her teacher had always delivered the speech whenever anything had went wrong with her studies in the subject."We should ditch together sometime," Cynthia said, noting that Zack enjoyed missing classes as well. "It's no fun skipping alone."

She started dancing around like a goofbag ignoring her thoughts she had a minute ago. "Where is it? Canteen? Where?!" She looked around excitedly, and said goodbye to her teacher. She moonwalked to the canteen, making it hard for Jace to follow her... At all. 'Well, back to the thoughts,' she thought, trying to get serious again. 'We need to get this done with. Jace has to stop acting like a posh-man snob, and I have to get serious. Its time to tell the truth. She turned to Jace and took a deep breath. "Listen, things gotta change."

At the dining hall."Watching as Vanessa made a fool of herself, Jace grimaced inwardly amd walked slowly as to keep a distance from the girl. She sure was different from the others, that was certain. Well, apparently things had to change. What was that about, anyways? Jace was Jace, Vanessa was Vanessa. There really wasn't that much to it. Crossing his arms with a frown, Jace stopped in the hallway so that he could talk to the girl."Am I too much for you, Princess?" He said, smirking.

Angel cautiously stuttered. "We should go to lunch. Um... I'm really hungry- I mean, we're supposed to go to the cafeteria right now. Here, lemme see my schedule." She dug in her pocket, trying to find that little scrap of paper with all the time and classes on it. To her imediate surprise, it wasn't there.Angel recited the news to Grant. "Oh no, oh no. I lost it. It must've fallen out of my pocket." She desperately recalled all that happened and sighed. It probably fell out, and with her luck, was thrown away. 'What is lost, is lost.' "It doesn't matter; I can get a new one." A thought popped up inside her head. Grant was basically worthless at first so why not he make up for it now? Angel placed her hands on her hips, a grin on her face. "So, Mr. Grant, I'm sure that you are aware of the fact that bodyguards must assist their princesses in their power. I- you see, am a bit new here. I could require some help, if I may, to the cafeteria. Please lead the way."~~~Dern -someone- for throwing my schedule in the trash. XD

'Okay Grant you better start living up to your nickname now' Grant thought as he held the door for Angel.Shaun and Camille were having a blast with archery. "Well time to clean up princess and then its off to lunch." Shaun said as he put his and Camille's things back. "Well this was fun but I think I will like lunch better because I am starved" Camille exclaimed as she held her stomach as it growled. "Well me too so lets go" Shaun said as he began to walk towards the door. Then Shuan and Camille saw Grant. "Well hello buddy" Shaun said as he walked through the doorway. "Thank you" Camille said with a curtsy. Then she walked out the door after Shaun."Hello guys" Grant said as they walked through the door. "Those are my friends" Grant told Angel.

@jennifer @tralala22 @starperson101 @marinalily Sorry for late post, had to work today...and sorry if it's brief, I'm pretty tired and out of it...*crawls in hole to die*--Zack took a bite of his roast beef sandwich, chewing for a moment, before swallowing it down as fast as he put it in his mouth. He looked over at Cynthia. "I never took you for the 'skipping class' type." He said, a bit of a grin on his face. "But princess, you should really attend all your classes if you want to fit in with the royal and rich~" He cooed, leaning close to her, "But between you and me..." His voice went low into a whisper, "I think it would be fun to skip together sometime."He leaned back and took another bite of his sandwich, almost finished with his meal. He was low enough so that Cynthia could only hear, that way the waiters or other students wouldn't be angry with him or her. He didn't need anyone to think they were plotting anything.

"You probably never took me as a posh princess either," she said simply, taking a bite of her salad.The close proximity kind of irked the princess, but Cynthia waved it off. "I fit in just fine," she said. "I've heard it all already." She had heard it all, really, but who was going to stop her from missing classes anyways? She was the princess of her country- she could do what she wanted, thank you very much. In fact, if she really were that cold, she could sue one of her teachers for anything she wanted and they would be guilty whether they did it or not. That was the thing with power. Plus, she would have five princes backing her up. Speaking of five princes.."Crap!" Cynthia groaned. "I need to pen letters as well- to five people, no wait, mother and father would expect one too...""There goes my sleep," she muttered.Cynthia instantly brightened as a new idea formed in her head. "We're skipping," she announced quietly, so that they wouldn't be heard. "Today, after lunch. I need to write stuff. You can do... whatever you do."

As you can see, I'm the opposite of you." She smiled, hoping Jace would do the same. She looked into Jace's eyes, as he smirked. 'He was really not me.' She thought to herself as she stopped walking.

@tralala22 @marinalily @starperson101 --Zack eyed her, a bit surprised by her sudden interest in skipping class on the first day of school. "Hm, okay." He said, his words lingering slightly. In all honesty, he was happy that she wanted to skip English class. The teacher who taught that class was too nice. It made him sick listening to her go on and on about encouraging others around you to be "the best they could be", help a friend when they need help, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, and the list goes on. If the students in her class weren't teenagers, Zack was sure she would start bringing out the golden stars. In any case, it wasn't like they were skipping class completely. She had to write letters to her family, so technically it was still English. All in all, it worked out pretty nicely.He finished off his sandwich and soup, realizing how much of her salad was still left in her bowl. "Not hungry, huh?" He asked her, then added, "You were thinking too much again, weren't you?"

She crossed her fingers that she did it correctly and didin't look weird. It would be hard building a manageable reputation at this school. There were many other people of royalty here and many were older than Angel. An incorrect introduction on the first day might just be her downfall so Angel had to make friends- a lot of them.Apart from Grant, Angel didn't know too many bodyguards or princesses. So, she decided to stir up some chatter. "Did you guys have fun at archery? I had a blast. Camille, you were pretty good."Angel smiled enthusiasmly.

He didn't hit the target once" Camille laughed. "Well you kept distracting me when you kept hitting a bullseye." Shaun said blushing. "Yea right" Camille said as she slapped Shaun on the arm playfully. "Well do y'all want to head to lunch with us?" Shaun asked.When Angel walked through the door Grant closed it. "I would love to but it is up to my princess." Grant said as he came up to Angel's side.

"Oh my god! Smoked salmon!" Delilah rushed into the cafeteria after reading the small menu on her schedule. She quickly settled down as she knew Ms. Frisch would be there reigning her hurt if anyone slipped out of line. Delilah stretched out her back into perfect posture and walked on her tippy-toes. She held the ends of her uniform skirt and curtsied at the teachers. Delilah walked to go get some lunch quietly and carefully. Delilah sat down at a nearby table, nearly flopping on top of it after Mrs. Frisch looked away. @fluffamun --Ryo watched Delilah run off in the blink of an eye towards the food buffet and quickly ran after her to catch up. She made it about halfway towards the buffet, before she stopped, propped herself in a upright, lady-like position and walk calmly the rest of the way. He slowed down to match her speed and looked around the dining room to see many of the waiters and teachers staring at her and him. Delilah proceeded to get her smoked salmon lunch special with almost no apprehensiveness in her actions, while Ryo struggled to pick something to eat. He tried looking at all the different things they had to eat, but none really looked that appetizing. He didn't even know what half of them were! Timidly, he decided on the same dish as Delilah and followed her to a table. If she loved it so much, maybe he would too.He sat down next to her, hearing her grumble about something. "What is it that you hate doing?" He asked, a little bit confused.He sat at the edge of his chair like he did in homeroom, picking up his fork in his right hand and picked at the salmon on his plate. He grabbed a small piece on his fork, tasting it. As soon as he did, his face lit up like a little kid's. "Oh, it's good!" He exclaimed, taking another forkful and chowing it down.

Angel didn't have anything else to do, Shaun and Camille were extremely friendly and, besides, she was getting hungrier by the moment.Opening her mouth to say yes, Grant said something that made Angel feel self-conscious. She unsurely replied "Of course we can join them for lunch."

"Sorry I forgot no running and no annoying your bodyguard/best friend" Camille said with a laugh. "That's right" Shaun laughed. Then they laughed together as they walked into the lunch hall.Grant watched Camille run with Shaun behind her and smiled. 'I wish I was still as friendly and happy as she is' Grant thought referring to Camille. "Well after you princess Angel" Grant said.

Hope it's not too late. The new character is on the real forum.-----Vanessa shook her head. "No! I don't care!!! Who cares! Lets just let it roll, I don't care if--- if--- if you are different. I'm just UGHHH!!!" "Sorry. Jace, I'm just. Devastated... Surprised... I think I'll go to lunch." Walking to the canteen, she stopped and turned around. Seeing that Jace wasn't following her, she just carried on.
