Auction notifications

Sometimes, when I lose an auction or something, a notification shows up about 7 times telling me that I lost/won the auction. Is it supposed to show up this many times? Because it used to show up only once for me. I'd also like to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem.

@ricefishie This is a known bug that Ian is working on. Unfortunately the cause of the bug is proving to be rather difficult to find and fix.

You are not alone, today I got 13 notification that I won auction so far, maybe I will even get more of them. I just hope they can find the problem it's little annoying.

34 notifications.

I sometimes got more than one notification but this is an extreme.

Wow. That's a lot.
Did you get them all at the same time?
Because I got some of mine all at the same time, then, they started popping up like every 3 minutes or something.

I've only had two or three of the same, never more than that... I also notice in the processed bids list it will duplicate what you've won. It'll list a creature won 2 or 3 times or more, but in truth you've actually only won one of.

It's came to 49 notifications so far. No I get them every five minutes.

Did you noticed that closed auctions are still showed in the listing of auctions? I mean the auction I won is still there and it ended 4 hours ago but the creature is in my cove.

The problem with the notifications is probably conencted to this.

Yeah, I really hope they fix this soon. I got a total of 91 notifications for a few auctions I made!

This is currently being looked into by Ian again. It had been thought to be fixed the first time around, but it seems to be a little more complicated than originally thought. Please bear with us as it gets fixed. 😃

I'm sorry that it is happening. Ian is looking into it. Right now, all I can say is to kind of ignore it and go about doing what you normally do on EggCave. It should be fixed as soon as Ian finds the problem.

Yeah that happened to me yesterday.
It just kept sending the same auction notification every minute. Annoyed I logged out then logged back in, and it did it one more time then thankfully stopped.
