Quillmark sighed as her tail swept against the floor again, leaving a trail of ink. The owner didn't mind so much as long as she didn't get any on the books. The customers however, weren't quite so forgiving of getting black marks on their fancy shoes. As she grabbed a wet rag, she glanced out into the dusty street outside. Leila was an interesting place to live. Not very comfortable, but interesting. Besides, her mother needed any eggcoins she could make at the library. "Quill!" She started out of her daydream. "Yes, Kantor sir?" "Go put this away, will you Quill?" She took the book from the old Wiset's hands. It was 'Easter Bunny Tales' which obviously went in the science section in the back. It looked interesting, she would have to read it later. As she slid the book on the shelf, she noticed a crack in the wall behind the books. She touched it and a door to a tiny cupboard slid open. She just caught sight of an egg wrapped in a blue scarf before hearing Kantor's footsteps behind her. She quickly slid the door shut.

...

Cub yawned as he watched the animals make their daily trek to the astroid in the field below. Most of them wouldn't find anything, he knew. He smiled thinking about when he was forced to do the same. Now he had much better sources. He looked back at his wings, admiring the many spell-marks on them. He was old, some thought immortal, and he knew a thing or two about eggs. He turned around towards the city. It was time to meet an old friend.

(sorry, short paragraph, and for those confused, this Quillmark is slightly different then the one in my profile)

@saturna
Look at mine or the other roleplays around. It's basically telling a story. Take it wherever you want 😊 I just started roleplaying like a week ago.

Viridian wandered closer to the city in the distance. She felt like visiting somewhere else again. Far away she could spot an oasis.

Jarrieo yawned as he opened his eyes. He could smell the wonderful scent of rain and it caused a smile to appear on his face. It wasn't long before the janot was out and about among the jungle, making sure each plant had enough water. Plants, or really nature in general, made Jarrieo comfortable and relaxed. They were like his family in a way.

While he was on his daily morning walk through the jungle, he noticed one of the trees had mangoes on it. Jar gently picked one off and bit into it. The flavor was delicious and the juice was refreshing. After his walk was done, a large smile spread across his face, taking in a deep breath of the fresh air. The janot approached a tree and started to climb it. Once he was a few branches up, Jarrieo sat down and leaned against the trunk.

"This is the life," he quietly said to himself.

Under explore, there is a map. You should be able to figure out the major landmarks, and work from there. @saturna

@izz (ok, as I am on a phone right now, I can't see it, so I will continue in the forest then)

Viridian climbed nimbly up a tree and sat on a sturdy branch, watching the tree branches swaying in the breeze. She closed her eyes and let it stir her fur, feeling peaceful.

Meer swam into Ark bay. She had been on a long voyage, and it was nice to get home. She was immortal, which meant she could never die out in the oceans away from Ark, but she felt safer here anyway. How long had it been since she first came into this bay? it had been years, decades even. There was only the town hall and a couple ramshackle buildings. Not enough to be a town much less a city. Being immortal had its perks, but Meer couldn't remember the last time she had a friend. A really good friend that she could talk to on the long nights when the rivers froze over. Maybe today she would get one.

Quillmark turned around. "Ah ha, ha, hello Mr. Kantor."
The Wiset furrowed his feathery brow. "What were you doing."
"Just putting the book away like you said."
"Right." Kantor said. He did not sound like he believed her.
Quillmark's tail swished against the ground leaving another black mark. "Whoops! I'm sorry about that. I'll go get something to clean that up." She quickly scampered off.
"Yes, you do that." Kantor shoved the books over so that they covered the secret door completely. "And Quill?"
She turned slowly around. "Yes?"
"You're fired."

...

The Arcweom squeezed himself through the door. He knocked over a couple eggs in a hanging basket, quickly catching them with his tail. "Hello?"
"Cub." The thief looked like he might be smiling under his mask. The button eyes remained emotionless.
"I've come here for an egg."
"Well, what am I here for? Just got some today. It will cost you though." The thief was most certainly smiling now, in a way that sent chills up Cub's spine.
"I think not."
"What do you mean?" The thief sounded confused.
"I mean that maybe we could work out an exchange deal. You give me an egg, and I don't show Aeroria these." He shoved some papers onto the coin littered table. "Records of all of your 'deals'. Plastic eggs, unfertilized eggs, hollow eggs... the list goes on."
"Hey, I gave the guys money back on that last one!"
"Sure, some of it. After he threatened you."
"I don't answer to Aeroria anyway."
The Arcweom raised his eyebrows. "But she could sure make things annoying for you. All I'm asking for is an egg."
"All right, all right." The thief dropped a black painted egg on the table, the pins protruding from his back quivering. "Here's your egg. I'm outta here."
Cub blocked the door with his tail. "I'd love to trust you, but you're staying here until this egg hatches, and that's final."

Tamais growled as the bushes shook, only to see a tiny bird hop out. It would never make a meal, and she was still full. She headed over to Lelia. The Alkub race would start soon, and she was always welcomed warmly.

Quillmark felt the coins in her satchel. Not very many, and no way of getting more. They were not even enough to buy food. She glanced heard cheering behind her and turned to face the area. There was, however, enough to buy admission to the Alkub races.
As she raced to the gate, all thoughts of the strange egg in the library were banished.

Viridian yawned and lay down on the branch, her paws trailing over either side. She half wished something interesting would happen but was content to just relax in the tree.
