New Beginnings

Plot:
The world has changed. The year 3000 is unlike any other: all life has been brainwashed and no one remembers who they were in the past. All they understand is that there is a government. The government rules with an iron hand, and they obey. No one has any sense of freedom, only to follow and obey. Prey and meat is scarce, only small traces of living animals wander the world, but no one can find any meat. The only items are provided by the government, so tragically, if the government was intercepted or blocked life would become extinct. People start school from when they are children to when they reach adulthood. They are sent to school to learn the history of what they know, which is only the beginning of 3000 to what they know now, biology to chemistry. Where do they get the supplies? No one knows except the people who supplied the items for school. To them, they think life is easy. They have to think again. When the younger ones grow older, the weak are sent to the Wastes, pieces of the world that have cracked over the years, and no place to support life. Either the weak perish in the Wastes, or they are welcomed back if they have survived over a year in the bitter land.

Or that's what they say. You are one of the newer ones, alive when the brainwashing started, and being brainwashed. Suddenly, you start to remember your past. Food, Family, friends. Those who are caught talking about the such things are caught, or mysteriously disappear.

She mostly wear tank tops and skirts but sometimes wears skinny jeans and a leather jacket instead - often experimenting with her image. Her mom died when she was 10, she got trapped under a collapsed burning building. This caused Rae to become deathly terrified of fire and goes a little crazy when near it.

Name: Fringillidae Larka "Finch"
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Description: He's quite well-built, but also lithe and fast on his feet despite the excess muscle mass. The weight is centered mainly around his chest, arms being slimmer, but still wired with muscle. He's partially of Roma heritage, the noticeable darker tint on his heavily tanned skin revealing him to be so. His face is a mix of incredibly soft and incredibly sharp features, a result of his roma father and white mother, from which he inherited his Jade Vine Turquoise eyes. Has a sharp nose and plump lips constantly pulled into a smile, eyes being round in shape, but sharpened at their edges, crinkling frequently as the boy laughs. He walks around mostly shirtless, to show off his nice physique and prides himself on his athlethic body. Unevenly cropped black hair, short sans the bangs hanging haphazardly over his left eye. Least that's what said bangs were originally meant for. Finch tends to tuck the strands behind his ear whenever they obscure his vision - despite the convenience of actually cutting his hair, he doesn't want to do it. He's mostly shirtless, like previously stated, or wearing a thin hoodie, but no shirts, since the cold doesn't phaze him in the long run. Further clothing includes baggy jeans and combat boots in which he stuffs the ends of said jeans.
Personality: Arrogant and self-centered to a fault despite his young age - a show off, who praises himself on his athletic body and handsome face. Flirtatious - obviously, which clashes severely with his refined inability to take critisism. He react to such singularly - starting an argument; but inwardly, he's extremely self conscious and attempts to change for the better no matter how fervently he protests against the words of others. Doesn't have the brain capacity for school knowledge, which baffles him, since he studies very hard on most subjects, but always fails. This enhances his competetive streak in every aspect of his life. Those are his visible characteristics, though there's a lot hidden on the inner side of him. Mainly confusion - doesn't know what to make of the foreign memories he receives, attempting his very best to piece them back together and make a whole picture, but ends up at a dead end since he's not very intelligent. He appears to know some street smarts - survival techniques and fighting moves. Begins to acquire some kindness and sympathy in the short run of remembering.
Other: (3000) I'll mostly roleplay out his history, but I'll summarize it here bit by bit as it goes. ^^

Shall we start? 😊 Anyway, the setting is basically in the school. There are guards in the school, blocking any entrance unless allowed. However, school is the only place with any so-called "freedom" people are allowed a free socializing hour in school after lunch. 😊 However, you are required to go to each class immediately. The free period is the only part of "freedom" everyone knows BESIDES any clothing.

You do Strength, then Durability. At the end of the week, Evaluations.

Mental:
Three Classes:
Chemistry/Alchemy
Mental Training (i.e testing willpower, reading etc)
Mental Evaluations! (end of week)
Kind of the same thing as physicals.

Lillyn walked into the Main Hall. It never looked so dull. She sighed and walked to her locker.
The school looked so small from the outside, but as soon as you walked in, it felt so big almost like the world. But of course, it must have been the fact that the world seemed so cramped, and so contained.
She set down her bag in the locker and glanced at the schedule. Physical Classes.
'Urg,' Lillyn thought. She hated Physical Class. It was so boring!
Lillyn swung her locker door shut, not caring of how much of a noise it made, and walked off to the Physical Hall.
She walked to the door and took hold of the doorknob. It didn't budge. Lillyn blinked, the doorknob only shook a little. She sighed and waited for someone else to come. The door was locked.

He waltzed in, metaphorically speaking.

While his step wasn't at all measured according to a rhythm, he differed greatly from the rest of the students with the elegant stride of his figure and his quirky smirk, not to mention the substantially darker skin. Still, despite being a dark spot in a hallway of white people, he looked perhaps the happiest of all.
Some of the guards eyed him strangely, and with reason. Most black sheep tended to be sneaky and... well. He chuckled, waving a greeting at the adults, before standing on his toes to look over the crowd gathering in front of a particular door in front of him.

Ah, which class was that?

"What's wrong darlings?" he hollered, voice resonating along the hallway. The sound jumped off the walls in a frenzy. He chuckled. This place had a wonderful echo.

Noticing the girls nearby, he tried to straighten his looks, though he knew he couldn't be helped.

He was a smiling mess, barefoot and bare-chested and apparently forgetting to give a crap about it. The thin hoodie he had sported until some time ago was tucked under his armpit, one hand occupied by the sneakers that he'd taken off just before starting class (it was quite warm outside, he hadn't been able to help himself), the other stuffed in the pockets of the jeans he'd rolled up to his calves. Messy black bangs hung over his face haphazardly, obscuring his view of the class until he removed them out of his eyes with a blow of air.

Ah, what an excited bunch, he mused with sarcasm, looking over the grim students.

A jubilant vibe seemed to fill the space around her as Rae entered, her sundress flouncing from the spring in her step. The radiant beam on her face almost shone as she practically floated to her locker, the faded door squealing, a familiar noise which she had come to ignore. Stuffing her denim shoulder bag inside, she reached up and raked her nails along the inside of the door, some of the old paint peeling off. It was a habit of hers, something she had started a while ago. Swinging the door shut, she resumed her walk to the physical hall, halting as her eyes landed on the people waiting by the door. She huffed at the the thought of having to wait but acquired a spot by the apparently locked door patiently. Rae's fingers pulled at the hem of her lime green dress she had worn to bring out her eyes, which sparkled. She felt... alive! Yes, she was often cheery, but today she was even more vivacious than ever.

Izzy took one step inside the school and felt a shudder go through her. It was so confining, she couldn't help but feel trapped in the restricting school. It took all she had to force herself further inside, glaring at anyone who even glanced in her direction. She was in a terrible mood, worse than usual. Catching sight of the small group around the physical hall, she backed up, not wanting to surround her self with any more people than she had to. Not looking, her back hit a locker, the sharp metal digging into her skin, yet she didn't budge. Hopefully, this locker didn't really belong to anyone and she would be left alone for now.

While everyone was still gathering, Flinch took his precious time to properly give them a once over, boys and girls included. Most noticeable were perhaps a bright ginger that stood out and two blondes - one standing in the very front of the crowd, apparently having arrived first, while the other he had noticed peering over someone's shoulder, looking her way accidentally - the girl was poised in front of a locker, simply sitting the havoc out.
He heard a sudden crash nearby, looking forward just as he felt the wetness onto his chest and eventually, another body bumping into said chest. He drew back (as much as he could while leaning against a wall), and gave the person who'd splashed him a head to toe look.
It was a boy. And a blushing one. He smiled cheekily, bending down in a crouch to help the boy pick up his things.
"Don't worry darling, accidents happen." he cooed, gathering some of the fallen books and handing them back. The droplets still rolling down his chest lightly tickled him so he reached a hand down, brushing the water away until the only thing left was the the slight gleam of his moist skin.

Allegro gave a soft smile to the stranger, muttering, "Thanks for not hating me..." as he trudged back to his original place in the group, not bothering to say "Excuse me!" to the people he pushed out of the way.

He sighed and put his head against the wall. He'd been so stupid, and probably did something to the stranger that he hadn't noticed. Why couldn't life be easy?

His mind answered back. "Life is a journey. Learn to embrace the hardships." Like how his "mom" died a few years ago. A few tears fell from his eyes onto his books.

His eyes widened. Oh, my. Ruining his books was NOT next on his list. He quickly wiped away the tears.

He nodded at the boy, acknowledging his apology, and smiled instead of a welcome. He was pleased that at least someone had bothered socializing with him even though the interaction didn't last long.
The kid seemed timid, perhaps just traumatized from the outside. There were always people that society stepped on a little to harshly and broke irrefutably. Noticing the other male's tears, Finch wondered if he was one of those people.
"Hey..." he mumbled, approaching the boy again, leaving his things next to the door and going over with a smile. "I'm Finch. I don't have the pleasure to know your name, but I was hoping for an introduction?"

Gently frowning, Allegro looked up, only to see the stranger smiling at him. He introduced himself as Flinch. "Well," he thought, "If he gives his name, the least I could do is be courteous to him." Smiling gently, he sad to Flinch.. "My name is Allegro."

Softly, he hugged Flinch. "Thanks for not hating me. The people here that I know would beat me up into a pulp."

Izzy breathed a quiet sigh of boredom. She watched others walk past her, no one giving her a single thought - but she was okay with that, she didn't give a crap about anyone here either. Her gaze drifted aimlessly from student to student, not really searching for anything in particular. Reaching into the pocket of her faded jeans, she pulled out her phone, checking the time. Class should have started by now, so why was the door still closed? Not like she cared about school, she normally would have walked into class late. But she couldn't stand the Main Hall sometimes, filled to the brim with people. Life felt so suffocating sometimes, Izzy had come to repeatedly think, with the strict rules and an oversupply of people. She put her phone away, giving up on time. She resumed her watching people and staring at the drab, colorless walls of their knowledgeable prison.

"Why would anyone beat you to a pulp?" Finch muttered in confusion, returning the hug whole-heartedly and threading his fingers through the boy's hair. "I won't hurt you in any case, Ale." he reassured the boy, patting his back.
He wondered absentmindedly why truly someone as innocent as the boy in his arma would be physically harmed for simply being himself. He realized he could vaguely relate to Allegro's clumsiness, although he never remembered being clumsy.
That aside, he felt sympathy for the boy.
"I can help ya with the bullies if you're okay with havin' me around." he muttered the offer, rubbing soft circles over the boy:s back to prevent him from crying again.
Wasn't really like him, the cocky bloke, to take sympathy on somebody and help them... but he couldn't deny disliking bullies.
