troy noticed that navy fainted and cynthia was bleeding. he sighed. he dragged navy over behind a tree so that he wouldn't be further hurt.

troy ran back to the battle and used dragon rush on both of the foes. his eyes glowed red.

troy:

"i'm not giving up again! oh, and sorry irwin, but your dreams are kind of crushed right now."

troy used rock slide on irwin.

Pepper ran over to Navy and took out the other half of her berry that she was saving. She mushed it in her paws and put it in his mouth.

Roserade did a backflip in midair to dodge the explosion and got back on her feet. She had a thick wound across her side from the Aerial Ace, which she attempted to patch up by using Synthesis.

"Is that all you've got?" she asked tormentingly. She had a thick British accent. "I'm Roxy, by the way. My mate here, th' Scolipede, is Nettle. Jus' thought you'd want to know our names before ya died at our feet!"

She rose her hand up into midair and massive thorns exploded out of the ground, constricting around Cynthia and choking her at the neck.

Leonard took a step backward, nearly tripping over Irwin. "Roxy! You're supposed to capture them, not kill them!" he shouted. Roxy loosened her grip and looked her dead in the eyes. Irwin's Unfezant returned to her trainer and perched expectantly on his arm.

"Listen 'ere, you bloody bampot. We can do this the easy way or the hard way." Rosy growled through clenched teeth. Nettle stood next to her, ready to attack any Pokémon who come too close to either of them. "Surrender and return to the laboratory or have me n' Nettle rip ya to shreds. Your choice, mate."

troy rolled his eyes.

troy:

"you're the ones who are gonna die at our feet. you and your bratty trainers are the ones who should surrender, cuz we're not surrendering any time soon!"

troy used rock slide on roxy, then rock slide on nettle.

troy:

"we're not gonna give up no matter how hard you even try. just surrender and make this easy for both of the sides of this war. you guys can go back to your lab and live happy lives, and we can go back to our trainers, and also live happy lives. does that sound good?"

Nettle lifted the rock easily with his massive horns, then helped Roxy up. He nodded and let her talk.

"Trainers? Don't be silly, bloke." she laughed daintily, "Your trainers abandoned you. They probably forgot about you long ago. I've seen it happen hundreds of times over. You're not a special case."

Nettle stomped the ground, triggering a huge tremor. A piece of earth flew up above Roxy, and she sent a giant thorny vine up to smack it back down at Troy. It seemed like they were perfectly trained to do it, like a pitcher and a batter on a baseball field.

Irwin looked over nervously at Leonard.

"How'd you get them to do that? They're so well trained!" he gasped, shocked.

"I'm a Poison-Type specialist, and I guess it's just more easy for me to train Poison-Type Pokémon." he shrugged. "Speaking of which, you speak Pokémon, right? What're they saying?"

"Well, they certainly don't seem like they're going to surrender any time soon. Your Pokémon are doing a good job keeping up a fight, though." Irwin replied.

"no they didn't." he said, sounding calm and collected as he dodged the large, flying piece of earth. "i can guarantee none of our trainers forgot about us. but maybe your trainers lost their sanity, and they passed on that insanity to you guys." he said, grinning a little at his mediocre comeback.

Pepper used Thunder wave. Scorpio felt his body heating up. "Our trainers would never forget about us! Even if they did, we will keep fighting until we get back!"

Cynthia screamed inside her head trying to struggle out of Roxy's grasp of thorns. She never really used the spikes on her tail, but now was the time to use it. She shot out the spikes towards the Roserade, for some reason though she admired Roxy. Though this was not the time for it.
Navy woke up at the scene from the berry and saw Pepper helped him. He used a Air Slash at the Roserade, but was wary of the Scolipede, Unfezant and Irwin because they didn't do much yet and are probably planning something.
"Thanks Pepper. Can anyone get them to sleep so I can use Dreameater?" he whispered to his allies.

there were lots of words that he could describe roxy with, but he wasn't gonna say them.

"No prob, Navy. Unfortunately I don't know any moves that would put them to sleep. I don't think Scorpio knows any either." Scorpio tried to control his anger, but he didn't know if he could hold it in. Soon his paws were on fire.

"Insanity.. Tch. I doubt it, but maybe you've got a touch of madness yourself, what with that sickeningly positive outlook." Roxy sneered. "I've more than one type of attack, by the way. Don't get too cocky, you pesky bloke."

She elegantly dodged the falling rocks and fire, striking poses as she avoided them. Just when she thought she had cleared them all-- one hit her right on the head. She collapsed to the ground instantly like a bullet had just blasted through her skull.

She struggled to her feet and used Shadow Ball on Troy, the only move she had that he wouldn't be immune to. Nettle reared his head and slammed into him with a Steamroller attack, hitting him at the same time as Roxy's Shadow Ball. His massive weight and the considerable speed he hit him at sent him flying, and the lingering sting from the Shadow Ball hung over him even as he was propelled backwards.

nettle using steamroller shielded him from the shadow ball, but he got flung back by steam roller and skidded across the ground.

troy:

"alright. just know that we aren't surrendering, we're just leaving. lets retreat, guys!"

troy jumped into the water and started swimming away. at least this was better than surrendering.

Scorpio lost it. His whole body lit up in fire. He jumped on top of Roxy. "What's your problem? We're just trying to get back to our trainers!"

Roxy shrieked, flailing about to try and put out the fire and shake Scorpio off.

"Wait!" she demanded, "Where do you think you're going? There's nothing but open sea outside these islands. If you escape to another island, there's more scientists. If you go out to sea, water Pokémon will eat you alive. G-get off me!"

"She's right.." Irwin sighed, stepping in. "Come back, or don't. You'll get caught or killed regardless. Let her go."

Roxy was knocked back, surprised at Troy's weight and force. She couldn't speak for a moment. At least it was better than being set alight by Scorpio.

"R-Roxy..!" Leonard stammered, calling her back to her Pokéball. She vanished from under Troy and returned to her trainer. "Thank Arceus you're safe. Nettle, use Gyro Ball!"

Nettle's body hardened and achieved a metallic luster. The bright sunlight reflected off of his body and everyone had to squint to see past him. He rolled up into a ball and rolled into Troy at full force, like a bowling ball knocking over a bowling pin.

Irwin's flame roared vigilantly. He hadn't had a battle in forever, and certainly not since he was turned into an Infernape. Leonard seemed like he was having a lot of fun, too.

"Unfezant! Use Sky Attack on the Flareon!" Irwin said with excitement building up in his voice.

The Unfezant's feathers began glowing like an angel's wing as she took off into the sky. She took in the wind's energy patiently and scanned Scorpio for weak spots, then suddenly crowed loudly and dove down onto him while enveloped in a Seraph-like glow. Her talons dug into him at full force.

troy got up and shook the dirt off himself like a dog shakes off water. then he used iron head on the unfezant as it hit scorpio, knocking it back.
