Creature not evolving

I got a notification at 5:57 PM that one of my critters had hatched.
(This one: https://eggcave.com/egg/1970085)

The profile now says "Hatched: 4 May 2017", but the image of the hatched Kakakuona just isn't appearing.
Are creatures not evolving in real time any more or is this a bug?

I think they're supposed to evolve in real time, but I've noticed that you usually have to recache creature images.

Yeah... I forgot to post that I tried recaching the critter in Fireforx, Chrome and IE. So cache was clearly NOT the problem.

The Kakakuona has evolved today though.

@lykhaos117 @silverserpent I've updated the evolve function to ensure that creature images are being recached when they are evolving. 😊

This should be fixing this situation. If anything else happens in the future where image stay the same, please let me know.

Edit: Same thing is still happening. I got an evolution notification some hours ago. (Same creature.)
Doesn't matter how many times I try to refresh and recache or if I open the critter up in a new browser. The image won't update to the evolved version.

It evolved (switched to teen stage image) the day after the notification. The image just wouldn't update on the day itself.
Now it's frozen though, so I won't evolve it further and I've not had any other critters hatch or evolved lately so I can't say if it's a recurring error, sorry. '

Edit, May 9: Today this critter has hatched: https://eggcave.com/egg/2058333
Notification showed up at 9:43 AM, but at 10:12 AM the child stage image is still a no-show in my trio of browsers, re-cached and re-refreshed multiple times. :/

Edit 2, May 9: The image finally updated to the new stage as the clock passed 1:00 PM.

@silverserpent after reviewing this further, you're totally right. Creature images weren't be recached at all when they evolved.

This bug has been fixed. Topic closed. Please post a new topic if this happens again, but it shouldn't anymore! ❤️
