@dawnfur because i think im too young. and if u look way back in this porum topic its because i dont think people in middle school should date, idont see the point. im not saying that i you shouldnt, i am just saying thats what i think for myself 😋

@dawnfur even in my grade people are going out (7th) but i noticed its mostly americans..

im NOT trying to be racist, thats just the truth, at least at my school.

@candy_girl_1298 Very mature thinking on your part. The thinking for yourself, I mean. Also not a bad decision either... As I've stated over and over, dating is actually better when you're older. Boys become less stupid then. xD

I want to add something sweet and gushy involving my boyfriend, but I currently can't think of anything... It'll be six months in a few weeks though! Still no fights or arguments or anything of the sort. 😊 I miss him even though I just saw him a few hours ago. xD

Yeah, boys are idiots. xD And even when they're older, they're still immature in their own ways. My boyfriend still laughs at poop jokes. -.- He looks so cute when he laughs though, so I can't complain about that too much. 😊

a lot of you talk about being "in love" at such a young age, its kind of scary. not to diminish your serious, emotional experiences, but dont you feel that elementary school is a little young to be sexualizing a relationship? cant you just be good friends with a boy still? sorry, but i just worry about how young some kids feel they need to have boyfriends and stuff

and just so you guys dont feel like youre dating too old (for the end of this forum topic), my parents told me i wasnt allowed to date until i was 16, and by 16 everyone in high school is pretty much established so no one wanted to date me except maybe for guy friends and i wasnt interested bc they were friends. so i didnt date for the first time until i was 18 my freshman year in college 😋

There was this boy i liked in 1st grade. He was in my class and we were both the smartest and great friends. And then he was in my 2nd grade class and we were still great friends. And then we weren't in each others class again until this year in 6th grade. And in those 4 years we didn't say A WORD to each other. Literally, NOTHING to each other. And then this year is the year where everyone gets a phone now a days, and where everyone thinks 'dating' is 'cool'. So we started talking again. And then we got each others phone numbers, and we text eachother EVERYDAY. Literally, everyday 😃
So i still kinda like him, but were just friends. And thats my story XD

It's not our fault we like someone... Like @thepells4 said it's nothing serious, so why not? I think we should be able to have a harmless relationship before going to high school and having a serious relationship. ^^

@chibiloki88 I'm 22 and just got my first and current boyfriend back in November- when I was 21! 😊 I know what you mean though- about the whole "needing a boyfriend" stuff. You have no idea how annoyed I'd get when I was 20 years old and hearing young teenagers complain about never having a first kiss... I had never even held a boys hand at the age of 20! But when I finally accepted the fact that I was not a loser just because I was 21 and never been kissed... a boy dropped into my life. 😊 (And he had the same amount of experience as me. Still does, I should say.)

I'm back! Not that anyone should really care... anyways, for everyone who thinks that young love is not really... real, I have to say I half agree with you, half not. In my school, most couples are dating cuz they think it's cool (and they break up about a week later). But there is this couple in my school, who have been going out for like a year, and I think that they seriously like each other... but who knows....
