I lost 6 auctions because of 3 people who waited 2 seconds before the auction closed!!! I'm going to flip out!!!

But, I can say I do the same every once in a while

Oh no that's fine, I don't mind wars. That's what an auctions all about. It's just so irritating sometimes when you wait for 30 mins to win 7 creatures for really good deals...only to get people bidding 2 seconds before the bidding closes -.- just annoying

But oh well...past is in the past...

Yea it is annoying I know. I've only ever won once on them. I think I'm just going to stick with earned ncg ec and trading.

I know that feeling! I mean, if the bidder your bidding against is logged off bid anyway you want. But I got so annoyed the other day, I bid 10 seconds before it closed and it said I won and when I refreshed it said I lost by only like: 100 đŸĒ™

@cutiecupcake

I kept losing auctions, so I decided to stay up till 2am where I live for the auction because I really wanted it haha, I bid at the literal last 30 seconds, I said hey I'll give sniping a try... But ahhhhh the other user bid at the last 5 seconds and my Internet lagged up >///< hahah, I fail as a sniper...

I do too ☚ī¸ but I think that's a good thing unless the creature is to die for. I've sniped before for a creature on my wishlist. I bid the last 7 seconds.

@cutiecupcake

I lost a wishlist creature and so many good cheap names hahha >///< but I think the bidding and sniping makes the auctions challenging and fun XD there's only the disadvantage of the time differences haha

It's annoying but then again I've won auctions by snipping in the last 5 seconds so I can't really complain. It's just part of the game!

What I do wish is instead of it claiming your entire bid, it do it more like Ebay where if you bid 500 EC but the person before you only bid 100, your bid goes to 101 and if someone offers over 500 then you're outbid. 😋

yes and no it depends for me really

if the snipper never bid on the auction and then bids on the last sec then yes its really annoying

but if the snipper was a active bidder then i completely understand if he/she bids on the last sec

(yes i do it to sometimes but i bid on the ac)

@dareexxis

I really do agree with you one that one.
I also think another reason why some people have done it, is because there is a massive time zone diffence for some people and they can't be on when most other people are so they may actually not see the auction until it's about to end

@darexxis @kieraap

Why would you "inflate" the cost to you though ? Making it less of a "deal", unless it's just competitive spirit, if you have the time, dedication, nerve 😋 to be there for the moment. I think it's wise to hold off.

I have no issue with sniping at all... I've been on all sides of it.

Perhaps hide the amounts bid until the auction is over... but that won't stop the ready and willing sniper/bidder 😋

@cutiecupcake Theirs nothing wrong with it its not against the rules and if i ever actually bid on one i would do that to!

@bingo @darexxis @kieraap @veritaspunk @Daphne

Yes, I agree with all of you. I can definitely say I have snipped to get a creature I have been waiting for. But, it's also annoying when someone who hasn't been bidding snipes XD

But, you know what...where would the fun be if we didn't have snipers? There would be less competitive bids 😃

@cutiecupcake
Technically GOOD snipers wait until the last minute to bid at all! It prevents the price from going up to high to begin with, thus a better deal. That's the technicality of it anyway, it still stinks for the previous bidders. xD

Hahahaha yes you all are right. I have auction sniped before for...I forgot what bit, I know I've sniped like last week XD so honestly this forum page was just to rant a little because I got mad that day lol so...with all honesty...

If your gonna win a bid...it's good to snipe...determining how badly you want it 😃
