Forum Extension Glitch

As you can tell with this topic, a really long name can make the forums get all crazy :/ My suggestion is just to put a character limit on the topic (maybe 20-30 or so characters) to prevent this kind of warping 😸

A lot of it deals with common sense as well.
There is honestly no real need to input 50 exclamation points or symbols in your topics or posts.

It annoys me when people put a billion characters~

Example:

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if there is more than 5 of the characters, then it gets reduced to 1 😊

I agree with this, though i suggest it be tested how many characters it can take before warping, i know the town hall now has a name character limit[it used to be whatever and if the name was super-long it'd just be cut off] and it stops me from using certain names X3

@lizardfeather yeah, we are currently working on what's called an "anti-shouting" function to trim these repetitive types of words or strings of characters.

right now we're having a hard time getting the balance of being restrictive, but not too restrictive. 😊 thanks!
