JUDGE THIS ROUND 2 STORY PLZ! @smilies

"You're a monster." He said, malice tainting his words. His lapis lazuli colored eyes were clouded with abhorrence and malevolence.
"No, Reese, please, just listen to me!" I pleaded. Reese was the only connection I had to reality, to hope, to life. Without him, the shadows came back, the shadows that caused this all.
"No, you have to listen to me now, Cassandra!" Reese yelled, and I fell silent. Reese never yelled. He never called me Cassandra either. He was always the peaceful one. His voice was always so amicable, so affable.
"All our lives, we have been best friends. I never kept a secret from you.

TO BE EDITED I HAVE TO GO TO RIDING I WILL EDIT IT SOON! 😃

@smilies NEW STORY! XD Foreign Forensic.

"Hey, James, off for another day at the sight?" Brad asked his voice scragly and hoarse.
"Oh yeah, they found so many bones there." James replied rolling his eyes.
"You think they're dino bones?" Brad replied.
"Haha, I wish. They look too small, probably animal bones." Brad heard James laugh rudely.
"Ah, well anyways, good luck, and goodbye." I hear Brad say as he turns leaving.
"Goodbye Brad."
James quickly packed his briefcase, and walked out of the office to his car. He breathed a heavy sigh. "I have no clues what those bones are from, only a few have been found so far. They're actually very small, could be fish bones for all I could know! Don't they know I'm just an archaeologist!? Send a Forensic Anthropologist!" The lonely old man started his car, and began to drive to the site. It was an old and wild place, overgrown weeds, a dingy lake, and a dirty circle where a bunch of small bones were found. Once there, James stopped his car, and got out. He breathed in the musty air, and quickly started to stumble his way through the jungle of weeds. Once through (with a few dead yellow and brown weeds in his hair) James pushed through to the clearing. Still the same dirt. he muttered something vile under his breath, and began to get to work.
"Stupid office, don't know what they expect of me nowadays! I swear one more pointless call like this and I'm DONE! I should start to think of retirement anyway! Huh, what's this?"

In James' palm was a larger bone, bigger from the rest. In his rapid mutterings, he'd begun to dig deeper. "Oh my word, t-these are!?" He quickly stopped muttering, and began to dig franticly.
The bone was human. As he dug deeper, more bones of more shapes and sizes began to emerge. All human. Once he could find no more, James stopped digging, and laid the bones in front of him. 'A complete human skeleton...' he thought grimly.
He picked up the human skull and gasped, almost dropping it. Numerous cracks and deep gashes marred the dirt bone. Whoever did this did it intentionally. Nothing else could've made the scars but an object held by human hands. James carefully examined all the bones. More vicious and jagged cuts. He picked through them all, until once again he held the human skull. When he finally spoke, he spoke in a soft whisper, barely audible.
"Oh my, how could someone do this? And who?"

"Me....." I hear a familiar hoarse voice whisper in my ear.

Like it?

This one is called.... *thinks* Rush of the Wind. But then I might change that.

It was so serene, the wind that blew past, coaxing the trees that waved, almost to a beat. Clouds shrouded the sun's weak rays, but that day was so tranquil, and still. A rush of calm came over the girl, and she took a deep breath to steady herself.

Crouching down, she then pushed off from the grassy ground. And ran. It was an ecstasy, a delight to feel the wind in her brown locks of flowing hair, the wind blowing against her baggy shirt.

She felt alive, unlike in those boring and sweaty mathematic lessons. There were no stinking boys with sweat dripping down their shaggy and uncut hair, or gossiping girls talking about lipstick and boys. In school, in those crowded hot classrooms, she felt like no one, like a empty shell. She didn't have any friends at school. but running was her friend.

When she ran, she felt as light as the air, as if she was riding on an unseen froce that took her to unknown reaches. But she also was a lone spirit, dancing in the wind, all by herself, over that grassy expanse.

She fancied herself as an albatross, riding those winds, drifting. Forever she would go on, before her happiness ended, when that dreaded bell rang.
_______
Is it ok? She is ALONE because she has no friends...
*pokes above*

TEZ CONTINUING - Doesn alone as not part of society count? Cos the thing is leaning towards freedom now..
_____________
When the school bell rang, all that awaited her was homework. And dinner. THe same, meaningless routine.

Every day, at night, when she was supposed to be asleep, she looked out at the stars. This was another joy, imagining what it would be like, with the wind and those sparkling, twinkling stars above her as she ran.

Society bound her, bound her and made her NOT her. Running was her spirit, running was what she was made for. She and the cool touch of nature, it was her world.

But she couldn't do it. After all, she had responsibilites. As a child, she had to work to help her parents. Yet she didn't want to be alone in that horde of people, society.

She wanted to be away from it, for herself to be running alone, in the rushing wind and under the starry sky.

Samantha slipped the goggles onto her face. "Last chance. You sure you want this?" Dan put his hand on her shoulder. This might be the last time she ever saw him. "Absolutely. I need to get out of here." Sam hissed. "Mm. You know I can't come with you, righ--" "We've already been over this, Daniel! There's no turning back! I'm leaving this island! I want out of this stupid organization!" she yelled over the wind. "I'll tell them....I'll tell them you jumped off the cliff and died." Dan said, handing Sam a backpack. "...Bye Dan. See you around, I guess." Samantha took the backpack from Dan and jumped. "Sam!" Daniel screamed after her. Sam plunged into the dark abyss.

Dark, dark, dark. Can't see. Blackness everywhere...

Sam's eyes probably wouldn't be in her skull by now, if it weren't for the goggles, because of the wind that was currently roaring in her ears. The wind whipped her hair against her back, stinging her skin. Sam pulled the cord on her parachute and began to fall slowly and gently.
