shade:

"count me in!"

she bounded over, leaving the qwilfish on the concrete.

she gabbed a few at a time, feeling really happy.

jake and jordan had already took a few. jake smiled.

aussie wagged his tail faster then ever, taking some from the pile one by one and finally sitting back down after about 6. he was a small lillipup, he didn't need a lot to get around.

shade sat down and closed her eyes, smiling. she stuck her tongue out a little bit, wagging her tail.

by now the sun was slightly over the horizon. the sky was less hazy than usual.

shade:

"where'd you find these? they're awesome! i'm gonna go find more food, because i will guarantee that these will be gone shortly."

she took about 8 more in case she got hungry on the way, but she doubted it. she bounded off happily.

jordan lokoed at the qwilfish she brought, but didn't have really any reaction to it, because they could just cook it. he was kind of cheerful, and fluttered his wings a little, getting ready to fly off.

jordan:

"i'm gonna go find more foo-"

just then, some of the goop around them sizzled and bubbled up. it started flowing everywhere.

jordan:

"quick! grab as many gummis as you can!"

the goop drove shade back to everyone else.

shade:

"there's goop all around us!"

she found a small bag not to far from them, went to pick it up, and pu some gummis inside.

jordan probably had the biggest claws out of any of them, so he grabbed a lot.

jake tried balancing some of the leaf on his tail. aussie only grabbed 3 and stuffed them in his mouth.

shade knew what she had to do. she became a metagross again, because it was easy to carry other pokemon that way. she signaled all the smaller pokemon to get on her back.

jake hesitantly walked over and climbed onto her back. aussie jumped on her back, almost dropping the 3 gummis he was holding, all of them covered in slobber.

jordan started flying.

jordan:

"ace! shade! lets get away from this goop!"

shade started hovering a tiny bit, off the ground at least. jake grabbed jasper, napstablook, BC, Bianca, and Chyenne 2 by 2, and put them on shade's back. none of them weighed very much.

jake put everyone, excluding shade, ace and mettaton on jordan's back.

shade:

"ok then....mettaton! quick! get on my back!"

she hovered a tiny bit higher in the air.

Mettaton nodded and leapt on his back.

Ace flapped her wings impatiently. "Is everyone ready to go?" she squalled, her peak pointed towards the sky. "Well, I don't care! We need to leave immediately! Hurry UP!"

"ya! lets go! now!"

he hated to sound bossy, but he didn't want to touch the black goop.

shade quickly grabbed the dead qwilfish before the goop could reach it and put it in her bag. shade and jordan bolted into the air. jake and aussie were having a hard time holding on. if they wanted a good ride, jordan was the better one to fly with. if they didn't want to die of fall damage, shade was the better one to fly with.

jordan flew in a circle out of bordem, trying to spice up flying a bit. he warned the pokemon on his back to hold on tight, and did a spiral. then he stopped doing crazy things while flying.

shade:

"well where do we go now?"

Bianca tilted her head, thinking.

"The lab I escaped from should be abandoned by now... Do you think we should go there?" she suggested. "It has food, and decent shelter..."

Jasper vigorously shook his head no. "Are you crazy? We'll get caught for sure."

Bianca sighed. "You're probably right. I don't know."

Jasper looked down. A mean-looking Scrafty and Krookodile were waiting outside the grocery. The Scrafty was a Shiny Scrafty who was wearing too much eyeliner, and the Krookodile wore a black bandana around his mouth that had the pattern of a lower jaw and sharp teeth on it. Napstablook and Mettaton looked down, too, and were a little intimidated by them. Jasper, on the other hand, saw two brand-new partners in crime before him.

"Great idea." Jasper said, trying to conceal his excitement. "Ace, shall we land?" He cocked his head slightly to the right and smiled, exposing his sharp fangs.

Ace suspiciously looked over at Jasper. She had barely ever seen him smile before. "Whoa there, hotshot." she chirred, "Why so chipper all the sudden?" She lowered a little, but still didn't let him off just yet, afraid that he would do something troublesome.

"I'm just... Excited... T-to get food!" he lied, "Yup. That's it." His smile faded away, but he was still eager to meet the two roughnecks.

"Whatever, creep." Ace rolled her eyes and lowered to the ground, far away from the Scrafty and Krookodile.

shade looked confused. she glided off near ace and started slowly landing. while she was landing, jordan was flying around in the air like a roller coaster off its tracks, giving jake and aussie even more of a reason to fly with shade next time. jordan thought they were bored.

shade let mettaton off and turned into a zoura. shade was suspicious at how jasper looked at the gangsters a few blocks away.

shade:

"dont tell me you're gonna join those 2...."

jordan landed and jake and aussie practically flew off. aussie's ears drooped. he didnt want to fly with jordan unless he had to.

Jasper, paying no mind to any of his friends, walked right up to the Scrafty and Krookodile. The Krookodile wrapped his arms around him in a huge bear hug.

"Ayye, amigo! I haven't seen you in forever!" the Krookodile said. He spoke with a heavy Jamaican accent. "¿Qué estás haciendo güey*? You evolved, right? I knew there was something extraño* about you, ah?" He let go of Jasper, who looked like he was about to suffocate.

"Andre! I'm good, how about you, bro?" Jasper replied heartily. Andre replied with a jolly laugh.

"Muy bueno!" he chuckled. His voice was loud and clear, even through his thick bandana. He shoved a thick finger at Jasper's friends. "Introduce me to your new compadres!"

Ace stayed back. She didn't want to get involved with a bunch of hooligans. She barely even knew that Jasper was a thief.

Jasper nodded. "Andre, these are Ace, Blooky, MTT, Jordan, Shade, Aussie, Jake, BC, Alphys, Cheyenne, and Angelica!" he listed all of their names off without missing a beat. "Guys, these are Andre and Takisha. We're old friends."

Takisha blew a bubble from the huge wad of gum she was chewing. It popped loudly. "Sup? I'm Takisha." she said adamantly. She looked unimpressed at all of Jasper's friends, but didn't say anything. "I came from Driftveil city, but my old trainer dropped me off in this dump. It's nice to meetcha, anyway." She swayed her hips slightly as she spoke.

aussie was wide eyed. his ears were pointing directly at the ground now. he didnt know jasper was part of a gang. jordan didnt know how to react. he knew anything he did would look stupid, so he just gave a simple reply.

jordan:

"nice to meet you too, bro."

jake face palmed.

on the other hand, shade was feeling confident.

shade:

"sup? whatcha guys doin' here?" she said, covering her real voice with street boy language. Her voice was slightly lower than normal.

Aussie didnt say anything. he knew these were pretty tough looking gang memebrs and he didnt want to start a fight, much less get beaten up.

"We were waiting for Jasper. He was supposed to meet us here two days ago, but he never showed. Luckily, we decided to wait again today, and here he is." Takisha shifted her weight and looked at Jasper. "You're late. We're supposed to be a TEAM, not a let's-wait-for-Jasper squad." She rolled her eyes and spat out her gum on the ground. Napstablook inched behind Mettaton.

"Well, I'm glad you found your friend." Ace said nervously. "Welp. I'm out!" Ace jetted up into the sky, and left the group. Mettaton rolled his eyes at her, watching her disappear into the sky. "Rude!" he shouted, but she was already outta there.

"I don't want to deal with a bunch of shady Pokemon, you know?" she said, "I'm a justice-dispensing Pokemon. I gotta keep this town in order. And you know... I can't really do that when I'm hanging around a bunch of thugs. You understand, right? You guys stay with Jasper, Andre and Takisha. Keep 'em outta trouble." She flapped her wings like she was carrying the burdens of the whole world on her back.

She even regretted saving Jasper from the Serperior. Maybe it would've been better if I didn't step in to help. Ace thought. Maybe that thieving rapscallion should've been taught a lesson. She shook her head. No! That's mean. I'm glad I saved him, but I don't want to deal with a bunch of thieves anymore.

jordan watched her go off into the distance, hovering there, dissapointed. then he decided 'no. im not staying with a gang either.'

he flew towards her.

shade:

"yo, i gotta go. we'll be seeing each other soon, no?"

she became a metagross and put jake and aussie on her back.

shade:

"if anyone else wants to come, come now."

she regretted leaving jasper behind with this gang like this, but he seemed better off there than with a bunch of normal folk.

Mettaton and Napstablook called for Ace. Hearing her old friend's voices, she couldn't do anything but return for them. She dove down and put them on her back.

"Jordan! Shade! Waaait!" Ace called, flying faster than a bullet, looking for them. She Mega Evolved into Mega Pidgeot, and flew faster than ever trying to find them.

IC:

Angelica lagged behind Shade slightly as they rushed back to the place everyone else was waiting. Angelica frowned. I wonder what they'll think when we bring a smelly Qwilfish as the only food to eat.

As they reached the clearing, Angelica's jaw dropped. Everyone seemed to be digging into a gigantic pile of pink-purplish gummies. Feeling her mouth beginning to water, she quickly clamped it shut so she wouldn't start drooling.

Angelica felt the Grimer slide off of her onto the ground. It stared with wide eyes at the gummies. Some kind of purplish liquid was dripping from its mouth.

Right then Angelica got a good look at it for the first time. The Grimer was slightly different looking than the average one. It was for much smaller and was a darker shade of purple. I guess that explains why I was able to hold it at all in the first place.. Angelica mused to herself.

Her eyes then turned longingly back to the pile of gummies.

Angelica couldn't take it any longer. She ran forward and snatched some gummies from the pile, gulping them down. As she ate, her the aching of her empty stomach began to cease. Angelica sighed in relief and laid back comfortably.

Feeling something slimy nudge her hand, Angelica almost screamed. She turned to see the Grimer. Its eyes were wide and pleading. Almost like a puppy, Angelica thought silently, hiding a smile. She reached into the pile and tossed a gummie towards the Grimer, who enthusiastically snatched it out the air with its mouth.

Angelica jumped when shade suddenly shouted something about goop surrounding them. She sprang onto her feet, her eyes widening when she saw the blobs of sludge heading towards them in a almost malicious manner.

Not even thinking what she was doing, Angelica scooped up a small pile of gummies with one arm and the Grimer in the other and took off slowly in the air. She desperately tried to quicken her flight upwards, but the combined weight of the Grimer and gummies slowed her down greatly. Angelica flung herself at Shade, trying to get a grip on her now smooth, metallic 'skin'. Feeling herself start to slip, she desperately heaved herself upwards. Angelica sighed in relief, when she was safe on Shade's back. She laid back and closed her eyes, beginning to snore softly.


Waking up, Angelica blinked her eyes open in surprise when she heard someone mention her name. Sitting up, she glanced uncertainty at the shady looking Krookodile and Scrafty embracing Jasper on the ground.

She waved drowsily at Ace, wondering why the Pidgeot suddenly left. Angelica jumped in surprise when Shade started moving again. "Where are we all going?" She yawned with her eyes only half open.

jordan saw ace land next to everyone and slowly landed as well.

jake felt kind of guilty to leave jasper here. even if all of them had only spent about a week with him, it was hard to leave him without a flashback.

aussie didnt nearly have the great emotions of everyone else because he was only with jasper for one day.

shade slowly took off, making a last call for anyone else who didnt want to walk.

Napstablook felt relieved to get off of Ace, as flying on a Mega Pidgeot was too fast-paced for him. Mettaton, despite his missing arm, loved the excitement of it. He stayed on Ace's back. Napstablook climbed on Shade instead, looking for a less intense ride.

Jordan and shade quickly flew with Ace, scanning the city for any threats. Jordan was bored.

Jordan:

"hey guys, watch this!"

Jordan shot like a bullet through the air, doing a spiral then flew upwards and backwards. Then he flew in a circle really fast and started diving up and down. He quickly zoomed around Shade and Ace.

Krynn shivered in the city hoping something to help the city become back to being a lively place.
While she was flying in the air she saw a Dragonite. She paused in the air fear overwhelming her because of the conditions of this place that made her weak. Scared of being attacked or hunted.

Krynn kept flying in the air watching the group of pokemon, but soon left to find some food for her survival, avoiding contact with anyone. She was relieved that they didn't see her around them though too.

So far there was no luck of finding food for herself. Krynn decided to go back to where the pokemons she saw to watch how they survive out here and if there ways would help her.
She flew back and was in a tree watching them quietly. I really wish I could be friends with them, but I'm scared! Krynn had a debate in her head while watching the group.
