I'm new here. You can call me Heavyn. Seems like a pretty cute site; I'm excited to learn how to play. I'm a 30 year old female from the US. I tend to come and go from sites like these... I might be on every day, or I might disappear for a few weeks/months at a time. My attention can be fickle. 😋 If anyone is willing to be friends with me, I'd like to be able to complete the Getting Started steps.

Egg Cave is a fun adoptables web site where you can adopt creatures, share them, take care of them, and make new friends. Mainly, you can collect and raise over 500 different creatures. You can get creatures daily at the cave. Creatures can die if you don’t feed them but, they will turn immortal at level 2000+, meaning they will not die. You can level up and grow creatures by getting them views, clicks and feeds. Feeding creatures is the most effective way to gain EC or eggcoins (the site’s currency). You can use EC to buy creatures, items and backgrounds called travels.

Words to know:
UFT: Up for Trade
NFT: Not for Trade
TNT: Transfer not Trade (do not offer)
UFA: Up for Auction or Up for Adoption
EC: Egg Coins (Currency - free)
CC: Cave Cash (Currency - costs real money)
CSP: Cash Shop Park Creature
TA: Travel Agency
PM: Private Message

When starting to trade, make sure you read peoples’ profiles and the creature profiles before asking them if something is UFT. I recommend learning how much a creature or item is worth before trying to trade for it.

How to feed quickly:
Follow these steps:
1) Ctrl+click all the eggs
2) Click the first tab
3) Feed the egg
4) Hit ctrl+w
5) Keep your mouse in the same place (food) and continue clicking then ctrl+w

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, you guys. I'm still looking around and trying to discover things. Haven't managed to get a pet from that asteroid yet, I don't think. Is it a bit stingy? Are the creatures you find there more valuable, then?

And as you said you might not be on for weeks at a time I have come to learn that pets die if you don't care for them so that's something to know. So I hope you enjoy your time here with us!

@heavyn yes, odds of finding things at the asteroid are very rare, as are finding things at the Leila Oasis and Thief Shop (although these are slightly less rare). The pets you find at all of the above places are a lot more valuable. Hope this helps!

Hi! I'll send you a friend request in just a moment. Thanks for the info about dying pets. That's pretty different from the other sites I've played before. Not sure how I feel about it. I think I saw mention that once they hit 2k clicks they become immortal, though? I guess I'll have to make that a goal for all of my pets I'm going to keep.

The creatures have to become level 2000 (it depends on different stats for different creatures - not necessarily clicks) to become immortal.
You can visit the Mysterious Asteroid (MA) once a day. The other two you can visit as many times as you want - you may be lucky and find something.
With the Thief Shop (TS), you may find an egg (they can be very expensive), but it may be a fake so you might not get a creature. Therefore you might want to be fairly careful if you want to spend a lot of EC on one (they can be up to 500,000EC!) - they can still be fakes even if they are very expensive. Sometimes the TS is closed so you can't find any eggs.
At the Leila Oasis, there are creatures that are endangered i.e. they used to be normal cave creatures but now you can only find them there if you are lucky.
