Less CSPs...?

Okay, already with the title, I am fully aware that I'm entering a dangerous zone, so bare with me!

Recently, I've been very disappointed with new creatures. But not because of their style! There are certainly some things about their artwork that need fixing, but it's fine overall, so let's avoid getting there. Anyways, as I was saying, I'm disappointed. Why? Well, like the title says, there are too many CSPs in my opinion.

I honestly though this year was going to be about EC. I ignore if there are projects in the future that will help EC expand, but we are already in March and things are... lacking. We did get an auction system, which is a good start. We are also getting lots and lots of travels as well! Only problem is... all the holidays so far (well, Valentine's Days and St-Patrick's Day) barely had any LEs and just another 'featured' CSP...

Yes, maybe the price is lowered, but for people, such as me, who don't have means to buy CC, we cannot get them! Yes, we can trade with others, but my question is... Where did all the LEs go?

I remember last year, we got lots of LEs! If my memory is right, we had AT LEAST 3 LEs for V-day and 3 for St-Pat's. But this year... barely. We got the Ami for V-Day, but I thought the chocolate system was very frustrating. And how many LEs for St-Pat's day? So far, 0, and I don't think there will be any this year. So what do get instead? The Furrep and Regga. But don't get me wrong, I don't hate their designs. I hate the fact that we didn't get LEs. Maybe the artist didn't have time. Maybe they didn't have any ideas. But whatever it is, I wish to avoid having a timer teasing me for 2 days straight at the fact that I cannot buy the limited CSP.

But now that I'm done complaining, I have some suggestions to maybe help get more LEs:

1- Two words. User suggestions. I have seen dozens apon dozens (okay maybe not that much) of user submitted creature suggestions. If the artist is lacking ideas, they can consult user submitted suggestions! And seriously, I feel like it's been quite some time since I've seen a user suggested creature go official... so open your doors Egg Cave!

Sadly, that's the only suggestion I have to give. Once again, I have NOTHING against the designs, just the fact that we are lacking LEs. Maybe we can consider the Cave Monthlies as 'LEs', but not all of them are linked with the holiday in their month. So... I hope you guys can take this not as a hatred suggestion, but as a critique one... Thank you.

I agree with ya. o3o I was hoping for an LE for St Patrick's Day but got travels of which I haven't gotten/seen many >.< and a spring/St. Patrick Day CSP ;-;

Last year they had the Trovantis, Clioney, and Dragold, I believe.

Being a newbie made me really excited for Valentines and St. Pattys, as I thought they were going to release new creatures. In fact, I was really excited as St. Pattys was approaching, and instead Egg Cave came up with the Dragold's Den (Which did nothing but steal my EC by the way. TTwTT)

I also don't buy CC, so I had to trade for my Furreps and Regga. D:

At least I joined right before CRW. x3 I loved the CRW art. ^-^

Yah, Dragold's Den was a nice idea, but it kinda always gave the same prizes. Meh. Yah, there's my point. :c A lot of users here are from the age range of 12 to 16, so many of them are unable to buy CC. I had to ask my parents and I only did it once. Not to mention that CC is a bit overpriced... >_< Yup, I liked the CRW this year! c: Better than last year in my opinion. 😋

I can't say that since I wasn't here last year, but I really loved CRW week ^-^ And the art was so cute xD

Agreed! In fact, the only time I bought CC is when the CSPs were in special for half-price.

@_black3333_ Yup, it was quite some time now that I think of it. xD If I recall... the creatures were the Pandai, Cetopia and another one I forgot. :I I think it was for Egg Cave's birthday...

I agree with the whole "less CSP" thing. Although, I plan on buying CC when I get older ^^" I think that EggCave has been focusing a little too much on new travels and limited edition CSP lately. I have barely gotten/seen the new travels, so I have to go buy them from other people XC I never knew that EggCave used to have 3 LEs... O.O

You know the Meekin and Bauble, right? I actually thought they were gonna be limited edition T-T But I was wrong, they are seasonal.

But anyways, I agree with you ^^"

Yeah, I agree.
Cave monthlies are just sorta meh to get. I mean, you got the whole month to do it. We need to focus more on LEs.
