But I think I was also running on coffee. I am/was very sleep-deprived in the last few days (sleep late, wake early!), making me reeeaaaallly weird. xD

/goes to edit/

EDIT: Wait- Infinity fell into the water...
Ash Ley is confused.

Yeah, and then he got out, and started talking to Shadow. The tree knew Shadow was friendly (just saying because you might be wondering why it didn't grab her), and everybody else was out of reach, so it grabbed Infinity when he got out of the water and started talking to Shadow. Does that clear it up? X3

Eryll was beyond hearing, curled up in her hollow below the roots of the tree. The dirt had sealed itself and she was safe in a pocket of the Earth. Unconsciously she began to dry herself off, using her healing magic, and suddenly her feathers were all back, all in their places. She knew not how long she stayed like that, but gradually her stress and fear decreased and she burrowed out from the underground.
Sunlight danced in her eyes, momentarily blinding her. Warm, summer air washed over her, filling her with a feeling of freedom.
Suddenly, Eryll realized that there was a dragon calling her name. She whipped around to face the source of the voice, only to find a dragon with a metal wing caught in the tree. To her horror, it appeared that the tree was trying to strangle him. A branch was slowly coiling around his throat, closing his air holes and tightening ever so slightly.
Fighting down panic, Eryll concentrated hard on her nature magic and gently pushed calm thoughts in the direction of the tree. Slightly it appeared to loosen its grip, allowing the dragon to breathe once more. Halfway to the dragon's head, the branch stopped moving gradually, ending a few inches below.
Eryll exhaled softly in relief, then began circling the tree to see what she could do. She didn't want to have to cut the branch, but you can't exactly un-grow things. Perhaps she could move the branches with her powers? She sat down and shut her eyes, concentrating on what she had to do. In her mind she held a perfect image of the scene before her. The branch was coiled around the dragons neck, and however loose it was, he was still unable to escape. It had a pretty tight grip on his body, and his legs were slightly splayed out, held firmly in the tree's grasp.
And in Erylanna's grasp was the life of the dragon.
Carefully, tenderly, Eryll felt around in her mind for the tip of the branch. Grabbing it, she began uncoiling it gently from the dragon's neck.
One false move could kill him.
Finally it was free of his neck, and by Eryll's powers was now in the shape of a dragon's head and neck. She moved on to the branch that held his body, and carefully began to do the same thing to that.
No sound breached her concentration.
Finally that branch had been removed, and it formed the shape of a dragon's sleek body, and had connected itself to the branch that was in the shape of a neck. Eryll moved on to the legs in her mind, carefully retracing their path.
She was utterly still; utterly silent.
Tenderly she unbound the dragon's wings, freeing them from the tree's treacherous grasp and allowing him to move his wings, though her magic was forcing him to stay perfectly still.
Her face was expressionless, her muscles still.
All that remained was the dragon's tail, which she unwound with hesitant precision. And she was finished. The dragon had been freed from the branches, and the tree now took the shape of a magnificent dragon, head raised proudly and wings unfurled. She supposed she hadn't had to create a masterpiece with the removed branches, but she supposed she might as well have done something worthwhile... besides saving another dragon, of course.
Eryll opened her eyes tentatively, as though making sure her magic hadn't failed her. It was just like in her mind! The dragon had been freed...
...only to fall from the height at which the tree had held him.
Eryll winced at the crash as he hit the ground.

"Um... Strange. I thought I saw a dragon here...? Well anyways." Dash climbed out of the water, making huge splashes. She looked to her right, and saw a huge tree. "That tree looks like it had some problems!" She thought, giggling. After that, she just went to her cave again. "Nice and cool... How I like it.😊"

Maris watched all the dragons as they struggled and all she wanted to do was help but she was a water dragon and how was she supposed to help on land. "Hiko I must be leaving now. Maybe we can do this tomorrow same spot. Sound good?" Maris didn't wait for an answer because she knew he might just come. Maris went to her seaweed bed and thought about how she could help the land folk.

@whitefire

Infinity breathed out a long sigh when he saw the dragon that was in the tree come out. This was turning more tiresome than the dragon had prefered for a brief excursion outside.

But still, the tree-dragon was about the only dragon that Infinity had seen move trees, so he guessed she was in charge of this one. And Infinity wanted out before he was strangled to death.

Watching the dragon circle around the tree with narrowed eyes, Infinity decided against rushing her. Her feathers seemed terribly ruffled as they were.

But what was Infinity supposed to do while he was waiting for the dragon to finish her work? He couldn't really just walk away, given the situation. And watching the dragon work -however interesting- would seem strange. Infinity sighed, instead glancing around at his surroundings, which consisted of the river where he had crashed into, and the forest.

Slowly, Infinity could begin to feel more movement and freedom of his body parts as the dragon continued with her work, but still, the tree-dragon's magic forced him to be still.

"Wait-" he called out, but it was too late, as Infinity fell down to the ground once more.

"Well, I would say thanks," Infinity grumbled. "But that was my second fall in a day. But thanks for saving my life." The dragon looked away, not used to saying such things.

"Er... Sorry about the fall... I've never had a dragon get caught in one of my trees before, much less had the tree trying to strangle one..."
Eryll, not much of a talker, sought desperately for something to make her apology something more real.
Finding a solution, she shut her eyes and, using her healing magic, gently closed the few scratches the tree had managed to make on the other dragon's scaly hide.
Once she had finished, she didn't know what else to do.
"Um..." she muttered, feeling her nerves building.

"For goodness sake!" Dash screamed, "I have no one to play with." She growled. She looked around and saw and apology coming. "Uh... Hi?" She smiled at the dragons (Eryll). "How ya doin?" She laughed, "The names Dash." She grinned, and stretched out her wings. "And you are?"

Shadow had slipped back into the shadows of the forest and was o serving the other dragons carefully. Such was her nature in some situations. The black dragon felt slightly bad about ending the sudden conversation started by the interesting mechanical dragon.... So she stepped out again and glanced at him with slight curiosity, knowing that asking about the wing would likely be cruel. So instead Shadow simply wondered if he'd say anything at all.

Infinity almost scoffed when she was apologizing, quietly berating himself for even letting himself get into a situation like this in the first place. Now everyone wanted to either apologize or talk to him or... something. And Infinity did not want to do any of that.

Sighing, Infinity at least felt a bit better when the scratches on his flank were healed.

"Apology accepted," Infinity said tonelessly. "And thank you once more."

Right after that second, another dragon came out of the bushes, introducing herself to the name of Dash. Infinity flinched. How many dragons were here, really?

When the dragon stretched her wings, Infinity watched with mixed distaste and fascination. The workings and unison of both, natural wings was always a source of jealousy and interest in the tinkerer, and Infinity wasted no chance to be able to see them work.

But still, the dragon was indeed terribly rude. In fact, she hadn't even acknowledged him.

Infinity frowned as yet another dragon came out of the bushes, although this time it was the dragon Infinity had been talking to earlier. And she was looking at his wing, which hung cradled to his side, broken and wet. Infinity wondered what was wrong with it this time.

More importantly, Infinity wondered why they were so curious about it. He had lost it, he had made another. And now he had to fix it as soon as he went back home.

Although Infinity supposed he owed at least the dragon who saved him a little bit of an explanation.

"I lost it," Infinity said gruffly. "And I made another." And that was all.

Shadow didn't really know what to say, but she gave a small nod. "It's quite fine work." She murmured, and losing her nerve around so many dragons, bolted into the air and flew towards her home in the dark woods.

"Er, hi, Dash," Eryll said, ears splayed back against her head as she recoiled from the other dragon's energy. "I'm Erylanna."
Turning to the dragon who had been talking to Shadow, she said, "If you wanted, I could probably fix your wing..."
Wait, what had she just said?! How was she supposed to do that? She had never regrown the body part of another dragon, much less a wing! Was it even possible? Well, the only way to know was if he agreed... But what if he agreed and it turned out she couldn't fix it?
'Oh well, it is what it is...'

I'm not feeling so well right now- (ugghh, my stomach) so sorry for the short posts. I'm trying to wait it out.

Infinity nodded back awkwardly at the other dragon before she just.. ran off. He didn't even know her name. Well, at least she had complimented his work. Infinity wasn't pleased about the breach of manners, but he knew that he would've done the same thing, if not for his wing getting in his way.

Infinity suddenly grimaced at the dragon -who he now knew was Erylanna- when she had suggested fixing his wing.

He had never really thought about it before, what with him living by himself without much talk with other dragons besides the occasional visitor, but Infinity could think about it now.

As much as he hated to admit it, the wing had become a stable part in Infinity's life. Never mind that it broke, or that it was continually an annoyance to the dragon. In fact, it was probably the only thing that was so predictable and yet surprising in Infinity's life.

"I'm sorry," Infinity said. "But I... I'm fine with what I have right now. And... I wouldn't want to risk anything else."

"But thank you," the dragon said, thanking Erylanna yet again.

Dash walked around Eryll. "Well hi!" She said, flapping her wings, "wanna go for a flight so we can talk?" She smiled, hoping that she had finally made a friend.

"Okay then," Eryll responded to the metal-winged dragon. "I respect your decision."
Then, turing to Dash, she nodded tentatively. "Sure, I guess... But I'm not a very good flyer yet..."
