i just want to share my opinion on the new baistay!

i'm SORRY for the drawer of the new baistay!

but i prefer the old baistay drawing!

They HAD to redraw it because the old design was a trace/copy of a copy righted Digimon.
It's not going to be changed back to the old design.

Yes, it was said in the original blog post.
It seems a lot of people are unsure of the new design, but there's nothing you can do about it. The old design could have gotten Egg Cave in trouble, so it's a good thing they redrew it.

If you don't like it, you can always trade it to try and get something you do want?

and for the trading thing, the problem is that i'm trying to get every creatures so i won't trade it even if it would have been pretty ugly! i might just enjoy less is sight! ☹️

The new one is just so ugly, but there is nothing we can do :/ Indeed the old Baistay looked like a digimon called Veemon

Yeah a lot of people don't like the new design.
But hopefully after a bit of time passes, people will be able to like it. The shock of the new design can cause you to not like it, but hopefully everyone will like it with time!

I personally like the new one better, though I might be the only one who thinks so. I think the new one looks more playful, and I also like the spikes. Still, I think the stages should have looked a bit more different and that the color scheme was kept the same as that of the old one so it would go well with the same travels. :/

I'm sorry you don't like it though!

I also wonder if they'll change the Chit-Chat Forum Baistay...

I like the old concept better, but I can see why they changed it.

The art itself is fine, but I'm not a big fan of the design (except the egg. The egg is kind of cool).

To me, the first and second stage looks like it should be flipped flopped. The design, well, I was never a fan of spikes and it the little spots kind of makes it look sickly.

The first design, I think, is actually kind of cute. Quiet honestly, I'm pretty sure if this wasn't a
"redraw," people won't make a big deal out of it. I think the unexpected change caused people to be adverse to the changes.

Also, I find it...a bit unfair in a way. I mean, some people worked to get a this creature because of the design or whatever, but then, all the sudden it just changes to another creature. They're pretty much two different creatures.

I restate, however, I don't mind the change given the situation and I don't really think people should...harsh on the change.

i'm slowly getting use to see the new design but i think they should have drawn only one pair of arms! it's only the last thing that bug me! even if it's the same color it's still too different!! ☹️

@rashka I really dislike the new one. I would say hate but the 1st stage look like a dragon so that one is ok! XD I feel like they could of done something more creative with it. I just really hate that it doesn't have the cute but creepy aspect of baistay which I liked so much!

The change was going to come anyway. It looked too much like Veemon for comfort and it was the first thing that many noticed when looking at the Baistay

I'm not exactly partial to it either way, but I wasn't much of a fan of the original one, anyway. lol The new one has more details, which is kind of neat, and I like the shading better. But meh, I have weird opinions.

I like the Baistays new look. Roan looks much cooler now, and has more of a "dragon" feel to her. I kinda regret that not that long ago I traded off my Baistay egg. >.>

The change was going to come though, its just kinda stupid that they took so long to do it. Even when Baistays were first released many users immediately knew where the idea came from. There are several Baistays named Veemon even. 😋

Baistays are not the first to be changed either. Rosse and Chocob were also redrawn. Although I'm not sure why those where changed. I liked old Rosses better.

I don't like the new look at all, I froze mine because I like the old first stage, I don't like either of these...

I think Ian should at least give an option to return any money and items you spent on a redrawn pet before the redraw.

Money for instance for stars, freezes, travels etc. People should get a choice to get CC and items back so they can spend it on a pet they actually like.

Not that I really want this for my pets, but there are several trades up with issues like this, two with an SoB on a pet which people now no longer like and one person looking for a higher stage.

I was never a fan of the Rosse and I'm still not, so they might as well have left it XD I liked the old Chocob better though, it was cuter and looked more edible *pout*
