as he said 'sunrise' he (tried to) curl his paw into a fist and raised his front leg, looking up at the slowly rising sun. he was adorable.

(ok im surprised i didnt do this before but im gonna change aussie's age to 8 because it makes more sense)

Ace laughed heartily, fluffing her thick, feathery body in the warmth of the rising sun. It was a relief to everyone to see her back to her silly old self.

"That's right!" she chirped, "We gotta!" Andre nodded, readjusting his scarf and folding his arms across his chest.

Ace flapped her massive wings, showering the team with a pleasant wind. "I can carry anyone who needs it, too!" she chirped heartily. As if on cue, Andre walked over to Ace and hopped on her back, nearly crushing her with his weight. She exhaled a faint chirp of exhaustion.

"Jeez! How much do you Krokorok weigh?" she squawked, "I can barely fly!"

Andre looked down in shame. "Sorry."

"Yeah, all aboard or get left behind!" Ace squawked impatiently. She whisked her wings in the morning air aggressively, slightly lifting herself in the air, Andre's tail lagging behind and briskly touching the ground.

Ace bolted into the air like a jet plane, Andre clutching onto her plumage for dear life.

"Slow down, amiga!" Andre shouted with his eyes tightly shut.

"Sorry!" Ace said, slowing the flapping of her wings to a gentle glide.

"Ace and I will try and find Takisha and Jasper, okay?" Andre said, his confidence renewed. "Jasper likes to hide in nooks in crannies, like trash cans or underneath upturned pieces of furniture. Try and keep an eye out for him if you can!"

"Right." Ace said, scanning the hazy city for any signs of movement.

Ace lowered down into the city, near the abandoned grocer where they last saw Takisha and Jasper.

"Should we split up?" Ace asked Andre.

"Nah, we're too weak to stand up against them in the now. Teaming up is probably the best strategy, amiga." Andre replied, scanning the area for movement with his dark, crocodilian eyes. Suddenly, a trash can rattled slightly, and the two immediately locked eyes with it.

"Is that Jasper?" Ace said.

Suddenly, the gleaming eyes of a Weavile emerged from the can, penetrating the smog in the dark city. His body was collapsing in on itself, and parts of him seemed goopy and almost like they were going to melt off. A horrible hiss gurgled from deep in his throat.

"Sí, it looks like it!" Andre shouted, slamming his thick, leathery tail on the ground in warning. "Jasper, don't take another step closer, or else!"

Jasper seemed too far gone to recognize Andre at all. His scarlet plumage and midnight-coloured quills stood on end as he lurched closer with his sharpened claws held up threateningly, still perfectly intact. Ace raised her massive wings in an attempt to intimidate him, her feathery crest blowing in the faint wind.

jordan blew some smoke out of his nose to look intimidating, charging up some kind of fire blast.

shade growled. she didn't look very intimidating.
