@poe I feel oddly tired, so forgive me if my writing is/has been a little off. -'-zzz

Dark-one looked over through the door, she quickly took one more gaze in the room. she saw a corps of a chimera under torches cage, and the other chimera looking at it. "yeah, i see the one who we followed here," Dark-one reported in a whisper, "But there is also a dead one in there, they must of killed it, which explains why the two are in pretty bad shape."

Dark-one nodded her head in agreement. "alright, then I'll meet you at the door or in the room with the egg."
"Who's there?" the chimera said in its deep voice.
"you better hurry."
The chimera started to walk towards them, the snake head lightly hissing.

Bandit nodded back and lightly ran down the hall, sniffing the air, searching for scents of creatures and eggs. It was only a few doors down the hall that she could smell something.

The door was closed. Drat, she thought. Bandit quickly realized she could reach the handle, though, and since it was a long thing handle, she was able to get both paws on it and push it down. When she did, she leaned all of her weight into the door, and she got it open a few centimeters.

Carefully, Bandit nudged it farther with her head and peered in. The scents of creatures were faint enough that none had been here too recently, so Bandit shoved the door open and saw an alkub egg next to a plastic bag containing a blanket in the middle of the room. She crouched and slowly approached it. Inside, she could see the rare egg they had come here for.

Bandit was not the largest creature, but she would be big enough to pick up the bag in her jaws and walk with it. Hopefully, Dark-one would be able to handle the situation in the other room, because Bandit didn't want to leave the egg, but at the same time, she worried about her friend.

"Be safe my friend." Dark-one whisperd under her breath, as bandit quickly left to find the egg.
"Come on out, I know you're out there" the chimera said.
"Don't worry we wont hurt you if you cooperate." a voice hissed.
Dark-one leaned agents the wall next to the door, she took a deep breath and slowly exhaled. she moved silently to the other side of the wall near the front of the door where she was close enough that she could lounge at the chimera and and keep him in the room, but far enough that the chimera won't be able to see her. the chimera was getting closer, his foot step's were light but were getting louder.
Dark-one waited for the chimera to get close enough so she could pounce him.

when the chimera was in range Dark-one lounged at the chimera, back in the room. She pinned the chimera on his belly. when she was about to do her finishing blow the snake tail of the chimera bit her.
Dark-one yelped and took a swipe at the chimera, then jumped back.
Both Dark-one and the chimera growled, dark-one lowered herself like she was getting ready to pounce.
Water dripped from the sealing and hit her nose by surprise, she glanced up and saw torch in the cage.
catching her off guard the chimera slammed into her, sliding across the room. she stood up with a quick recovery. Dark-one growled at the chimera then lunged at him, missing the chimera only scraping him with the sharp end of her tail. she started walking around keeping eye contact with the chimera, the chimera kept his eye's on dark-one waiting for a time to strike.
Dark-one quickly adverted her eye's from wall to chimera. Dark-one saw fethers blood in a puddle by the door. keeping an eye on the chimera she walked toward the blood. she turned her head away from the chimera to make him think that she was distracted by something. The chimera took a chance to attack and lounged at her. When the chimera lounged at her, she quickly swooped the blood with her tail and flung some of it in the chimeras eye's, and gashed the chimera's eyes. The chimera roared in pain, Dark-one took her chance and quickly tackled the chimera.

Pinning the chimera to the ground Dark-one stepped on the snake head with her hind leg crushing its wind pipe. Dark-one looked at the chimera who was and gasping for air. she leaned towards him, whispering in his ears she said, "The two you have killed, are apart of my family and you will pay for what you have done to them."
The chimera started trembling, with a flick of her tail she quickly ended the blind chimera's life.
Dark-one got off the chimera and started walking towards the door, she stopped and looked at feather then at torch. She walked to torch's cage, swiping it with the blade of her tail the cage broke and torch fell out. Catching torch on dark-one's back, she walked towards feather. putting feather on her back, she exited to room.
She lookd in the hallway were the water was half an inch high. The water must have got a little higher during the fight, she thought to herself. She sniffed around trying to get Bandit's scent.
"Bandit were are you?" she said, she walked down the hallway then she sniffed one more time and got Bandit's scent, it was faint but there.

@dragonii ((short post. 😋 Sometimes long posts are needed, I don't mind at all.))

Bandit heard Dark-One's voice and snapped out of her thoughts. She bounded out of the room she was in, egg in her possession, ready to leave.

"Dark-One!" Bandit exclaimed, overwhelmed by the sight of her friends looking beat up and soaking wet from the now-flooding building. "Let's get out of here!"

The unhemn raced to her friends, seeming to miraculously still have energy to keep going.
