Liareen quickly told Bandit what was going on. "There's going to be so many humans! Those ones that found us weren't the only ones coming. This blockade needs to be built even faster!" Liareen started arranging her sticks, weaving them into the wall where there were gaps.

Spud laid in the bush his eyes slowly closing, but he quickly shook his head to wake him up not wanting to end up falling asleep and humans getting into the cave.His ears soon perked up smelling a human approaching near the cave he quickly ran back to the cave to see that Liareen was already aware that they were approaching he tilted his head at her knowing that something was up. "Hey Liareen whats wrong? Did you find something out?" he asked his tail waving around quickly showing that he was a little scared

"Liareen, this is bad... But we've got to do our best to finish this blockade and keep the humans away." Bandit said determinedly.

After Liareen filled Spud in on what she found out, Bandit looked to Spud, "We're going to need some larger debris. Maybe if we go together, we can push some small boulders in front of the cave?"

"All right; let's go!" When Bandit had a job to do, she jumped to it. Quite literally.

So with that, she took off into the cave as fast as she could.

Cory flew to the back of the cave following Bandit. "Do you mind if I help you push the boulder?" she asked.

"Hey Cory! That would be great. If you can push them from the top , we could probably push them faster." Bandit said, a little out of breath from all her adrenaline and running.

Bandit picked a the largest boulder that she thought they'd still be able to move, once they reached farther back in the cave.

Liareen wove sticks into the barrier, which was as high as a human by now. Going into the back of the cave, she found some rocks that had been there since they found it. Straining, she pushed a medium sized one to the front. Leaving it there, as she wasn't strong enough to roll it onto the barrier, she went to the top of the cave's mouth and began hanging vines down so that humans wouldn't be able to see in.

"When Bandit and I are finished pushing this rock we can help you push that one." said Cory. "The humans are going to be very surprised when they see THIS." She mused.

Dark-one jumped out of the cave dashing to the road that the last group of humans passed by. She stared at some trees, and started to cut away at the tree with here tail.

"No kidding, eh, Cory? I hope we can create a good enough barrier to keep them out. Maybe after we're done with the boulders, we should look for plants with thorns to cover the entrance with."

Through a great effort, and teamwork, enough boulders were moved in front of the entrance. Bandit hoped that it would be enough, because many of them looked exhausted, herself included. It would be necessary to move more branches to cover the entrance, she was sure. Brambles would definitely be a big help in deterring the humans as well.

"Good idea. Maybe we can stick wood spikes in the ground." said Cory. "The humans will probably be all like:'Why is the entrance to the Egg Cave blocked?' Maybe we should write on the barricade, 'This is not the Egg Cave.' What do you think?"

Liareen was distracted by a noise behind her. Turning, she saw that a baby Sorien was hatching.

Spud sighed in relief after he finally placed the boulders at the entrance he sat down for a tiny bit taking a small break after he was done he walked over to the group overhearing Cory/ "I agree with Liareen, humans are filled with to much curiosity,determination and greed. We could probably coat sticks and the entrance with Salaslyke goo maybe when their skin turns weird it would chase them away." He said flatly.

Bandit giggled at the though of humans getting weird skin from Salaslyke goo.

"Maybe we shouldn't do that until we see if our barricade works or not." Bandit may have thought they deserved it, but she wasn't sure they should go that far just yet.

Hearing the cracking of an egg, she turned abruptly to see Liareen looking toward a hatching Sorien egg.

"How exciting! What a time for this, eh?" Bandit grinned.

Liareen laughed. "Yeah, I hope our barricade keeps this little guy safe!" She watched as the little Sorien opened it's stubby wings and attempted to fly out of it's eggshell. The egg shell started to slip and Liareen caught the Sorien with her tail and set it gently on the floor.
Whirling, she heard the unmistakable voices of humans, but it seemed that they couldn't climb the barrier. "It musta caved in!" she heard one tell another. She shushed the Sorien, straining to hear what else they were saying. She couldn't really tell, but they had obviously gone away after it was quiet for a long time. Liareen let out a cheer. "The barrier worked!"

"Yes!" In spite of being tired from moving the rocks and branches into place, Bandit jumped joyfully at the sound of their success.

"We should celebrate! Though first, it looks like that little Sorien is hungry." She smiled as she looked at the Sorien prodding at the nearest creatures looking for food.

Liareen laughed. "We have plenty of food! I'll go get some grapes, those are usually the favorite of Soriens." She slithered to the back of the cave where the food pile was and came back with a bunch of grapes in her mouth. "Here you go," she said, dropping the grapes near the Sorien, who began eating.

"There should still be space for her to get in. I think we left enough space for most of the creatures we have living here to be able to get through. But maybe someone should check to be sure." Bandit mentioned as she trotted to the back of the cave where the food was. She was pretty hungry after all that work on the barrier.

Dark-one cut the tree trunk, till a third of it was left holding it from falling over.
She put her front paws above were she cut the trunk, and started to push on the tree.

Dark-one's ears flopped up as she heard a rustling in the forest, she recognized the rustling as the humans getting closer.
she hesitated a little then started to push harder on the tree. When the rustling got louder, she cursed backing away from the tree to a place were she could hide. hiding in the long grass, she crouched getting pounce whoever showed up.
a few minuets later a human came in to dark-one's view.
"gotcha." she mumbled, pouncing him.
She pinned the boy and started to swipe him with her tail, when two humans dived and shoved her of him, leaving him with a gash on his chest.
"oof, what the?" she mumbled standing to her feet.
"go quickly, we will take him home." one human shouted
"no!" she growled, then chased the three humans that ran ahead.

dark-one soon lost sight of the humans.
"No!" she growled with despair. She lost the humans, there probably already at the cave, and if they didn't Finnish the blockade they would have more creatures taken, and it would be her fault.
dark-one wondered until she found a familiar road, she trudged into long grass were one of her shortcut's to the cave was.
She soon heard rustling and then crouched. seeing humans walk pass she recognized them as the one's she was chasing, she noticed they were disappointed.
"man, that sucks" one human said
"it must've been the stupid cave in."
"they succeeded? good." dark-one sighed with relief, flopping down exhausted.

After grabbing a quick bite on the go, Bandit sprung after Liareen to check on Dark-One. Bandit knew Dark-One could be quite zealous in keeping humans away, so she hoped her friend hadn't gotten herself into too much trouble. But certainly, Bandit wasn't one to be oppose to a little trouble.

She slipped through a small space in the branches, her belly brushing the ground. As soon as her hind legs were free she sprung into a jaunty pace catching up to Liareen.

Liareen raced after Bandit, flicking her tongue out to try to smell Dark-one. She wanted the humans gone as much as anyone, but if a creature attacked a human there could be trouble. Liareen heard the low rumble of thunder and looked up. Dark clouds were gathering! She called out to Bandit but she didn't think she heard her. The woods suddenly looked imposing and she couldn't see Bandit anywhere. She was torn. Should she wait for Bandit? She decided to go back to the cave. "Bandit will find somewhere to shelter," she told herself.
