slash looked down from her place on her rock watching the pack members mingle, she saw meadow walking by and asked "hey, meadow! how is oak doing?"

North quietly shuffled around the pack, ears back, tail low. The smaller he could make himself the better. Glancing around, North wasn't sure what he was to do first.

North nearing jumped out of his fur when he was called. Him? Patrol? He'd never done that before. But if Slash said it was ok, North felt less jumpy about it. He nodded and waited to follow.

North nodded and head, well... north. He started marking the border. After he was done, North stood up straight for the first time in a while. Taking a deep breath, he shook himself and let out a sigh. "It's a nice day today..."

while slash was marking the border she heard a rustle in the bushes, a large fox jumped from behind the bushes and aimed for her throat, catching her throat and weighing her down slash fell down with a loud whine.

Meadow heard a few shrieks and some sort of struggle coming from a while away. She didn't feel comfortable leaving Oak on his own so picked him up by the scruff of his neck and ran.
