Welcome to The Wonders of Being Creative. I wanted to create something a little different from the usual, something enjoyable for us all. This contest will be hosted every month, with a different theme and prize. There are a lot of creative people here, and it is now time for them to challenge each other!


RULES
• All work must be yours and yours only,
stolen work from anyone here or elsewhere
will be result in a termination from joining
any contest hosted by me.

• You must use the theme giving
or else your entry will be ignored.



CONTEST
• This month theme will be all about spring, you will have to create a poem with 300+ characters and the words Rainbow and Sunshine must be used at least once. Be as unique as possible, and remember to have fun!

• All entries must be posted on this thread


PRIZES
• There will only be one winner, but remember that you'll have another chance to win next month, I am not looking for a perfectionist, but someone who knows how to be creative and original.

• You'll receive a Trinit, a South Central Ark Forest
(VIRTUALLY UNOBTAINABLE), Egg Patch (VERY RARE), Cupid's Arrow (VERY RARE) and Aurora Borealis (rare) travel.

Contest will end on the 20th of every month,
and the winner will be announced on this thread
the same day!

A new contest will be held on
the 22nd of every month.
So subscribe to stay up to date!

(All donations are acceptable, and they will be all held to be used as prizes, PM me if you're willing to donate anything)

If so here it is!

There lived a variety of creatures in Ark.
Many who come from a Park.
It was a time of giving
With the creatures partying and singing
The rainbow egg needs to hatch
There lying in the Kinump Patch
The spring sunshine shines bright
And everything seemed right
Here in the place of Ark

A month had past
The egg hatched fast
What came out of it was a Dragold
Then celebrations started to unfold
The gift of giving
Made such a living
That everyone was right as gold!

Growing grooming something's blooming poking out of musty snow
Warming breezing something's easing shooing 'way old Winter's woe
Cap'ring tumbling something's bumbling buzzing by in busy crowds
Watching gazing something's raising eyes at rainbows 'tween the clouds
Wafting rushing something's brushing flower scents upon your nose
Flow'ring greening something's preening putting on their bright-leafed clothes
Chirping singing something's winging soaring up to sunshine high
Laughing braying something's playing all can see that Spring is nigh



Septaic (name tentative and may be changed):
A poem format, like a haiku, sonnet, or limerick.
Eight lines of trochaic (one foot = stressed syllable, unstressed syllable) sept-and-a-halfmeter (seven and a half feet)
End rhyme scheme - AABBCCDD
Full format:
foot A-gerund foot A-gerund ... B
foot C-gerund foot C-gerund ... B
foot D-gerund foot D-gerund ... E
foot F-gerund foot F-gerund ... E
foot G-gerund foot G-gerund ...H
foot I-gerund foot I-gerund ...H
foot J-gerund foot J-gerund ...K
foot L-gerund foot L-gerund ...K
(capital letters = rhymes; a gerund is a verb form ending in -ing, like running or talking)

I had to write a poem for English and I wrote what is now officially Insometh #1 (unless I change the name 😋). And then I saw this and I was like "Imma write a poem!" and I remembered the English one and I decided I liked the format so it is now officially A Thing. And other people can use it if they want because YAY SHARING 😃

Also the name comes from something -> ingsometh -> insometh because I honestly couldn't come up with something very good so I just played around with one of the words in the format. 😋

Sunshine warms the land,
The snow melts, and the creatures begin to awaken.
The tree’s bloom, entirely unshaken,
By the warm days, and frigid night.
The rain falls, the sun appears,
All the bright and beautiful colors in Sight,
A Rainbow, shining brightly,
and the in response, the flowers pop from the ground politely.
Spring is here.
