Notification Settings Idea

So i do like how you get an alert when you have cave attempts, but now since the CRWs aren't here i don't really care as much for the cave.

The IDEA: Somewhere we can turn on and off the alerts or getting certain alerts.

What we could turn on on/off:
- Alert for cave attempts

- The appearance of the red notifications (dot/alert/thing) besides the notifications

- Limit how many notifications the red dot (lets just call it "the dot") it will show you. Example: I don't want 20 notifications when i get on eggcave, I only want 5, or zero, or all of them. You can change that limit number. However, this does not change the regular notifications you get or see when you click on the notifications link.

- Subscription Notices: I hate how it gives you a notification every time somebody posts in your subscribed topic. Even though you want to be subscribed to this topic, you only want one notification every time someone posts. There should be limited number of notices you can get per subscription.

For example: I don't like how it alerts me when i get a cave attempt. Lets turn that off! ... Oh wait I want those new creatures that have just been released from the cove, I need something to remind me to go to the cave every 20 mins, lets turn it back on!

What else would you like to add? Anything else you don't like getting alerted about or would like to be alerted about? COMMENT WHAT YOU THINK BELOW! 😸 Feel free to share you opinions and ideas~

@aliney - I was just thinking of something like this! I think this could be really useful, allowing the users the option to turn on and off certain notifications. 😸

And maybe if we turn off the notifications that the red dot thing with how many notifications on the notifications stays on until we click on it. Did that make sense? o3o Cause I hate them where they're just floating there and such.

I think this was suggested before, but I'm not sure. But anyways, I find the notifications a bit annoying and wish there could be something to turn it off/on, so I like it. ^^

YES! I get so annoyed by the constant notifications >.< I get all excited when i see a little red 1 but when it's a cave attempt i get disappointed XD Please make this happen 😸

all i think we need is the close all button at the top not the bottom.

for the Subscription Notices: if you don't want a notification from the forms then just unsubscribe. :/

...then don't subscribe
Just search for the topic manually

Plus then when you log on next time it wouldn't show you if there are any new notifications for that topic because you limited it to 20

For the cave attemps to be turned off, yeah why not
