BEFORE YOU FLAME THIS IDEA.... read it 😉

I was thinking maybe each year a new color alt of a rare creature could be released on the day the original was. FOR EXAMPLEEEE

The Tine...


It could be...

SO. The original creatures still hold their super-rare values in their unique color BUT now they are re-released in a more common form 😃

So feel free to debate about this but I can't see how it could be a bad thing as it wouldn't affect creature values already in place 😸

The color doesn't matter, really, as much as the c reature itself, thus making Tine values still drop.

I like this, it is just, tines are rare as is. And the eggconomy is already whacked up. But this might happen someday 😉

I just think it would hurt the originality of eggcave.

And having those creatures in that color in the first place is like a reward for trading, or being on eggcave for the first place.

@lizardfeather It could hurt it, it makes Ian's job way too easy. How terrible would eggcave be if Ian just re-released pets in different colors instead of actually using users ideas.

Also, pets are certain colors for reasons. The tine is pink, for valentines day, same with the treelar being green. Changing the color would be defeating the purpose.

Meh... I'm not a fan of this idea. It takes away some of the achievement and sentimental feeling from the creatures. True, they are a different color, but it just doesn't seem right to release the super rares ever again.

@balletninja Hmm I was thinking more of just re-releasong one per holiday along with a new creature. As for the Tine Recolor I also have a lavender version 😸 I could probably do white too 😃

@lizardfeather We can dream, but I almost hope this isn't implemented. It would sorta ruin eggcave for me. Not to be a downer but I think it would need to be thought over carefully by Ian, but everyone has their opinions.

It's a matter of opinion I really don't think this will harm the sentiment of the original Tine, it's like the Balrog, the 09s are special and came from the Ghosty plot but the exact same is from the CS. The sentiment is there, but it just goes to show A CRRATURE HAS BEEN RE-RELEASED BEFORE. Except this time around there'd be an actual differentiation to show off 😸

It's a really interesting and unique idea, but I'm not quite sure it would work. ;] I personally think old creatures shouldn't be re-released at all.

@Lizardfeather: I'm sorry that offended you. I was merely speaking my mind at the time. I don't mean to say that your idea is worthless, it's just that Ian has rejected all of the previous ideas of re-releasing Tines/Onnys/ect.
Once again, I'm sorry; I wasn't really thinking about how I worded that post. Please excuse my insensitivity.
