in Roleplaying

Should the low member numbers in the Clan and Group be fixed via adding in a form to create background characters?

Summary

As of 5/14/2017 12:40 EggCave Time:
It is roughly just after noon. The snow has let up.
Waspclaw and Smokepaw are in the middle of battle training, with Waspclaw teaching Smokepaw a new battle tactic.
Pathwalker, originally sent by Cobra to spy upon SpruceClan, has instead decided to give secrets of the Serpentine to SpruceClan. At this moment her intentions are unclear.
Soul gave prey she caught to one of her kits after the Clan apprentice strayed onto Serpentine land, this event was seen by Wall who at the time didn't know the apprentice was Soul's kit. Wall then proceeded to chase down the apprentice, managing to get half of the prey back, alongside bringing Wishpaw into Serpentine camp. Wishpaw proceeded to mess up things within SpruceClan, until she was captured by both Cobra and Wall. Wishpaw currently sits prisoner in the Serpentine camp.
Cobra has questioned Wall and Soul on the events, and having enough information, called a meeting in the Serpentine. He plans to hold a Trial for Wishpaw and Soul alike.
Foxheart and Stormclaw fought over custody of ??? who ended up being taken in to SpruceClan by Stormclaw who got the advantage of the fight. ??? currently is being cared for by Quicksilver.

Intro

SpruceClan once held two rivals, StreamClan and StoneClan, with each of the three laying claim to an area surrounding a large pond. After a series of drought, famine, disease and war broke out amongst WillowClan and StoneClan, they crumbled while SpruceClan kept to themselves, reinforcing their borders and watching over their prey carefully.
Nearly 17 season cycles and one leader later, SpruceClan remains the last living remnant of the three Clans and the former territories of StreamClan and StoneClan growing home to the rogue group The Serpentine, a fierce group that borders SpruceClan on both sides of the pond.

The Territory, Prey and Predators

SpruceClan and the Serpentine both claim home around a pond lying within a temperate forest. Each group’s territory sits nicely into the forest, with a few creeks, streams and brooks interseeding the tree covered landscape.
SpruceClan holds less territory than the Serpentine, given that the Serpentine lays hold over two Clans territories. SpruceClan on the other hand, has access to more trees and holds more shelter from the weather.
SpruceClan’s camp in located at the heart of their territory, within a circle of trees, with a wall woven from branches and leaves. Each den is made in the roots from trees, and added on with woven walls, save for the leader’s den, which is formed from a hollowed out tree stump. With a woven roof.
The Serpentine’s camp is located on what was once the StreamClan and StoneClan border, inside of an old and crumbling bear cave, with enough open sleeping spaces to house upwards of sixty cats. The rogues sleep in large piles, except for the Leaders, who choose to sleep in a separate cave located just off from the main entrance.
The groups hunt small birds, squirrels, mice, frogs and lizards as their prey. They have a much larger view of enemies, mainly bears, mountain lions, opossums, badgers and foxes, with others lurking around.

Rules

- No mary sue’s, god modding or powerplaying
- No Clan cats can have the names Sun, Moon, Stone, Stream, Spruce, Lion, Tiger, Leopard or Star in their name, save for Clan Leaders
- Keep pelt colors and eye colors restricted to those commonly seen on actual cats, an exception for eye color is made on Prophecy Cats.
- No double naming Clan cats or rogue cats(There can be a rogue named Blaze and a Clan cat named Blazeheart, but not two rogues named Blaze or two Clan cats named Blazeheart and Blazefur)
- The only exception to the above rule is if the cat that shares a prefix(Clan) or name(rogue) is established as dead. Either in the RP or dead before the RP starts.
- Max of three HP per person
- You cannot be leader and deputy, not can you be medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice. The same rule is for the Serpentine, where you cannot be two leaders, or leader and step-up
- Your cats can die, they can get in fights but you cannot directly kill another cat without their consent. The cat can end up dying as a result afterwards without permission needed as the owner makes the choice to kill them.
- Make at least two cats, to keep numbers up
- If you understand all of the rules put your cat’s parents in the other section
- No unnecessary drama or yelling/excessive and unnecessary use of caps and punctuation.
- No unapproved major plots or storylines without confirming it with me prior to starting it
- A single cat has trouble fighting off a fox alone, and stands no chance against the higher tier creatures alone. Don't have your characters doing something unreasonable like fighting a fox alone and leaving without a scratch or killing a bear on their own. Cannot happen. Your cat would most likely be that bears dinner.
- Break any of these rules more than three times and you're gone. You will receive three strikes/warnings before you're done.
- Be literate and try to post 3+ sentences each post.
- Don’t get too far without involving another person
- Past and personality must be at least two sentences. Please give me details on them. The only exception to the past requirement is if the character is a newborn kit or a kit that is under five moons.
- If you have any questions feel free to PM me about anything. I would be glad to help

Two Very Important Things to Note

It is about the middle of leaf-bare, it is snowing and has been snowing for the past five days. It is very cold, and prey is scarce. As a result not every patrol brings back prey and those that do bring back hardly enough for every cat. Most cats have to go to bed hungry, within SpruceClan at least. The smaller numbers in The Serpentine means that less cats have to be fed.
If you decide to use first person POV, you MUST, and I mean you will get a strike as if you broke a rule if you don't do this, you absolutely must state which POV you are using. If you don't state what POV you are using I will consider it a rule break, and you will receive the appropriate warnings.

We may now begin. It is roughly midmorning, and the dawn patrol for SpruceClan is just returning. The cats on the patrol were Silentfall, Spiritpaw, Cloudspots, and Deathlight. Wolfwind currently sits on guard outside the camp entrance. In the Serpentine the cats are just beginning to wake up.

~~~~~
Smokepaw awoke with a jolt, another dream scaring him awake. It had been a few moons since he was able to sleep comfortably. Well three moons actually. He couldn't help but be haunted in his dreams. His first mentor had been killed three moons prior, allegedly by Viperpad. Although Smokepaw highly doubted that fact.
He had taken to getting poppy seeds from the medicine cats, but even that had its limits. And with the cold weather they had refused him the past moon. He stood up, knowing that he was exhausted from his restless sleep, and headed out into the camp, hoping that the snow would help to wake him up a bit more.
??? is in third person, so is Stormclaw. Foxheart does first person though.
Foxheart: I woke up in the dark cave in which us leaders slept. I had slept all night but it felt like I'd only slept an hour. I walked out of the cave and towards the caves full of all the other cats in the Serpentine. They are all asleep. Typical. I screamed at them "GET UP!" I then walked back up to the fairly warm cave, it was too cold to stand around and do nothing.
???: The kit lay in the snow covered forest. The trees were bare, she was cold. She had nobody to go to, nobody who could help her. She yelped every time a slight sound came. She hoped somebody would come and find her soon...
Stormclaw: Stormclaw woke up. She had had a fairly good sleep. She was still tired though. She walked out of her den quietly and went to the centre of their territory and sat there. She kept quiet, she didn't want to wake the rest of the clan.
{Waspclaw}
I noticed Smokepaw walking outside the apprentice den, looking tired off their paws. I understood the apprentice had been having trouble sleeping ever since the murder of his old mentor. I could understand how he felt, I hadn't of been getting much sleep after the incident either, although i'm sure we have different reasons. However, no matter the sleepless nights, life must go on and we must serve our clan. I padded up to him and bluntly told him we need to train. He needed to know that the clan had to come first before any single cat within it. It was harsh, but clan life inst made for soft cats. And so he couldn't have a break from training for his tired eyes.
{Wall}
I flattened my ears and hissed as Foxheart yowled at us. I quickly finished the mouse I was hiding under my paw, I had caught it near dawn, and I wasnt going to let any other cat steal my prey. The food was scare, and now was a good time to be greedy with it. This cold season for sure well pick of the weak cats.
Smokepaw nodded as he was told they would need to train. He berated himself for feeling sorry for himself, especially when he wasn't the only cat affected by Scarleap's death.
He hurried to the camp entrance hoping Waspclaw would say something about where they were training.
~~~~~

Hazel bit back a snarl at Foxheart's yowl. "There's only three of us here. You don't need to be so loud." he snapped as he stood up.

From his vantage point Hazel was able to spot Cobra leaving his den as well, and the tom quickly veered towards where Pathwalker was currently grooming. The trainee seemed to be constantly ahead of the rest of the group. Always awake before the call and always three pawsteps ahead of the prey.

Hazel assumed it was from her old home, the one she spoke of twice at most. A cold stone cave system where to hunt you had to be ahead of the prey. He shivered not knowing how any cats could live their entire lives underground.

Oh, the apprentices are usually done as first person. Soul is done usually as third person.
@doyoueverwonder

@iiroleplayii

Soul

Soul woke up. She walked out of her cave to the cave where the rest of the cats slept. Soul looked at Foxheart, always the first to wake the cats up. "I'll be gone looking for food," she said to Foxheart. She then saw Cobra. Soul glanced at him before leaving. Then she left. But not without catching the scent of an unfamiliar cat. She shrugged it off though, seeing that food was first priority. Scenting a mice, Soul stalked it, pouncing when she got near. Burying the mouse near camp, she left to find more food. But she forgot the scent of the unfamiliar cat in the process.
~~~
Joypaw
I woke up feeling extremely happy as always. I went on and woke Wishpaw up, who grumbled in defeat after a few minutes. I noticed that Spiritpaw and Hopepaw was gone, probably already awake. Walking out, I hoped to spot my mentor.
~~~
Wishpaw

I grumbled as Joypaw woke me up, again. Fighting the urge to scratch her, I walked out to find my mentor. But I was curious, so I looked into the fresh kill pile. Nothing was in it so I sighed, leaving to find my mentor.
~~~
Hopepaw
I went out to find prey, evn though I wan't suppose to. Soon, I found a mouse. Killing it with a blow from my paw, I brought it back to camp. Then I moved to get a mouse from the fresh kill pile. I then walked to the elder's den. Quietly droping the mouse, I left to greet Spiritpaw who just came back from dawn patrol.
~~~
Spiritpaw

After walking back to camp, I was greeted by Hopepaw quietly. I greeted her back before I went to ask Silentfall what we're doing. While waiting for his response, I looked at the forest wearily.

@thebrokenvibe I like to do first person now, so here I go. All first person.

Cloudspots: I nodded to Wolfwind and made my way to camp. I would ask to go hunting later because the fresh-kill pile yesterday and the day before yesterday were dangerously small. I didn't get the chance to eat! Hopefully, the pile would double in size. The patrol had seen enough prey to at least increase the pile by a mouse or two.

Jadestone: "Joypaw!" I found Joypaw at the entrance of the apprentice den. "Today, we are hunting. I challenge you to catch a mouse and a squirrel!"

Silentfall shook his head at his apprentice as the two returned to camp. "Get some rest for now, I'll get you at sunhigh for training." he said, although even to Silentfall's own ears his voice sounded painfully quiet. He headed away from Spiritpaw, instead choosing to go and lay down at the far end on the camp. He doubted he'd be able to sleep, but he could at least get away from the noise of the Clan waking up.

Spiritpaw

I strained my ear to hear my mentor's words. After seeing that he meant to get some rest, I nooded, walking back to the apprentice den. I settled down and drifted off to sleep.
~~~
Joypaw
"Okay," I cheerfully said to Jadestone. I ran into the forest, sniffing here and there. Finally I scented a mouse. I quietly walked toward it, but I forgot that I was waving my tail. The mouse ran, and I after it. Finally, I pounced, and with some luck, killed the mouse. Panting, I stood there to get some rest. Then I buried it near camp. Running back into the forest, I went off to find a squirrel.
Foxheart: I growled at Hazel and then ignored any other comments. I decided I was going to go and hunt. I was going to keep the food to myself, because there wasn't much food and I was starving. I left our territory and went out to the forest. I smelt an unfamiliar scent, the scent of a kit. Possibly soon the newest member of the Serpentine.
Stormclaw: Stormclaw was hungry and her clan needed food, she decided to go hunting. She came across the scent and ran towards it.
Foxheart: I ran to it, only to see my rival, Stormclaw. "What are you doing here?" I hissed. "The kit is ours, go away."
Stormclaw: She growled and her claws came out. "Leave the kit alone. I know what you'll do with it." She said angrily.
Foxheart: Then I pounced on her. I pinned her to the ground but then she rolled and I was pinned.
Stormclaw: She growled and then let Foxheart go and picked up the kit in her mouth gently. She then walked back to camp.
Foxheart: I hissed at Stormclaw and then went back to hunting.
{Waspclaw}
I felt a tug of guilt for being blunt with the young tom. He was most times such a cheery cat, but Scarleap's death had taken a toll on the young cat. I guessed that Scarleap had become a good role-model for the young cat Smokepaw. I shook off my feelings of guilt, my job as a mentor was to do what was best for my apprentice, and for now the best I could do was train him. How could I fix him when I myself still felt broken? "We'll be doing some battle training today." In battle training you have to put all your mind into it, I figured it could be something for Smokepaw to focus on instead of focusing on Scarleap's death.
(Wall)
I growled silently as I watched Foxheart walk away. How could just some she-cat like her think that she could boss us around? I dug my claws into the dirt. It was time for some change around here.
Wishpaw
I found Stormclaw carrying a young kit. "Who is that," I asked curiously. I started to walk up toward it, forgetting to be hostile to any unfamiliar cats.
Joypaw
I found a squirrel after some effort, yet I had to chase it because it heard me coming. Unaware of my surroundings, I accidentally chased it into the territory of the Serpentine. I stopped only after the squirrel was caught by a young she-cat. "Give it back," I said. The she-cat looked calm, but she sounded scary. "Prey caught on our land should be ours, but since you're a young kit, I'll let you go." she said coldly. She threw the squirrel back to me, and I ran back.
Soul
Soul was surprised to see Joyit, yet she was calm. After seeing Joykit, she left to other hunting grounds. Suddenly she realized that it was Joypaw. 6 moons old already she mused inside her head. She shook off the thought, focusing on hunting.
I walked out to go hunting, or more so to get away from the others, and to catch any prey if I happened to come by it. While walking, I suddenly saw out of the corner of my eye Soul. I was about to turn the other way, but just then, a squirrel ran toward her, and i watched as she killed it. I growled lowly in jelously, wishing I had caught it, but then, their was some clan apprentice. I unsheathed my claws. I was about to get ready to jump out and help Soul attack the clan cat, but then, Soul gave the prey to the apprentice. Fury burned throughout my body. That was serpentine prey! With a yowl of fury, I lunched myself from were I was and started chasing the clan cat at full speed. I would deal with Soul later, first, I had to get that prey out of that clan cats jaws.
(I've subscribed) I am doing third-person for all.
Eagleclaw
Eagleclaw let out a gusty sigh as he sorted through the herb supplies. They were running dangerously low on herbs, especially catmint and horsetail. Catmint... he thought. One of the most important herbs...
Shivering, he made his way out of camp and set to gathering herbs. Finally, Eagleclaw found a small clump of tansy. He gently nipped the stalks and carried it in his mouth. So little..
Carrie
She walked through the huge mounds of snow, shivering. The white powder crunched under her paws. Carrie had been hungry for days, as she did not know how to hunt well. Keeping her head low, she continued trudging through the thick snow.
Nettlesting
Silently she waited in the stark, black landscape of the Dark Forest. When would more cats come? It was fun to try and trick them...
(Friendly reminder that since it is leafbare the cats won't be catching bountiful prey. Most patrols of five bring back two pieces at most.)
Smokepaw bounded after his mentor, forcing himself to focus on training. He could mope later if he wanted to, but at this point in time he needed to learn to protect his Clan. The rogues nearby seemed to be growing bolder with the cold weather and they'd need all the able bodied cats they could get to defend the Clan.
~~~~~

Pathwalker flinched away from Cobra as the tom approached her. "I want you to start observing Clan patrols." he ordered. "The weather is getting colder and I want to know exactly how their new leader is going to react to any raids or intrusions. Meet me back here at moonhigh. You can eat whatever prey you catch."

Pathwalker jumped up, eager to finally be allowed to leave this wretched camp. She hurried out of the cave and slipped lightly through the snow, her training in the Luminant aiding in helping her leave scarcely a pawstep on the snow as she wove away.

~~~~~
Flarestar left his den, leeching on the ledge above camp. He watched as Eagleclaw left the camp, only to return with herbs. His curiosity grew as he watched Stormclaw enter camp, a kit dangling from her jaws.
His ears twitched as he jumped down to meet his deputy. "Who is this?"
I was surprised when a cat tried to chase me. Even if I was tired, I put on speed. The territory was just ahead. With a leap, I was back into my territory. Hopefully I don't get caught I thought. I rolled in the snow, leaping back up to run back to the clan. Luckily, I met up with Stormclaw and Wishpaw while running.
Soul
I had noticed Wall near me. Foolish cat I thought. I'll deal with him later, and I placed it in the back of my head. Sniffing, i tried to find another prey.
Stormclaw looked at Flarestar. "I found this kit in the forest, it looked starving. I don't think it's been there long, but any longer and it'd probably be dead. I had to fight... Foxheart to have this kit, I know what Foxheart would of done to it."
??? Looked at Flarestar. Her eyes were closed and she was freezing cold. She hadn't ate since the time she was abandoned back in the forest..
Foxheart: I looked around for food. I can't believe that the kit had gotten away, we could of taught it the ways of the Serpentine, a great warrior it would of been. I found two tiny white mice and while they weren't ready, I pounced. I managed to catch them. I ran back to camp with both mice. I put a single mouse on the fresh kill pile, and I ate the other.
I growled as the clan cat I was chasing ran into more clan cats. I was for sure on their territory now, I slowed down my pace and sheathed my claws, I would have to play this cool if I wanted the prey back, I couldn't just attack the apprentice now, although it would have been a nice rush. I walked up clamly to the cats, and with a firm growl I said, "That squirrel belongs to the Serpentine. She chased it into our territory, and it was even killed by one of our own cats. Just check the scent on it if you don't believe me. Its rightfully ours. Hand it over, please." I nearly spat that please, but I had to get this prey. It was leaf-bare, and any prey was worth fighting for.
"Okay," I meowed. "Attack me, to show me how much you've improved since last time. Claws sheathed."
Throwing the squirrel to Wishpaw, I said stubbornly,"The cat let me, she said so because I was a kit." I looked at him with a challenging glance. The cat was greedy, for sure, because he looked ready to kill me. Flattening my ears, I was ready to unsheathe my claws just in case.
Wishpaw
I was startled when a squirrel was flying toward me. Running toward it, I caught it. I ran back to the kit. Hearing Stormclaw tell her story, I offered the squirrel to the young kit.
Soul
Finding 2 tiny mice, I went back to the camp. Digging up the mouse that I caught a while back, I carried them back. I dropped it in front of me when I reached it. Food was scarce, that's for sure I thought. Picking up one of the tiny mouse, I ate it.
It wasn't like I was demanding prey from their territory that they had killed. I noticed the apprentice expose her claws, and I quickly exposed mine, my eye twitching. "Oh be careful there, someone might get really hurt." I said in a low, dangerous voice. "Either I dig my teeth into that squirrel, or into your neck, your choice."
I wasn't going to let my apprentice's prey get stolen. We needed it anyways. It was her assignment to catch prey, but I was going to see her fighting skills. I figured it was the best time. I wouldn't let her get hurt. I would be fighting alongside her.
Cloudspots: Seeing Jadespots and her apprentice, Joypaw, it seemed suspicious. I walked over, and smelled the scent of an unfamiliar cat. I shrugged it off. My sister was a good fighter.
@iiroleplayii @panda9983 (Both Stormclaw and ??? are in the camp at this time. For consistencies sake and to avoid having to edit or delete numerous posts please pretend that the prey wasn't brought before Stormclaw or ???)
Smokepaw nodded at his mentor. Making sure his paws were smooth, he dropped into a fighting stance. He slink around Waspclaw, sliding around until he was two tail lengths from his mentor's right side. Close enough he darted forward, lashing out with his paws as he went past. Now facing Waspclaw, Smokepaw paused. Waiting to see if his mentor wanted him to continue or wait for corrections.
Pathwalker had made it decently deep into the territory when she ducked down into a bush. Wall and Soul were being followed by Clan cats. A lot of Clan cats.
She shivered fearing for the Clan, she knew the extent of Wall's rage and she felt bad for those who would encounter it. As she moved further into the territory, or at least she thought, a silver blur passed in front of her vision. Pathwalker tensed as pawsteps crunched behind her before vanishing. Her fur bristled before something heavy and distinctly feline landed on her.
Pathwalker felt her breath flow out of her in a great whoosh as she scrambled to get her paws beneath her. She managed to throw her attacker off and whirled around, she hesitated before attacking as she saw a massive she-cat, almost as big as a fox, standing paws braced in front of her.
"What are you doing here?" the silver she-cat demanded, and Pathwalker was able to take in more about the cat. She had a gray face as well as legs and tail. Her eyes were a beautiful orange color and she seemed to be beyond furious with Pathwalker's intrusion.
{Wall}
I fluffed up my pelt to make me look larger, I bared my teeth and shook the apprentice that latched onto me off."They're apprentices, not kits!" I growled to Soul. "They are able to hunt for themselves!" I then added loudly to the clan cats, "And this prey was killed on Serpentine land and killed by a cat of the Serpentine. Your clan has no right to it!" I turned back to Soul with burning eyes, "And you, traitor, stay with them for all I care, cause if I see you back in Serpentine's camp, i'll shred you alive and use your stupid she-cat fur as a bed!" I ranked my claws along her nose and made a leap, I was mostly fluff so I was able to jump high, getting me small length in front of the other cats. I then ran again, not looking back at how close they were, I might want a fight, but their were to many. I could see the border up ahead.
{Waspclaw}
"Keep going," I meowed quietly, "Corrections well come once the entire spar is done." As soon as the words left my mouth I leaped at him, seeing how he would react to an unexpected front attack.
Eagleclaw
Walking into the medicine den, he placed the tansy in it's appropriate pile. Eagleclaw raised his head, and padded back out to collect more herbs. He wandered over to a clump of trees, and found just a little bit of catmint. Eagleclaw sighed. It's better than nothing... He picked it up and went back to camp to look for Ravenpaw.
"Ravenpaw?" he meowed.
@iiroleplayii How does he speak with prey in his mouth.
Soul
She winced as Wall clawed her. Running after him, she called, "They're only 6 moons old." Before she realized it, she revealed some information that shouldn't be revealed. She ran harder, then clawing Wall's side. She could say she had honestly hated him. "Also, don't forget that you clawed your leader." Soul added. He wasn't really suppose to hurt leaders.
Wishpaw
Despite Wall being fluffy, I was fluffy to. When I jumped again, I decided to use my claws to hook on. "Shake me off and I'll cling on harder." I said omniously. I was beginning to feel annoyed at the prey. Why couldn't it be Greenleaf again I thought. Then when I heard that she was 6 moons old, I shook my head. How did the cat know. "Well you have to check the scent," I started again. "Besides, the cat who kills it decided what she does with it, not you.
Joypaw
I'm close to being mad. But when my sister was thrown off, I was angry. With a leap, I tried stop him. I tried clawing him. Then I had an idea. I tore the squirrel out of his mouth. I didn't care if the squirrel was halved or not, but I ran back.
Jadestone: Furious, I clawed him and but deep into his front leg and clawed his flank. Seeing Joypaw run back, I let go and stopped him from following. I had scratches, but I didn't care. When Joypaw got back, they would be defeated.
Cloudspots: I saw Joypaw run back with half a squirrel. "What happened to the other half?" I could tell Joypaw was really angry. "Did anything happen to my sister?"
@panda9983 (Mumbles around it, like talking with your mouth full)
{Wall}
With a rip the squirrel tore in half as the apprentice snatched it from my mouth. Thankfully, I was still left with a larger piece, the apprentice had only managed to tear off the tail, back paws, and some of the hindquaters. I kept running, not wanting to turn back and risk losing the other half fighting for the whole squirrel. He snarled and ran faster, growling back to Soul, "Your no leader of mine!" With that a ran as fast as my paws could carry and kicked dirt back into Souls eyes, but then I remembered the apprentice clawing into my back, it hurt, but by this time I was close to the serpentine camp. I decided to keep running despite the pain from the apprentices claws. I finally got to the camp area of the serpentine and with a yowl flung the prey into the den where the followers slept. I then rolled over to crush the apprentice off and turned over quick and pinned them to the ground, clawing at the side of their face. I kept them pinned hard to the ground. "Run and don't come back" I growled. With that I flung the apprentice away and watched with careful eyes, seeing if they wanted to put in more of a fight.
Jadestone: "Don't think you'll get away with this," I snarled. "It's our prey. Let's go." I stomped away, muttering, "Don't worry. Well get them back."
Cloudspots: I heard pawsteps coming to camp, and I smelled Jadestone. She is okay! I thought. "What happened?"
Soul
I ran back, and went on hunting. I was furious, but glad that all was only focused on prey. He could have known...
Wishpaw
When he crushed me, I bit back my pain with defiance. He really doesn't know that some cats never gave up. I growled, saying, "Your leader might not like it if he saw you bring back a clan cat with prey." I was aching, but I wanted to fight, especially because he bullied me. Remembering that I was lightweight, I disappeared into the bushes. Might as well ruin some of the territory while I'm at it.
