The shopkeeper pulls out a high-powered, red heat lamp and places your mystery egg beneath it. You think it's supposed to help the egg hatch quicker.

The egg opens. But there's not a creature inside. You ask the shopkeeper what could've happened but he doesn't answer your question.

You consider coming back in the future to see if another egg hatches successfully but you have your doubts about this place.

The shopkeeper pulls out a sketchy-looking vial labeled Experimental Super-hatch Serum and applies it to the egg.

The egg cracks and appears to hatch... but a slimy, non-living object is located within. It's not a real creature but some weird inanimate object! You feel tricked by the shopkeeper and yell saying, "These eggs are supposed to contain real creatures and not stuffed with random items!"

A special glow begins to envelope this egg. It appears to be hatching...

The egg "hatches," only to discover it was a plastic egg covered in black ink. It wasn't a real egg! The shopkeeper doesn't offer an apology after you get really upset with him.

You consider coming back in the future to see if another egg hatches successfully but you have your doubts about this place.

Although every one I've grabbed lately has been empty, I must say, I have more luck seeing and grabbing eggs when I just happen to walk in on a restock, as opposed to sitting and refreshing for hours like a dummy. xD

I walked in on an egg only once so I know that's not for me. Even refreshing between feedings always ended in me being late. So I refresh like crazy :S

There's nothing wrong with refreshing the page when feeding! I do that sometimes too. I'm just saying that lately I've been having no luck when doing my usual feed-and-refresh but have been having decent luck with just walking in on restocks (although they've all been empty, so that's not terribly lucky after all haha)

The prices change randomly. You can have 3 days of only 400k EC or more and then have a bunch of eggs around 20k and even a real one at that price.

And about your trade earlier, sorry, but I already have a Jerob so I'd really like to get cc for my tidnab.

5 minutes pass as you wait for the egg to hatch. It rumbles and shakes a bit...

The egg continues to rumbles and eventually hatches after more waiting. The creature survives for about 3 minutes but doesn't make it.

EDIT: 5:40 am

2 eggs at once, one for 12k and one over 400k. One was full and it was a Tidnab. I didn't get it, I checked missing creatures.

I saw one once for 500 something K but I didnt have it so I watched it a refeshed for 2 mins till it was gone. ;-;

Have no idea whether or not it had a creature in it. xD

You can check if there was a creature in with adding 000 after any egg. When I miss an egg I click my featured http://eggcave.com/egg/1541146, add 000 after the whole URL http://eggcave.com/egg/1541146000 and it will open a page with latest eggs. So if any thief egg appears then someone got the creature 😊

You wait a bit longer for the egg to hatch. It opens. Much to your surprise, it appears to be an unfertilized egg. You get upset with the shopkeeper and feel gipped out of the deal.

@silverserpent - oh yeah, I refreshed it for over 2 mins and it was till there. I 'bought' it multiple times while it told me I didn't have enough for it. xD

I just watched one. It was 549k and didn't have enough ;-; watched it for a few mins, someone bought it. I checked the thing that @barbyka told me, It was a TIDNAB! 😃
