Syxx shrugged. "I was going to go hunt, but all the humans scared the deer away." He half complained, but was mostly stating a fact.

Moon jumped up when she seen two boots pass by her hole. She froze and a soft whimper escaped her. Luckily the boots continued walking.

Tempest nodded,"Yep all their annoying thumping sends all the good prey running! I haven't found a decent elk in weeks." She was certain she heard something walking nearby.

Raziel kept flying, unaware of the hunter beneath him. He was looking straight now, and was turning around to go back into his cave, his scales changing from silver to green, the color that depicted he was calm.

Syxx nodded. Yeah. Therefore, I prefer to hunt in the water. I like fish better than deer, anyways." He said, then looked at the dragon. "Do you want me to bring you some fish when I go hunting later?"

Alex suddenly stopped in his tracks and stared at two large dragons.

"Dang it.."he growled and swung his tranquilizer gun up pointing it at Tempest then back to Syxx. He minus well take them out. They could be good to sell.

Syxx froze, turned his head as he smelled something, then instantly let out a loud roar and flared up his wings. He stepped in front of Tempest and roared again, his eyes narrowing as he took a defensive pose against the hunter.

Raziel stopped short in midair as a loud roar sounded. He turned toward it to see two dragons, one flaring it's wings up and the behind it. Instinctively, he darted down toward them and noticed a hunter that seemed to be aiming a gun of some sort at the blue one. His scales turned bright red as he seemed to get angry at the hunter, and soon, he was on the ground, growling at the hunter.

Alex froze and stared at the three dragons. There's no way he could take all of them. He would have to use at least 15 tranquilizer darts for all of them. It takes about five shots to knock one out.

"Shoot" he yelled and took aim once more. "I've been tracking all day...there's no way I'm leaving" Alex said as if he was talking to them. He clicked the trigger as one of the darts flew towards the dragons.

Tempest saw the hunter and a growl issued from her throat. A hunter had attacked her once and she wasn't going to let what happened then happen again. She channeled energy into forming an orb that contained a swirling thunder storm. She aimed carefully and sent it flying at the hunter. It exploded into angry clouds a few meters away from the hunter. She dodged the tranquilizer dart.

Syxx was hit by the tranquilizer dart, but he only looked at it, looked at the hunter, and rushed forward, roaring in anger. He slashed at the hunter with sharp claws, his eyes narrowed even further as he stretched out his neck to bite the hunter.

Raziel let out an angry roar as well, taking flight again as he circled the hunter from above. His scales were still bright red, mixed with a purple, which was the color of alertness. Suddenly, an idea popped into his head. He quickly flew toward his cave, soon arriving at it. He began to bend the gold from his pile of riches, and soon he'd made himself armor. He began his journey back to the spot where he was, still roaring in anger.

Tempest quickly thought of an idea. She created several illusions of herself and Syxx as well as some other random dragons. She made sure that they only appeared to the hunter. To Syxx and any other dragons their was some mild distortion in the air.

Alex fell back. His rifle toppled across the earth and hit a tree. He scrambled for his pistol that was strapped to his ankle. He shook and held his breath while rolling backwards. He must've hit a dragon territory because to him there were now at least a thousand or so dragons. Alex pointed his gun at every dragon he thought was there and began to fire everywhere.

Tempest narrowed her eyes trying to keep all her illusions in one piece. They were sapping her energy quickly. She made them weave in patterns that were mesmerizing. They dodged and dipped always being missed by an inch. She hoped someone could do something quickly.

Once Syralth had heard the noises coming from the forest, she quickly flew/fell toward them. (Mostly fell.) Once she came close to the noises, she could see wisps of air and a few dragons surrounding some creature she couldn't quite remember. What's happening here? There some stick thingy that it's holding, and it's shooting more sticks.

Syralth cocked her head, all while in the complete open. She wondered if she should jump in by creating some smoke bombs or if she should lie low and watch.

Syxx kept moving forward, his eyes locked on the hunter, who looked more frightened than ever. He kept roaring hoping to confuse the hunter even more.

Raziel zipped back to the scene, picking the hunter up by his shoulders and darting into the air without warning. "I'll take care of it from here!" He called back to the other two dragons. The armor wore him down some, and kept him from going too high, but he could still fly fast enough and high enough that the hunter would get hurt if they tried to free themselves.

Alex yelled as a dragon took off with him. He tried to loosen the grip of the dragon but failed. He tried to reach for his knife and could feel the grip. If only he could grab it.

He began to swing his legs, back and forth. Finally he grabbed the knife and sliced one of the claws gripping his shoulders.

Moon rushed out of the trees and looked up at the hunter and dragon.

"Wheres the dragon taking him?" She said to no one in particular.

Raziel let out a roar as a sharp pain ran through one of his claws. He stopped gripping the hunter with that foot, but kept holding on with the other. Assuming the hunter could understand him, he spoke loud enough to them. "I wouldn't do that unless you want to be a dead human!! A fall from this height would kill you!!" He warned, his scales changing from red to orange (pain) and swirling in different patterns across his body. He kept flying in circles by now, scanning the area to look for a good place to drop the hunter off. He spotted a village not far off and darted toward it, still roaring.

Syxx watched as the dragon flew off with the hunter, then collapsed on the ground and let out a puff of air, only to be greeted by Moonlight and a question. He looked at her and sighed. "Not sure." He said, still watching the dragon.

Alex ignored everything and tried to swipe the knife at the other leg. He finally sliced the leg and looked down at how far it was. Suddenly he grasped and tried to wiggle free.

"I have a slim chance of surviving...and that's fine!" He yelled.

Tempest released her grip on the illusions and they melted away like running water colors. She clutched her head as it felt like it was throbbing. She soon turned to Stxx and saw him talking with another dragon. She lumbered over.

Raziel let out another roar as his other foot was cut. He dove down, getting close enough to the ground to drop the hunter in the center of the down. He let out another roar, then darted back the way he came, disappearing under the forest's canopy.

Alex rolled on the floor and grit his teeth. A couple more stabs and he could've actually gotten that beast. He looked around and seen the town and growled. The dragons thought he was done? Oh no...he'd be back.

Syxx looked at Syralth and let out another puff of air. "Because I'm tired, little one." He said, letting out a slight chuckle.

Ezra watched as a dragon flew over him, carrying someone, whom he'd identified as Alex. Confused, he dashed the way the dragon had come from, and soon stumbled out into a large field. He looked seriously frightened to see two hatchlings and two adult dragons. Quickly and frantically, he stumbled back into the forest, not looking back as he ran.

"Hi, I'm Tempest," she told the little dragon. She flicked her tail slowly and felt her vision refocusing. She'd need to take a break from using her gifts soon.

"I'll be back" Her curiosity growing. She pranced into the woods following towards the human scent.

Syralth nuzzled Syxx with her tiny muzzle and replied to Tempest, "I'm Syralth!" she said cheerfully, then cocked her head again. "Are you tired too?"

"Very... I probably did an overkill with that illusion..." Tempest said. She spread her wings slightly absorbing the sunlight. She curled her tail around herself as she sat down.

Syxx nodded, then smiled when Syralth nuzzled him. He pushed himself up into a sitting position and sighed, letting his scales soak in the last of the day's sunlight.

Raziel landed not far from the group of dragons, he managed to stay standing, but used his wings to keep his injured legs off the ground. He watched as one hatchling left to go look at something, and as the other kindly introduced herself. Limping over, he called to the others as he let his armor melt back into coins. "Hey!! What did I miss?"
