Navy and Cynthia caught up after a brief moment of pause of distraction... Somehow..
"Oh so they finally upgraded their security! Great ,just great!" he scream sarcastically. "They're coming!!!"
He started to help Pepper digging as fast as he could. Cynthia also started to help them too.

A Magnemite used Signal Beam on Pepper, sending her a message to stop digging. It's metallic, unblinking eye focused in on her, Navy and Cynthia.

Irwin finally caught up with them, panting and wheezing. He straightened his glasses, and had to catch his breath before trying to speak to them.

Pepper watched Irwin confront them. She wondered what he was going to say. Pepper began to growl and kept an eye on the magnemite.

Cynthia shrugged and replied in snake language again 'thought we were getting somewhere, but again we are doomed... Again... They're going to punish us!!' Cynthia started to freak out and eyed the scientist that was a Infernape carefully and cautiously.
Navy muttered something "I thought we were digging under some fence or something..."
Cynthia and Navy were watching the Magnemite carefully scared. Mostly Cynthia...

he finished his strong speech with confidence. his eyes glowed an a yellow-orange color with confidence.

The Magnemite beeped robotically, dismissing Troy's question entirely. It didn't care at all what it was defending by doing this, it was simply doing its job, and that's all it cared about. Irwin finally caught his breath and began to speak.

"Before I recall you to your assigned sectors, I-I want to explain to you something." he said, more calmly than before. "First of all, I am not a Pokémon. I simply am not. I am a human, as I always have been, and always will be. Secondly, I'm only doing my job. If I don't... I'll be forced back out into the world. No one can see me like this. I'll be dismissed as a freak show, and none of my scientific discoveries will ever be respected as they once were."

He had to fight back tears at this point. His glasses began to fog.

"I'm nothing without this experiment. This island is the only place where people will ever treat me like a real human ever again. I just... I hate being an Infernape. I would give anything to be considered human, even this." he said pitifully, "And, frankly... You're nothing without this experiment, too. You'll be treated as monsters in the real world. You'll be shunned by society and treated horribly. Let's be honest... I don't want that for you. I know how it feels."

Hot tears rolled down Irwin's cheeks. He wiped them away with the sleeve of his lab coat.

"Both of us need this. I know that it's terrible. But if either of us try put an end to it..." he muttered, "Well, I don't want to think about what happens then. I know you want the experiments to stop. But you'll be treated even worse out there. And... I'll never be able to be a human ever again."

"I don't regret any of this. I know that the experiments are terrible. I know that what I'm working so hard to get right is disgusting. But, what matters most to me is my humanity. And if I don't keep working on the experiments... I'll lose that."

troy's eyes glowed purple with seriousness.

troy:

The Magnemite surrounded him, and picked him up using magnetic energy. They began taking him to his original storage room.

"I don't think so." Irwin said flatly. He didn't care what any of the Pokémon thought anymore. He just wanted to do his job.

troy faced his friends.

"run! save yourselves! i'll be fine!"

troy turned back to the infernape.

"you have no soul! do you even know what we feel like?!?"

troy used rock slide on the magnemite and irwin.

Irwin collapsed on the ground, struggling to breathe. His shattered glasses fell off his face as he tried to force himself upright, and his flames receded into nothing but a small ember.

"P-please..." he coughed, "Stop this... I-I'm only doing what I have to! I'm just a regular guy who wanted to get a career in science. I didn't want any of this!"

As much as he didn't want to admit it, he felt awful about experimenting. He didn't want to die here. He only wanted to be human again.

troy's eyes shifted color a little to magenta.

troy:

"that is....if you don't want me to use rock slide on you again."

troy felt kind of sorry for irwin, but at the same time he wasn't afraid to use rock slide several more times.

Navy started to run, but Cynthia didn't. She ran up to them wanting to stop it. She shook her head very hard, it may be hard for them to forgive, but her empathic side made it easy somehow. She wanted to cry, but had to do this, even if he is one of the scientists. 'Please don't try and hurt him! He's going through pain too when he was transferred into a Infernape's body!' She hissed in snake language again, trying to defend Irwin. Cynthia knew it was pointless to try and make them understand what she was saying, but she tried anyways.
Navy saw his sister and shouted out, "what are you doing!? Run!" He was thinking nothing, but to get Troy and run.

Pepper looked at herself. Maybe they looked like monsters, but haven't they always? Pepper just wanted to be back with Griffin and Scorpio. "I'm... I'm sorry." She walked up next to Irwin and gently licked the side of his face.

"I don't want to die as an Infernape. I really don't. I-I'm not even thirty years old yet." he coughed, thick blood spilling out of his mouth as he tried to get up. "Haha... Somehow, I seem to be determined enough to stay alive and return to my old body, even though I know that it won't happen."

He felt his flames, internal and external, begin to die down. He was almost dead, but somehow managed to keep breathing.

Navy wasn't still convinced of the Infernape.
Cynthia used Giga Drain on herself and transferred the energy to Irwin... She used a stick and wrote, 'you have to have some empathy for him at least right?' The Giga Drain didn't effect her too much though anyways.

Pepper looked at Troy. "But, if he doesn't have pokemon to experiment on, he'll have to go back to the real world." looking at Irwin, she asked, "What about all the pokemon back in the lab? Do you really need us too? YOU haven't even experimented on US, heck, we just met today!"

troy had empathy, but a burning rage inside him as well, which was small at the moment. His levels of empathy tilted to both sides for irwin. its as if troy was a wooden plank on a triangular wooden block, and one side of it was rage all out and just kill the dude, and the other side was seek medical attention for irwin, then leave cautiously.

troy:

"but he is showing he doesn't care about his subjects....and i hate the thought of the day i was taken from my trainer.....his tears pouring on the streets...." his voice trailed off, lower pitched than usual.

his temperature dropped a little.

troy:

"don't you all miss your trainers? what are we doing here? we need to leave before he gets up."

troy dropped out of the magnemites' magnetic field.

troy:

"we can give him medical attention, but we need to leave right after that."

"Ack! N-not like that!" Irwin sputtered, his face turning red. His fire roared loudly, as if it were a being of its own that was laughing uncontrollably at him. "I'm not into that sort of thing! I-I study genomes and DNA! Experiments are infertile anyways, so no! ..Guys? Wait!!"

He had to feel around for his reciever, as he was blind as a bat without his glasses. Finally, he desperately grasped its rectangular form and yanked it towards him. He squirmed under the mass of boulders, shouting into his receiver for help. No one answered, unfortunately, leaving him disheveled and flustered under a pile of rocks.

troy had already ran off. he wasn't taking any more chances with Irwin. if he went back, he'd be caught. if he went to the coastline, he'd have to build a boat that would fit all his friends and himself.

Pepper felt torn. She didn't know whether she should help Irwin or not. Pepper stood still. She looked at Irwin under the boulders. Sighing, she slowly walked back to him, but didn't help him. Pepper was almost glad he was stuck. "Give me one good reason I should help you."

Oh woah you guys have minds... Cynthia thought when she looked at them seeing their reactions. She still wanted to help him... Well somewhat, she didn't want anyone to die or anything. The first thing was how to get him out of there. She was happy that Pepper had empathy or sympathy for him at least.
Navy walked away with Troy. If his sister was going to help the scientist, he won't really help either of them.
