Deciding is a very painful process, and I know it must be a huge disappointment not to be chosen to continue. I'd like to give more placings but that would only make it worse for some. The simple truth is that there can only be one winner, and that for that to happen others must be eliminated. Considering setting, theme, feelings, plot, view point, creativity, language... Maybe it was simply the topic that let you down, maybe it wasn't your strong point and had it been a different one, you would have excelled. It's just the way it goes. However, ALL OF YOU ARE AMAZING WRITERS AND I COULD SPEND ALL DAY READING YOUR STORIES (if I had the time) 😃
