The Aces (Signups and Discussion)

The Aces are a bunch of humans and creatures with mastery of more than one talent and power. Whether that talent's associated with magic, fighting, life, music, you name it! At the age of 16, one is tested to see if they're fit to be an Ace. They should master at least two powers. If they succeed, they're an Ace. If they fail, they can be an Ace at any time if they master two or more powers. Even though Aces are powerful at more than one power, that doesn't mean others can have more than one power. And even so, Aces are somewhat uncommon in the world.

Rules:
This takes place in the Millenium universe (AKA the universe where my roleplays take place in) where everything is semi-kinda-medieval in the present day world, little to no electronics exist, and where magic dominates science. Kind of like Mabinogi.
PG-13 Please.
Egg Cave and RP rules apply.
No godmodding/Mary Sues.
Be literate.
Have a weakness, PLEASE!
Have at least 3-4 sentences, nothing kills a roleplay when one posts at least 2000-4000 characters and the other replies with "Ok," they said.
One Ace per person.
Non-Aces can have more than one power, but should be weak in them.
Aces can die.
Limit your Ace's powers by 6 max.

Name: Furia Nuro
Age: 18
Gender: Agender and uses they-them.
Species: 80% Human, 5% bird, 15% Demon.
Looks: They are pale skinned with short black hair that's silver at the tips. Furia is around 5'06 with an average build. They're fairly strong and they have a white star tattoo with a black outline on their right arm's shoulder. They have an odd eye which is red on the right and black on the left. Often times, they can release dark brown wings on their back. There's a scar below their eye.
Clothing: A white tank top and sky blue jacket and black jeans. They have a necklace with a crescent moon on it. Furia also owns white sneakers. They have white glasses on as they are near-sighted. Their tank top and jacket have holes where the wings emerge from.
Personality: Furia is considered to be Chaotic Good, as they tend to be a bit evil, but at the same time heroic. They despise uncontrollable chaos. They're usually away from people and dislike talking.
Weapon/Power/Talents: Furia, as an Ace, can use three mastered powers. They can create strong blue fire in the palms of their hands, use electricity in a matter by either charging metal or shooting on their own. Their last Ace power, is surprisingly not Ice. They can instead create shadows in shade. Their weapon of choice is a gunblade, and they can emerge wings from their back. Being 15% Demon they can sense unseen things from a five feet radius.
Weaknesses: The blue fire, even though intense in heat, can be dispeled by water and strong winds, and they can only be casted up to three feet. Electricity is weak when shot on their own, and accuracy is terrible when shot. (Better take electric lessons with a certain Lilan!) Shadow Manipulation is better in the shadows or when it's very dark, otherwise it's useless and weak. And when wings are emerged, they result in them being in pain most of the time since it requires for them to change their skeleton.
Other: They're a Capricorn.

Name: Mozuku Keika
Age: 20 in human years.
Gender: Female
Species: Firefly Squid Humanoid (the one from the Squid Girl anime)
Looks: Dark blue hair that is medium long and look like real life squid's tentacles. There are ten tentacles that make up the hair. She is slightly tanned and have a thin build. Mozuku is around 5"08 in height.
Clothing: Some kelp around her head and a light blue blouse combined with a small skirt of the same color with a slightly larger skirt above it that resembles a light blue jellyfish. She also has light blue thick round bracelets around her arms. Barefoot.
Personality: Mozuku is naïve and confused. She barely knows anything about the land or anything about it. She is afraid of people that might eat her, considering she's a squid. Her favorite food is usually shrimp and she dislikes eating other seafood.
Weapon/Power/Talents: Mozuku can blast squid ink out of her mouth, and manipulate water. She is able to communicate and understand any sealife. Her squid tentacles can also become longer, move, be precise, and grow back when cut. It is very powerful, as well. She's a firefly squid, so her tentacles can glow at night. Her weapon is a knife that is light blue at the blade that stings like a jellyfish.
Weaknesses: Even though Mozuku's ink sac is very powerful, it can drain her out. She's can quickly dehydrate, and quickly die if she does. Her tentacles can easily be cut off by sharp things, but it won't hurt her.
Other: She doesn't know her birth date.

@nightmaremoon12 I'm warning you, I have no idea what Mabinogi so I apologize if something is wrong with my forms. I've also used a more story version of Darrien, from the actual thing she's from. So if something's off with her go ahead and correct me.

Name: Darrien Scarsboard
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Species: She's 34% Sorceress, 33% Demon, 33% Angel.
Looks: Standing at about six foot even, Darrien has pale skin and a face coated in freckles. Her light brown-dark blond hair is cut shortish, to about her jaw line, and sits in thick wavy curls.
She has an ugly birthmark on her throat, and her eyes are an unusual shade of blue, and change to steel gray when she loses control of herself. She is able to grow out a set of ashen gray wings with bronze tinting in the edges of the feathers on the inside.
Clothing: She wears a loose fitting red, dark blue or black tank top with a leather jacket and stretchy black pants with zipper pockets. She adds brown boots, and a necklace holding a swirled light and dark green stone encased in bronze holdings. She carries an oak staff with her, with the tip wrapping around a gray gem set into it
Personality: She's quiet, and can be snarky, sassy and sarcastic. She's often the one to keep a level head, and can come off as rude at first.
Weapon/Power/Talents: She uses a staff, sturdy and balanced to both fight with and channel magic through. Her powers, as an Ace, consist of the ability to manipulate magic in all forms, teleportation, the ability to put her thoughts into others heads to kind of, thought speak, and telekinesis. As well she is gifted in Sign-Language and street fighting. She can also grow wings.
Weaknesses: Well first off her entire being is in a constant war with itself, being a mix between a demon and angel, so her emotions affect what is is control, meaning if she doesn't stay calm she totally flips and depending on which one is in control can cause massive damage.
But aside from that, her magic abilities rely on her energy, and using too much drains her, and more powerful spells require her to use a staff or she can die from the strain. She can only teleport to places she can see, and telekinesis is limited to what she can see, and had the mental strength to move. Growing wings literally rip and change her muscle, skin and bone structure and cause her excruciating pain.
Other: She doesn't know her own birthday, but she thinks she's either a Libra or a Virgo because that's when she was created, at the cusp of both signs. She's mute as well.

Name: Derrick Lightthorn
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Species: Ailuranthrope(Werecat)
Looks: As a human he is around five nine with messed up black hair, and green eyes. His skin is an olive color and he has a generally feral look about his features.
As a feline he is a larger than average, lynx with the same green eyes as his human self.
Clothing: He wears a flannel shirt with jeans and running shoes.
Personality: He is friendly, despite his feral appearance he is actually as calm as it can get with his kind. And even then, he's got a short temper, but can easily be calmed with a few moments of self control.
Weapon/Power/Talents: He's not an Ace, but he's able to turn himself into a lynx. And that's his weapon, power and talent.
Weaknesses: Changing form is strenuous, as he has to change his bone structure and it tends to take a few minutes to be fully changed.
Other: He's a Leo, such a shock right there.

Looks: About 5'5 in height and light tanned skin. He has short black hair and blue eyes.
Clothing: He wears brown robes and boots. Wears a thin gold chain around his neck.
Personality: Quiet, has a short temper and is an introvert. Doesn't care about anybody that wants to start a conversation with him.
Weapon/Power/Talents: He has a short dagger for a weapon. He's good with blades, can control and manipulate water and telepathize.
Weaknesses: Can collapse if overexerts himself, and usually does. Telepathy is strenuous and hydrokinesis is weak when there isn't much moisture and works better on humid days.
Other: Libra.

(You don't need to play Mabinogi to know about this roleplay. All to explain is that this universe (y'know, where my Reunion, The Medium, and How to Deal With Mythical Wars take placs) is in a semi-kinda-medieval present day but with magic > science. Little to no electricity and electronics exist.)

Name: Vladan Veitkov [V-don Vey-Coh]

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Species: 60% Demon 40% Dragon -- ACE

Looks: He considers himself tall, standing at the height of 6 feet. Vladan's hair is a midnight black, so dark it is hued an oxford blue. He has even, beige colored skin, contrasting with his eye color, shaded a cloudy, muted grey. His eyes differed from each other, each having it's own unique dark-blue and/or white rays, overturning the grey coloration to a after-storm of blue, gray and silver. However, he has slit-eyes, which gives him a reptilian appearance. A shining silver necklace hangs around his neck, it's thin argent pieces intertwining with one another. Vladan's hair reaches a inch or 2 above his chin, resting a little below his sharp jawline. His sleek, side-swept bangs cover his left eye- along with a 3 inch long scar that crawls in a jagged line from below his eyebrow to a little below his cheekbone. He has sharpened teeth, and long canines that peak out from inside his mouth. Has a cuff earring on his right ear. The top piercing has a cuff that is connected to the bottom piercing with several thin chains and a stud. He has a tattoo starting from the base of his neck, the body of a black and silver dragon connects onto his arms, done to the finest detail. The tattoo is well done, featuring every thunder-grey scale, ebony spike and obsidian claw to it's maximum potential. The dragon tattoo ends at the base of Vladan's spine, where dark flames spew from the tip of the reptile's tail. The tattoo is basically a self portrait of himself in his alternative dragon form.

Clothing: A black muscle shirt and dark shredded pants.

Personality: Overconfident and arrogant, Vladan likes to think himself better than anyone else. He talks in a sly matter, using his words to coo others into doing as he says. Manipulative, easily angered and extremely hard to please, once he realizes that he can't maneuver someone into doing as he says, he relies on brute force. Vladan is a overall very overbearing individual.

Weapon/Power/Talents: Congenital insensitivity to pain, being harmed physically does not faze him in any way. However, though he can not feel hurt, he is still completely mortal and can still die. Vladan's special talent is ability to read minds and ability to influence actions to a certain extent, but only if he has eye to eye contact with the other person. His third talent is due to his draconian descent, he has the ability to shape shift into a large onyx dragon--though he can't do anything special in that form other then fly and breathe flames. Prefers distance over melee, is skilled with ranged weapons like crossbows and sniper rifles, and can manage with a spear as well.

Weaknesses: Vladan has arachnophobia and is an alcoholic[He drinks to forget, and becomes a huge womanizer when drunk]. His ability's frailties are already stated in the Weapon/Power/Talents tab. He is very weak in hand on hand combat.

Other: Scorpio.

Name: Skyler
Age: 20
Gender: female
Species: 5% Human, 30% Demon, 25% ghost, and 15% werewolf, 25% mermaid. ---ACE

Looks: Long, straight black hair with bright blue tips that turn into flames when she is angry. 6'5'' tall. Gray pupils and a pale, ghost-like face with fangs almost as sharp as a wolves, She sometimes rubs the lightning shape scar on her wrist when she is about to do something bad, or wrong. Her eyes turn a furious deep red when she is angered. She can turn into a mermaid at will when she is in water. So that means she doesn't automatically turn into one.

Clothing: A black t-shirt with purple flames on it, and leggings with purple flames on the bottom. She also wears a gold bracelet with a wolf charm on it. When she is a mermaid she has a greenish-blue tail, and a magenta top.

Personality: Skyler is very outgoing, loves, and hates crowds, depending on her mood. She loves to steal stuff and then give it to her friends. You do not want to make skyler angry or your hair might catch on fire.

Weapon/Power/Talents: Her weapon is her fingernails which turn into claws when she is attacking. She can turn invisible, and transparent like a ghost. During a full moon, or at will, she can turn into a wolf. She can transform into any animal, mythical or not. Skyler is very good at telekinesis.
Her mermaid powers also help because she is a Siren and can lure people towards her. She tries to hide her mermaid powers because she doesn't want to draw attention to it.

Weaknesses: Her weaknesses are, the full moon, salt being poured in a circle around her, when people make her angry, and sharks.

Age: 19
Gender: Female
Species: 50% Human 50% Cat

Looks: She has cat like ears covered in tannish brown fur. She has long black hair she often wears in many small braids with silver and gold beads on the ends. She has tannish brown skin and a cat tail that is also covered in tannish brown fur. Her eyes are usually golden yellow, but change at night depending on the moon. If its the full moon her eyes are silvery, if its the new moon they're midnight blue, and all other nights they're gold flecked with silver.

Clothing: She wears many gold bracelets that somehow turn silver at night. She wears a gold earring in each ear. Her dress is sandy brown that is pleated on the skirt and has gold hems.

Personality: Kind, Caring, can be very shy with strangers. Can act very cat like, such as sneaking around, acrobatics, balancing.

Weapon/Power/Talents: She can shape shift into any animal or animal hybrid (Ex: Cat+Eagle). She can talk to other animals, use healing magic, and tap into the natural magic in her environment. She also has cat's claw weapons she uses in human form

Weaknesses: She gains the weaknesses of the animal she switches into. Hybrids tend to be unstable and she may suddenly be forced out of it. She can't use healing magic in animal form or use the natural magic in animal form. Healing magic takes a lot of energy and healing herself leaves her powerless for a few minutes. Healing others sacrifices some of her health and leaves her exhausted. Some environments greatly limit her magic capabilities (namely cities). Her natural magic directly connects to the environment so most magic creatures living there are probably immune (Ex: Ocean=water magic, and most magical water critters are immune to water magic)

Name: Coeda Morrow

Age: 17

Gender: Nonbinary, they/them, she/her

Species: 3/4ths Fae and 1/4th Dragon

Looks: Most of the time, they don't put much effort into their appearance, so they generally look pretty rough. The form they've used the most and therefore hardly have to put in any effort to maintain is that of a young girl, with rough black hair that remains "mysteriously" untangled and reaches down to the middle of her back. Her eyes are grey and her skin is somewhat tanned, and she is overall quite small in stature. This form allows them to appear less threatening and (hopefully) catch their opponents off-guard.

Clothing: They tend to wear loose-fitting but warm clothing, such as sweatshirts or sweaters, even in the summertime. Due to their nature, their clothes usually look worn.

Personality: Seemingly very laid-back, they do what they want. However, when the time comes to stand up for something important to them, they will not back down. While naturally inclined towards kindness instead of evil, they always have their own agenda. A bit of a trickster. Chaotic Good.

Weapon/Power/Talents: If other options are available, they will choose them instead of fighting, but they are still a formidable opponent. They are capable of a subtle manipulation of emotion through the voice. (1) While they do have access to fire-related abilities, they're quite weak. (2) They can theoretically change their form (3), though it's been a long time since they've done so, and they have no plans to anytime soon. They can "see" the souls of others (4); they've worked out how to parse what they see, for the most part. They carry a pair of daggers, but know how to use other weapons.

Weaknesses: Though they may seem like an intimidating opponent, they lack experience; they tend to interfere indirectly and don't have a lot of practice with fighting. Their fire powers aren't strong, and they are vulnerable to various traditional methods of warding off both Fae and Dragons (e.g. iron, salt barriers, etc.). They'll accept offerings and even make deals, and this could be used to one's advantage if someone managed to discover one of the less-voluntary methods of making fae deals.

Other: Not an Ace, as they never took the test. They don't have a definitive living situation, as they drift around often. Staying in a hotel as of now. Gemini.

Also, quick note: I should mostly be on for sure around 10 PM - 4 AM site time, which I hope is ok?
