"If you'd like to head back to the cave with Feather and help Liareen, go ahead." Bandit told Torch, in case she would rather be safe in the cave.

"How would you like to proceed? Cory? Dark-One?" Bandit asked for her friends' input.

Feather was still stumbling around in the woods, searching for the cave when it started raining. "Ugh!" she shouted. She hated getting water on bandages. It made them feel slimy and gross. She started running around, looking for shelter from the storm. "Aha!" She had found the cave! She crept in and found Liareen curled up and asleep on the cave floor. She hoped everyone else was okay...

"Ok i will go " torch said as she flew off.

Torch looked around and was lost but then it git dark and bushes started rumbling ; she saw two big ugly bright yellow eyes staring at her and coming closer.
It was a creature that looked hairy and huge. It looked like a crook!

"AAHHH!" Feather heard Torch scream. Oh no! The fangtharp from earlier! She ran as fast as she could, deep into the forest. "I can't believe Bandit would send Torch alone!" she mumbled. She reached over and dragged Torch with her into the bushes and the fangtharp got itself stuck between 2 branches.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

SERIOUSLY BANDIT???? LEAVING A NEWBORN TORGET TO GO INTO THE WILD????? Shame on you... JK!

" It's a Fangtharp. I ran into it a little while ago trying to find the cave. Let's hope it doesn't break free." she replied.

She realized something. A moment of truth. TORCH CAN NOW FLY BETTER THAN ME!!!

Sorry had to add that. I realized it too cuz she broke her wing and all.

Haha not Bandit's fault a newborn wanted to go into a hurricane. She could have flown back and thus avoided the fangtharp. Lol we've been winning at avoiding trouble, clearly.

It was getting dark, and despite her good night vision, she wasn't sure about the others. Bandit decided to rest a bit while they discussed what to do next.

Hmmm... MAKE DARK-ONE GO WITH HER!!!!

"C'mon. Let's head back Torch." Feather walked in the forest with Torch swirling above her in the air. She started missing flying but there was nothing she could do about it.

Make her go with who? I have one question, what kind of egg is it?
---
Dark-one thought about what she should do. She had a choice to
Go help get the egg, and have a chan of losing two other creature's or go help the other two, and have chance of losing the egg.
it was starting to get dark when she could not think of any other way.

Dark-one noticed the sky getting dark, in this weather she could not tell if the sun was setting or not. She looked at bandit and Cory the rain clearing the mud of her white boney, mask like face.
" the other two might not be able to see that well in the dark." She stated "But if I leave you guys now, we have a fewer chance of getting the egg."
She was worried for both teams, she didn't want bandit and Cory to go alone, and she didn't want feather and torch to go back to the cave alone.

Dark-one looked up at the didn't want to leave bandit and Corry behind she was kinda worried with how small they both were. But With feather's injury and target being a hatchling who knows what truble they would get into.

I hope it's a snawler so you guy will find out this quest was useless LOL

They walked into the cave and settled down. There were some rustling noises outside. "Duck!" she called. They hid to avoid the humans.

"Hey feather i know were in this cave but I'm still worried if humans come closer or if they get hurt or even if i don't survive because i have to tell u something when will i ever be an awesome evolved big creature like you guys" torch said?

"I think they'll be all right. Feather is a grown creature, after all. She should know the area around the cave like she knows her feathers. Torch may be young, but because of the weather, not much is out there for them to run into. We're crazy for being out here really." Bandit pointed out.

"We've been resting a while, so maybe we should start walking. We can go slow to conserve a little more energy since we have been out a long time now."

It's a rare egg. We already established that. That's why it was stolen and why we went after it in such a storm to begin with. Why are there humans out in the storm? Remember, the hurricane isn't gone. The weather is still really bad.

"Well, it takes time to evolve but who says you aren't awesome already? You just need some more experience That's it."

It's Creature Release Week. Why else would there be an incredibly rare egg you HAVE to go after?

"Umm, guys, we're getting very close to the coast and I can see that the water is going farther back than normal. I think it's the anti-storm surge. We should go back." said Cory. She had said that they should go back but she doubted if Bandit would listen. "Our lives are more important than a rare egg."

Looks like Cory is worrying about death lol.

I still think it's just a snawler LOL.

Feather paced back and forth during the night as Liareen and Torch slept. She could see the storm getting worse and she hoped everything was okay.

HOW IS THE EGG ON THE COAST ANYWAY??????

Bandit sighed. They were getting close, and now they had to turn back. She truly did hate giving up, but if that's what the situation called for, she supposed they should all head back to the cave instead of risking their lives.

"You're right, Cory. We shouldn't risk our lives in this weather. One rare egg shouldn't be the reason we all die today." Bandit was still facing the coast, staring at the dark water farther out. She couldn't help but want to keep going. She didn't know why fighting a storm seemed to be the thing to do, but it did.

Bandit took a half step forward. But that rare egg would never survive the storm. It would be sad to see a species so small slowly disappear when she had a chance to try and save that egg, that tiny creature.

Oh Bandit. Such a hero. XD I might need to work a superhero quote into here somewhere. Because superheroes are super. 😋

Hallo! I return!

Liareen found Torch and Feather outside the cave and pushed them to the back, where there was a soft pile of leaves. "How did you break your wing?" She asked nervously. "Are Bandit, Cory, and Dark-one alright?"

"Mud. I got stuck. I'm not sure about the others though." Feather's heart was pounding. She was worried about Bandit, Dark-one, and Cory.

Staring out there, Bandit knew she couldn't help herself. She'd sooner die a hero than live long enough to become a villain.

With that in her mind, she sprang forward, barely skimming the ground, in part because she was going so fast and in part because the slick ground left her without a lot of friction. Bandit just hoped she didn't take a terrible fall on her way toward the city.

Man I love that movie. Poor Bandit has been left without interaction, so she's going anyway. XD

Feather stared out at the moon. It was dark now, a cool breeze blowing into the cave. It was peaceful, but nobody's minds were at rest. She couldn't stop thinking about everyone. "Let's just go to bed." she said half-heartedly. She tucked in a leg, lay down her head, and fell into her dreams.

Torch saw as everyone fell asleep. She left out the cave and flew looking for the others and to make sure they were safe.
Also torch knew that feather couldnt run or fly and liareen can't catch her in the sky.
As torch left she leaped into the air and flew gliding next to trees. When soon she heard a small click sound and then "BOOM" a tranquilizer dart hit torch as she slowly started falling. The last thing she saw was a net and humans surrounding with chimeras by there side.

Feather woke up to a jolt. Her heartbeat quickened and she dashed out of the cave. Adrenaline rushed through her veins. " Torch! Where are you! Torch!" She ran through the woods, when the she heard it. A growl. The Fangtharp! She knew she couldn't run fast without a full rest but the adrenaline helped her think fast. the fangtharp took a swip at her and she grabbed it's arm with her talon, and just before the arm reached it's peak, she let go and propelled herself towards the noise. "Ha!" she shouted, but realized that adrenaline had run out, and that she was tired. CRACK! A net swirled around her body, a chimera pouncing on her. "Ha! You think you could find your little friend?" He said. He picked up a sack and surely enough, Torch was in there. "Let her go you monster!" I yelled. "I'm not a monster, i'm just doing what's best for my owner." He smirked evilly.

@satoshi818 MWHAHAHA! LET'S HAVE THEM GET BROUGHT TO THE COAST AND HAVE THE HUMANS GET STUCK THERE TOO! >:]

"No, Bandit!" Cory cried. "The hurricane will hit the city! You'll be in trouble!" She flew after him.

And before you ask, yes, I looked at the map and it is close to the coast.

When Feather woke up, she was in a dimly lit cave. The chimeras were watching her carefully. "Don't move you little brat! Or you'll get REALLY get it!"

She was wriggling around in her ropes and saw Torch. She was lying down, bite marks and claw marks all over her body. She guessed that Torch had tried to fight.

Bandit was getting closer to the city. She ignored Cory's distressed plea. Cory didn't need to follow if she was worried, but Bandit had to go.

She was so close. But the pouring rain had covered all the scent trails. The only thing she could smell now was the moisture in the air. Upon entering the drenched city streets, she found she was up to her ankles in water. The city obviously was unable to cope with the torrential downpour; the sewers weren't taking anymore water. Then she spied a chimera walking down the street, the only living thing out here, so she decided to follow it carefully. She was pretty sure it wouldn't hear her, since she could barely hear her own steps over the sound of the rain.

@sorenfliesthroughstorms
We were always heading toward the city, though. XD
